Hi guys, today I’ve a few drugstore cruelty free makeup haul for you. I purchased all these stuff and then I said oh!!! it’s time to do a haul and I’m freaking excited! Really, really excited!
There’s quite bit of products I have picked up from Walmart. Yes, aren’t they’re gorgeous! Since the day our Walmart has E.L.F.Cosmetics I’ve been insanely obsessed to get all their stuff. It’s so fun to do a haul. I got many requests to do the E.L.F. makeup products so this is so exciting.
So, I’m going to go ahead and jump into everything.
The shade from (L-R) : Ain’t That Sweet (pinkish), Wine Pot (burgundy wine) and Crush Chic (gold bronze).
Look how cute these smudge pots are. It comes in a clear transparent glass pot and this is so cool. I’m loving it now and I’m going to continue trying them.
These are some gorgeous E.L.F. Smudge Pots. Absolutely stunning! Look how pigmented they are. The first moment I opened up this Crush Chic, I knew I was going to love it. It’s so so pretty!
I love the shades and the formula. Crush Chic would be perfect for the coming holiday. Wine Pot is amazing for fall and Ain’t That Sweet for everyday eye makeup. It’s like they got us covered the whole year round.
The next thing I want to talk about is this Blush in Mellow Mauve.
When showing it on picture is gorgeous but when in person it’s amazing. There’s a little of shimmer in it but I’m going to try it out for a little more before I share my thoughts and opinion on this one. I’m going with the thought of going back and forth with this blush. Everything here is so smooth and pigmented. I just can’t get enough of this. One apparent thing I notice is that it allows you to layer for more depth without looking cakey or clown-y.
Moving on to the next item I got is the Perfect Finish HD Powder in a compact packaging. It comes in a duo layered tier with a decent mirror on the cover. I would recommend this one if you don’t like the loose powder format. The texture is very lightweight and super soft on touched. I can tell you that I like it but not love. I think I’m going to use it a little bit more before I give my final thoughts.
Next thing I want to talk about is this beautiful packaging E.L.F. High Definition Powder in Sheer. This is studio line product on E.L.F.
It doesn’t necessary have the largest impact when you put if on your face. It really need to take time to test it out for a longer time.
This is the packaging. It’s a matte black old box. It’s a square shape with twist off top. This is a everyday sheer highlighter. These are pigmented and so soft. Very lightweight. It’s intended to be used as finishing powder basically and that’s how I’ve been using it. I want it to be clear it’s not a shimmery shinny product. It’s like a soft natural finish.
I prefer to use a big fluffy powder brush to apply, but sometimes use the puff that comes with it to pat on areas that need extra attention. My only complain is the packaging. It gets very messy after you lift up the sticker. The plastic sifter will get messy. If you’re not super careful there will be powder EVERYWHERE. I personally is not a big fan of this honestly. It’s so messy and wasteful. I’m just being honest!
Next is this gorgeous Mad for Matte Eyeshadow Palette by E.l.f Cosmetics. You guys know that I’m obsessed with eyeshadow palettes and you know that I’ll keep on going back to get more palettes every time I see them. I seriously need someone has to chain me down (jk). I don’t I’ll ever stop buying eyeshadow palettes ever. I love all the shades and this Mad for Matte was screaming my name.
If you’re in the market for an affordable and good quality eyeshadow palette, I highly recommend this. It housed 10 amazing neutral matte shadows that suits any skin color. If you’re a beginner to makeup, this palette is a must have. It’s nicely pigmented and it long wearing. The shadows are true to its color and a little goes a long way. The packaging is slim and sleek. Love it!
This is it!
Now I’m going to talk about something I don’t really liked. And it’s the Baked Eyeshadow Palette in California. This is unfortunately a miss because the formula is not long lasting and it takes a lot of work to blend. It’s also very dry and packed with metallic powder with fall out. I just wanted to try them out for you guys but I was having difficulty to apply them on my lids.
So instead, I did some swatches as shown below- I picked the products using my fingers and these are done with a single swipe directly from the pan to my bare hand. They’re insanely shimmery and metallic looking finishing. The pigmentation looks decent unless you use it wet. I tried using them dry which doesn’t show up anything. I really like the shades in the palette but this is just a miss for me.
I really want to like it but nope this isn’t working for me.
So, that’s all for my haul today. I think it’s safe to say that we all agree that Elf prices just can’t be beat. It’s so difficult to find the balance between quality and price. You know what I’m saying! You got to give some credit to Elf, they’re always creating new things.
What do you think guys? Will you be checking these out soon? Comment below your reply. I love to read your comments.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.
I really hope you enjoyed reading this post and I can’t wait to see you again on the next one. Bye!

Thank you so much for your honest, unbiased review of the product. It is true that it is difficult to find a balance between price and quality. The colors looks good though. I am just sad that the eye shadow palette was not a good pick for you.
