Birthday Haul From Sephora

Hey guys! I hope your week is going well!

I’m back here today to talk a little bit of my birthday mini haul makeup products. Sorry, it’s a late post but the saying later than never is completely true. I’ve been so busy over the past month and fallen sick doesn’t help. But anyways, I’m here with some goodies.

May was my birthday month. And so, as a birthday gift for myself, I went to Sephora online a few weeks before my birthday and ordered some of my must haves makeup products that has been in my bucket list.

When I first saw it, I know it’s mine!

Look what I found! Urban Decay Vice 4 selling at $45.00 online. I clicked add to cart immediately when I saw it on sale. I’m a huge fan of Urban Decay and I’ve been dreaming of this palette every night. So, it’s save to say that I’m really really excited about this.

The Urban Decay Vice 4 Eyeshadow Palette is a new, limited edition palette that contains 20 pan new and limited edition shades. I’ve Vice 2 palette and really like them. Anyways, I think I’ll be doing a side by side comparison between the two palettes later in my blog.

I really love this web design packaging. These palette seems to be dominated with micro-glitter with a few pretty matte and a few satin finish colors. This comes in a slim case with a coordinating bag to protect your Vice 4 during storage or travel. The compact is made from a sturdy plastic and has a double layer top that gives the appearance of shattered glass. Looks very edgy, comes with a full size mirror, a double-ended brush applicator and a coordinating bag.

They’re so metallic and beautiful and they blend beautifully. There is particular one that has been calling my name. And it’s the Pandemonium. So so pretty!

Some shadows kick up a bit of powder but not really much. I wouldn’t say it’s a problem at all. I see I could do many different look with this palette and so I’m definitely going to try them out more to tell you what I think and also more swatches.

Next is another eyeshadow palette I’m excited to try by bareMinerals Work Weekend Wow for $36.00 a set. This set comes with seven long-wearing shadows, a blush, and a lipstick for endless makeup effects. I also purchased this for the special deal. Everything in this set is full size.

If you’ve been following my blog, you would know that I’m very obsessed with eyeshadow palettes. If, you haven’t, let me tell you that I don’t need yet another palette but caved in every time. Not a healthy habit but what can I say. I love my palettes!

The  packaging is very sleek and compact with great color payoff when I did a quick swatch on my hand and no fallout from the glittery shades. I like the numbering and color names for each shadows. Also, the instruction guide for different eye makeup looks. There are a few mattes and neutral shades which I quite like. But I’ll definitely going to try out a little more and tell you if I recommend this or not.

Coming right up next is this Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Break Away (full size), net wt: 0.12 oz. If you’re buying this alone on the website it’s selling for $23.00. There are twelve satin finish to shimmery colors to pick.

Really love the packaging. It reminds me of the Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme Lipstick solid black packaging with a press on button.

This is a mauve color-toned lipstick that’s creamy and very pigmented. I posted the lip color on my Instagram if you like to check it out. I noticed a strong scent from this formula which I’m not really a big fan of. I suspect it’s from the abyssinian oil and fatty acids. But I’ll continue to wear them and let you know if I ever changed my mind to liking the smell.

Here is the product from the set I got from Sephora. It’s the bareMinerals All- Over-The Face Colors. This is a loose powder blush that’s so pretty. Love the cute packaging that comes with a pull-up lid.

I’m  not really a huge fan of loose powder but I find this mineral blush doesn’t bother me that much. You just have to sprinkle the products o the cover and pick up from there. I like that it’s not extremely messy. if that make sense. The shade I got is very pretty and amazingly pigmented. Excellent color payoff and a little goes a long way, as the saying goes.

I’m very excited to try it more for more detailed review of this cruelty free product.

Anyone thinking what I’m thinking?  Or is it just me! Summer screams time for vacation or a trip to the beach or even pool party BBQ-ing on the backyard.

I ordered a few products i travel size since I’ve been planning for several family trips this summer. So, I got this Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Make A Splash Hydrating Ski Savers. This set contains three travel size products, such as cleansing gel, 4-in-1 mist and H20 hydrating boost for only $12.00 on Sale price. I’m not sure if they’re planning to restock it back but it’s definitely a super steal.

The packaging are really cute and I heard some good reviews about it. I’m curious to try each one of them. I love love the scents of these products. Smells amazing and yes I’m so going to try these for sure. You know what, I’m just too excited – I have to try the hydrating boost now since I just finished with a good facial mask treatment. I want all the H20 to absorbs into my skin. Smells therapeutic and fresh. Ahhhhh!!! This feels so good 🙂

I’ll continue to use them and would report back in my later review.

Last but not least, I got these Artist Palette by Makeup Forver from Sephora. For only  $1.00 each whether it’s a single, duo or trios I have to get them all, right! I was so obsessed that I got 10 of them!

I love how sturdy the magnet on each palette is. You can pop any of your favorite shadow on without much problem at all. I don’t have to depot mine since I still have my Make Up Geek Eyeshadows that have been lodging in the dorm until just recently. To me, these are brilliant especially if you’re going for a day/short trip but still wants to touch up or look pretty. I did shared a picture on my Instagram how happy my MUG eyeshadows are now. So, you can check it out.

I know I’ve mentioned it but these artist palette is that awesome. It’s convenient and travel friendly. You can just throw them in your purse and your shadows will be so happy.
