L’Oreal Infallible 24 Hours Eyeshadow

Can we just take a minute to admire these eyeshadows?

If you caught my previous posts, there is a repeat here. But this post features all of the testing I’ve tried to date.

Take a look!

My first impressions was, I literally couldn’t stop staring… if I could frame these, I would.

The shades from left to right:  Bronze Divine, All Night Blue & Metallic Lilac

As you might have heard from some of my raves I do have love for these eyeshadows by L’Oreal Paris and I absolutely have the need to collect them all. Don’t judge me, I’m strange, I know! lol. The colors are irresistible!

Let’s see if you need this one.

Oh yes, yes! Get it. You really could choose a different look for every day of the month if you wanted to.

Here is the color swatch of Metallic Lilac I did without primer and with just one swap on bare arm. Look how insane the pigmentation and shimmer of this shadow. I notice the problem with highly pigmented shadow is the blending part. You definitely need an eye primer or eye base when working with very pigmented shadows in general. If you catch my drift.

At first I was sort of disappointed with the color pay of, it wasn’t as much as I thought it would be since they looked so vivid in the packaging and the swatches were so pigmented. But I ended up getting by brush damp and then dipping it into the shadow to get more color which seemed to do the trick. With that said, I would still recommend using a primer to forgo the hassle of the water situation. Note that this product allows wet or dry applications.

It is great on its own or paired with a more matte neutral. It applies so smoothly and beautifully, like most of the Infallible shadows and it wears well all day. Beautiful color payoff on All Night Blue.

The shimmer isn’t too OTT (over the top) & definitely doesn’t look cheap. I like the stopper packaging.

L’Oreal claims that it is an unstoppable waterproof shadow. The shimmery finishing of this shadow is less apparent than the Metallic Lilac. The color is very pretty no doubt about that. Perfect if you love to work on smoky or dramatic effect look.

The name Bronze Divine could be referred to as golden bronze!  The formula is really nice. Smooth and nicely pressed in the jar. Amazing pigmentation with a nice metallic edge that’s not too shimmery nor not too frosty.

But don’t get me wrong, I really like this shadow. The color is outstanding – one of those shades that works so well entirely on its own. Overall, these three shades are a keeper and I’ve considered a possible back up of the Bronze Divine. It’s a gorgeous shade that compliments brown eyes wonderfully well.

24hr? Ehhh maybe if you primed the daylights out of your eyes and used a ton of setting spray. 8-10hr day? Yes, most definitely. Absolutely worth every single penny.

My biggest “con” for this product (especially Metallic Lilac) is that the shadows have glitter specks in them. While it makes your eyes look pretty, the glitter found it’s way to lot’s of places on my face which then made me have to do some “post shadow” damage control. I would suggest doing your eyes before applying face products.

Would I purchase this product again? Yes, I would! I highly suggest grabbing it if the con I just mentioned doesn’t make you cold feet!

Here is how I got the look

Thanks so much for taking the time to read. I’ll see you again on the next one 🙂

  1. I love these! I own a bunch of them and I love that they apply so easily and don’t crease. I own just Bronze Divine of the 3 that you showed – I wouldn’t wear the other colours so I won’t get them.
