Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser|Review

maybelline instant age rewind

It’s a long weekend and what better things to do than going shopping for beauty makeup, right! Okay, maybe it’s just me then but I enjoy walking in the mall where there are air-conditioner (giggling). Anyways, I found this at Winners (Canadian Retail Store) and I have been longing to get this Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Makeup for the longest time ever. I was inspired to get this foundation after watching a beauty guru raving about it. Okay, I admitted that I waited to for it to go on sale but it didn’t seems to be happening every time I checked at the drugstore and boy was I glad and thrilled when I saw this for less than $6.00. Regular price at my local drugstore is $14.99.

There wasn’t many shades to choose from and I was full of joy when I saw the shade Honey which is the shade I’ll get on a regular basis. You can also find more available shades at Maybelline’s online website or your local drugstores.

The packaging is in a plastic bottle with a twist top sponge head applicator attached to the bottle. I personally think this is a cool design. It’s so easy to carry when travelling and its durable.  It sort of reminds me of the foundation stick which I love when going travelling. This packaging is more improved in the sense that the sponge works to blend and buff the formula with ease. No brush required. The downside of this packaging is that the sponge head will get dirty fast and for hygienic purposes, I do not recommend sharing this bottle. The trick I use every time I finished using is to use a makeup remover wipes to clean the formula off. I think this packaging is really depending on personal preference.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind

The formula blends incredibly well and I love how easy it is to apply. It manages to cover my dark circle areas very well and it has an impressive consistency which I really like. It’s not too thick and it works o hide uneven skin and doesn’t cause me breakout.

It brightens the dark circle area but not overly shiny. I also notice that it sits perfectly on my face and it is long wearing. Buildable coverage without looking cakey or heavy. Hurray!!! Another good news is that this eraser makeup has SPF 18 to protect your skin from sun damage. If you have dark eyes circle that needs coverage, try it, you’ll like it 🙂

I will definitely repurchase once I run out this bottle ❤

    1. Hahaha! That’s a very wise way to make sure you have the product you have on hand all the time. I’m glad that you love it 🙂 Thanks for your lovely comment, Annie 🙂 xoxo

  1. Great post. I’m willing to try this one! I have only used one drug store concealer and that’s Maybelline Fit Me. Coversge is very good. It’s an excellent concealer but… There’s a but here…. I have to be real diligent with blending and using a good setting powder. It can settle into fine lines. Not really bad but enough for some extra care when using.

  2. I have this one and really like it! I have been loving Maybelline’s Master Conceal lately though. That’s been my favorite. 🙂 xoxo

  3. I really want to try this! I have been about 5 times to go and get this but they never have the lightest shade in which is so annoying! Great post 🙂 xx
