Get The Look with Neutrogena Hydro Boost Makeup

 

I’m completely obsessed with every single products which was sent to me by this pr company.  Most of you know that I love the brand Neutrogena and I’ve been wanting to try their makeup line for the longest time. So having these makeup products to try is truly a dream come true since we don’t have it here in Canada.

I’m introducing you guys to a line of makeup with hydrating hyaluronic acid from Neutrogena. I’ve four new products from the Hydro Boost line that I’m very excited to talk about today.

First thing I want to talk about is the Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Treatment by Neutrogena.

It comes in a clear transparent plastic packaging. Very easy to bring it along in your makeup bag. Super nourishing and gentle to the lips. On their website they claim that it makes lips look and feel hydrated for 24 hours. Honestly, I don’t wear makeup for more than 12 hours duration so I can’t tell if it stays hydrated for 24 hours but I can say that when I tried it on, I was quite impressed with the result. It’s not going anywhere unless you start eating.

Available only in one shade and here’s a swatch my finger pick up directly from the pan. A colorless pigment that you can wear and great for everyday. It’s jammed packed with products that a little really goes a long way. It’s moist and comfortable on the lips. Definitely snap it up before the arrival of cold and dry season.

If you’re new to the world of lip balm this is a great place to start because it’s very easy to work on and so affordable. It’s very hydrating to the lips and not waxy whatsoever. I had it on again yesterday and it lasted me for 3-4 hrs until I had a bowl of ramen noodle for lunch.

Moving on is the Nourishing Long Wear Eyeshadow + Build in Primer. I’ll be going through this quad for you and giving you my opinion. It comes in a stripe format which I really adore. I do like the color scheme in it. You’re getting four eyeshadows and a mini dual ended sponge applicator.

The quality of these shadows are pretty consistent in my opinion. It has that silky and velvety texture feels which I really like. This product will be amazing for beginners. And if, you want something that you could wear daily and yet get that natural look, these shades definitely fit the bill!

These shadows are good, I mean we’re talking good pigmentation here. The shadow on my right side is very smooth and buttery to touch while the rest are equally smooth with a more powdery consistency. They’re easy to apply and blend nicely. They applied evenly which I really appreciate from powder shadows. I did noticed this shadow kick up some powder but it doesn’t really bother me very much since I just have to tap the excess powder off before I do my thing. I’d say these shades are nice for your every day wear.

This Natural Ivory shade Hydrating Tint would be perfect for Nicole Kidman but it’s definitely too light for my NC25 skin tone. I’m going to skip talking about the color but instead focusing on the formula and the packaging.

I love the formula of this foundation. It claims as a hydrating foundation that’s better for your skin than wearing no makeup at all! I agree with their claim. It’s so lightweight and comfortable that you wouldn’t feel you had it on.

It comes in a cute bottle packaging with a silver twist on cap that looks really luxe. I do appreciate big doe foot applicator like so. It’s able to pick up products like no other.

I love the formula so much, I need to get the correct shade for my skin tone right away. If you’re looking for a flawless look that’s good quality and great value for money, this product really packed a punch. It’s amazing!

As I was wrapping up this post, I received two darker shades foundation from my pr agent since the first one was too light. So I think I’ll do a separate post dedicated to this product. Don’t forget to stay tuned for the next post if you want to see other color swatches in action.

Another new lip product line I want to talk about is the Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine.

The lip shine name is call Velvet Wine. A new formula that’s non-drying and not sticky. Lip gloss that locks the moisture and gives your lips that intense conditioning shine. As far as the wand applicator is concerned, I noticed that it comes a little too big. You need to pull and push the applicator with more force out or in from the tube. But the wand applies evenly and glides on the lips ever so smoothly if I can say so.

I highly recommend the shades Deep Cherry and Velvet Wine which is beautiful for fall and festive holidays. I just can’t get enough of this lovely color!

I’m loving it! My lips feels so moist, plump and juicy. It’s the best feeling ever for a lip shine in my opinion. It gives a luxurious finish that I truly appreciate. This is a winner in my book. Such a gorgeous formula that I’ll never get sick of. If you haven’t tried this Hydrating Lip Shine yet, I urge you to add this to your makeup bag!
