Wet n Wild Matte Lipstick – Cruelty Free Beauty Product

I’ve talked about this Wet n Wild Matte Lipstick before and mentioned that I’ll repurchase it. Today, I like to share with you some of the products which I repurchased simply because I really love it.

I can find some good makeup products by Wet n Wild at my local Walmart

Here’s what I picked up:

Wet n Wild Matte Lipstick in Wine Room – is a gorgeous reddish pink tone. The formula works well with this shade.

Wet n Wild Matte Lipstick in Bare It All – this shade is of brown toned. Definitely a pretty neutral shade.

I especially like the shades of these Wine Room and Bare It All. These lipsticks are quite satin/matte to me. I noticed that it’s not the matte finish like those of drugstore lip cream. It’s very nicely pigmented — the color payoff is incredibly intense.

Matte lipsticks gives you noticeable color without the feeling of a heavy product on lips. My lips likes it feels comfortable and not too drying. This product allows you to apply more if you like, and the more vibrant the look becomes.

The formula is easy to apply. If I had to think of one bad thing to say about them, it would have to be that the packaging looks a little cheap. It tends to come off of the actual tube because there isn’t a secure fit. But snap out of it! These are gorgeous and they’re only $2.97! COME ON!

Here are the color swatches which I swiped on my bare-arm only once. The formula is smooth and easy to glide on. These lipsticks gives a nice velvety satin/matte finish, if you don’t like super matte lipsticks.

Overall, it’s good for the price. They’re matte and all they have a variety of colors to choose from so go get yourself some wet n wild lipsticks!! They do have a good color selection so there is something for everyone.

I’m being picky just to criticize, but at its price point, the quality of the lipstick itself has already exceeded my expectations, not to mention they’re cruelty free too.

Next up is this Milani Color Statement Lip Liner in Spice. I love Milani and love this lip liner. Lately, I have been reaching for Spice to wear underneath the Wet n Wild Bare It All matte lipsticks.

I love the packaging, it looks high-end! I also love that they’re priced under $5.00, sharpen nicely and look natural on the lips. So yay! It says on the packaging that it’s long wearing, easy to glide on and the formula could be used to line and fill the lips.

Milani liners are, as I mentioned, creamy, long lasting, and easy to sharpen. They’re made of wood (bonus if you dislike retractable liners) and are well pigmented. The color of spice is of brown nude tones.

The only thing that bothers me about this liner is that they only come in eight shades. Out of those eight, I could only see myself wearing maybe three. But I won’t let that stop me. And you ladies shouldn’t either. Mind you, the Milani brand is also on Leaping Bunny’s list.

  1. I wanted Bare it All when I was doing my $20 makeup challenge but they were out of stock! It’s a great everyday type colour. I ended up getting Mocha-licious which is a browny plum shade.

  2. I have never really bought any Wet N Wild products before but these look like they are really pigmented. How long would you say the color lasts before you have to reapply.
