Hey guys! ,
Yes, I raved about this Almay Truly Lasting Color Foundation in my previous post that I’ll link here for you guys. Today, I’m showing you my new purchase of the Almay TLC in the shade 220 Neutral.
I know it’s strange but believe me when I tell you that, I would picked up 2-3 similar products on one go if I really really love them. Whether it’s clothing, shoes, makeup or purse. Does this ever happen to anyone? Let me know in the comment below.
Any foundation formula that feels like my second skin, I’m in for that. This is my favorite drugstore brand for now. Yes, I not only got one but two bottles, the second bottle which I recently picked up as backup.
I did mentioned on my previous post at Express Beauty Blog that Shoppers Drug Mart had discontinued with the Almay brand. But I believe other drugstores are still carrying them. Anyways, when I saw this at the liquidation rack, I snatched it immeditately. The color is what I needed for my backup. It was on sale for $4.00 and it’s the only bottle left. A Win!
It’s lightweight and keeps the area hydrated and it gives a pretty coverage that it’s not cakey. It blends easily, covers amazingly and last so long. There’s really nothing not to love about this foundation.
One main thing I hate is a heavy oily foundation or anything so powdery it just gets into your pores and clogs them. This foundation is not like that at all, which is pretty awesome!
I find the blend ability is good, it doesn’t irritate skin and leaves a semi matte finish. I would say the coverage is medium and buildable. I have had no issues with it being cakey whatsoever.
If you’re looking for a reliable and yet natural looking appearance, look no further. I highly recommend. Check out this one in the drugstore near you. I just want to put it out that it may be a little pricey compared to other drugstore brand but if you can wait for coupon or reward points, then you would get for a good steal.
What do you think of this product? Comment below what you think.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope I’ll see you guys again on the next one. Bye!
Sharon xoxo

Sounds good. I also dislike pore clogging one.

Oh no, it’s not strange to me – if I love something I pick up a few. If it’s clothes, I’ll buy one of each colour they have! 😆
This foundation looks really good. To be honest, I don’t pay much attention to Almay makeup – nothing really jumps out at me, although I did like their One Coat mascaras.

I’ve never heard of this foundation, but it looks like it works really well! And I’m the same way when I buy stuff, especially when it’s on sale. If I like it, I tend to stock up a bit!

the price you had it for is so convenient! Do you think a dry skinned girl (like me) would find it suitable?

I’ve combination skin that’s leaning more towards drier skin and I’ve no problem wearing this foundation. It’s not cakey and doesn’t cause any breakout on me. Try to put moisturizers before applying your makeup – and it does help. xo
