New In: Diamond Concealer by Rodial

July is the month of new discovery for me! I discovered a lot of new makeup products over the past few weeks but what I’m most excited about is this Diamond Concealer that I received in my mail box and I’m so excited to share it with you. A big shout out to the pr company for sending me this amazing product!

Let’s get started!

I’m going to be talking about the Rodial Diamond Concealer. I noticed a lot of radiance effect that comes through every time I’ve it on. I really like the texture and the consistency of this formula. I’ve been getting a very good result with this and really impressed with the good coverage. It’s a strong medium but the staying power is absolutely amazing. So pleased with how fresh this still looks at the end of the day.Ā I just knew I’m going to love this stuff!

I want to take a few second to mention about this beautiful and luxury looking packaging. You guys knows I’m a huge fan of things like cute and elegant packaging, so I’m really happy to get my hands on this particular one.

Doe foot applicator

I’m in the shade 20 in this stuff.Ā  A yellow undertone, warm shade, for light skin. And here’s the claim.

Key Benefits:

  • Diamond Core Powder: works to create a flattering, youthful appearance to skin
  • Sea Fennel Extract: helps to boost collagen production to smooth and firm fine lines
  • Vitamin E: protects skin from damaging free-radicals, while repairing and hydrating the skin.

I give this big doe foot applicator a swipe and just look how much the products appear on the swatch. I find this to be too much for me, so a little goes a long way. This is a pretty good shade match and my skin looks really really natural. It doesn’t look too thick on my skin.Ā It blends really seamlessly and gives my skin a subtle natural-looking glow.

Comparison

Just for fun, I added one of my favorite drugstore concealer for comparison. Just compare the difference in product texture and the wand applicator. I noticed the formula on the Rodial is on a much creamier side which gives more coverage compared to Maybelline Fit Me concealer. I’ll definitely be continuing wear these two in makeup rotation.

I find it to be really good coverage and the overall velvety finish to this. I thought it look fantastic on camera! I could see a little sheen which I really like.Ā I think the luminous creamy perspective that claim really pulls it off very nicely.Ā  So definitely check it out if you’re into creamy concealer that actually works.Ā This concealer didn’t disappoint!

  1. Would you say it has a dewey finish or like a highlighter? Or does it matte easily? I’m obsessed with good concealers, so I must know more!!

  2. I just bought my very first liquid foundation (at 44-years old!) so I am literally new to makeup. I like the sound of this – “velvety finish”, “a little sheen”, and “luminous creamy” I might just have to add it to my repertoire!

  3. Thanks for this! I’m in the market and searching for new makeup including trying new brands. Looks like good stuff!

  4. How do you buy the right shade. I try matching it with my hand like in your photo but it turns out a few shades lighter than my face making it look fake. Is there a better way?

  5. I love Maybelline products. And by your swatches, I can tell that it has better coverage than the latter. But, when it comes to price, which is more pricey? Thanks!
