So, don’t get me wrong, I still love my shine and glossy lips but I just feel that I started to appreciate the matte lip color a little bit more recently. Wearing these lipsticks, I don’t have to put lip balm first since it is comfortable enough to wear as it is. If you are wondering what type of lip balm you can wear before wearing a matte lipstick due to another whole level of dryness, then I will recommend you use the esos lip balm. I will be doing are full review next week on the esos lip balm. So, don’t forget check back later. Okay, so this lip balm will still maintain the properties of a matte finish lips simply because it is not greasy, not overly shinny while keeping your lips more hydrated. Like I just mentioned earlier, if you lips are very dry then go with the esos lip balm as a lip primer for hydration purposes.

First up is the Kate Moss Lasting Finish by Rimmel in 107 is a beautiful red plum tone which is so pretty. This is my first one try on this Kate Moss matte lipstick and for months and months I have been telling myself this is the most comfortable lipstick I have ever tried.  It feels so velvety smooth on, full coverage the shade is awesome and fabulous pigmentation. If you love red plum shade tone then you have found what you are looking for. I personally feel that with Kate Moss lipsticks, you could go no wrong. This 107 shade is so beautiful and stunning.

Next is this Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm. I got this in 250 Standout. The color is buildable and this shade in 107 is a beautiful red. I love how it stays on my lips and it feels lightweight. I just love the intensity of this matte lipstick.

The next shade that I will be sharing with you guys will be the Wet n Wild in Pink Suga which looks nude color.  This shade looks a little paler and a little bit heavier but I still think that it is comfortable.

  1. I have a hard time with matte lipsticks, too, so this is a great list. I can add Jordana Modern Mattes to your list, and I got a wonderful red matte lip crayon in a Memebox that is absolutely comfortable too.

  2. Totally love Wet n Wild and the Revlon matte balms as well. I was just at Walmart today trying to pick up more of the Wet n Wild ones but they were practically all sold out!

    1. Thank you for your comment, Chelle. Sorry to hear that the WnW were out of stock 😦 Both WnW and Revlon have good quality matte lip colors for a drugstore brand. Hope they restock soon!
