October Beauty Favorites

 

It’s officially Fall here in Canada and I couldn’t be more excited since it’s one of my most favorite season of the year. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been sent several pr products which I’ve shared them on my Instagram feed and been trying them out ever since I got them. Fall weather always makes me excited to try out more skincare products that both hydrating and revitalizing for my skin.

First up, I just want to take a few minutes to talk about this Dual Layer Face Oil by Laniege. It’s their new water bank collection line which was launched sometime last month. In case you haven’t heard of the brand, Laneige. It’s a South Korean cosmetics brand owned by Amore Pacific and the brand name comes from La Neige which means Snow in French.

I’m loving the cute funnel drip design. Look how cute it is! Clumsy as I am, a few accident happened in the past and if you’re a beauty blogger, I’m sure you can relate to this. This just helps avoid spillage from happening which I think is brilliant.

I’m obsessed with the formula. It makes my skin feels super smooth and hydrated without feeling greasy whatsoever. Absorbed to skin in an instant and seals all the moisture in.

BB Cushion Hydra Radiance in the shade No. 21 Beige. I love the concept of a BB cushion and once I’ve my hands on this babe, it’s a life changing moment for me. I’m all about products that I can use and apply easily and quickly before rushing out of the door 10 minutes later. And what’s great about this Laniege BB Cushion is that it apply so effortlessly. It’s such a breeze to use this stuff.

The formula is amazing and it lasted me for a good 8 hours wear without touch up. The benefit of having an SPF 50 in this bb cream is huge. This SPF 50+ helps protect your skin from UVA rays while creating a luminous finish to the look. I’ve been using this bb cream for more than a month now and I really love the beautiful pigmentation and good coverage finishes. Try it!

The next skincare product that I’ve been loving is the Bright Renew Original Serum.  I love a good serum and this stuff did just that.

I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing my skin has been looking since I’ve been applying this serum. It’s extraordinary! My skin feels and look brighter and clearer.

I like to apply the serum on the tips of my fingers and gently work around my face. I then press palms into face for better absorption. A little goes a long way with this product. This is one of my favorite skincare step for self-love. I encourage you to define your own beauty!

Next  got Fresh Rose Floral Toner that’s a must have in everyone’s beauty arsenals in my opinion. This stuff really smell glorious! I just can’t explain them in words, you really have to get your own and you’ll know what I mean. The delicately sweet scents of roses are simply intoxicating!

I can’t really confirm if it lasted for 24 hours as they claimed but all I know is that this stuff keep my skin stays hydrated by giving that extra boost to my dry skin. I notice this  floral scents does help with mood lifting. The fresh and clean smells is everything my body, soul and mind needs right this moment. A cult classic for a reason so definitely give this a try if you haven’t already!

Since it’s officially fall here where I lived, it’s the perfect time to pull out a bold red lipstick and add this gorgeous shade to my collection. This is the only product I picked up at Marshalls.

The shade Gazpacio is described as a true blue red which is so pretty on the lips and on swatch. I really like the smooth and creamy texture of this formula. The formula is so comfortable and lightweight on the lips.

Last but not least is the Shiseido Ultra Sun Protection Spray with SPF50+. I’m obsessed with the cute packaging. Love the color and the spray applicator. It’s convenient to use and easy to store. All you need is squish the product and apply them all over your body.

Don’t ever think of putting down your sunscreen even though it’s fall weather. The sun can still do damage to your skin in cold weather. Remember to wear sunscreen with high SPFs for better protection before rushing out of the door. This is that one product that I’ll be reaching for a lot over the coming months. If this brand is new to you, definitely go and check out their products <here>.
