In about a week from today, I’m planning to give some surprised gifts to the teachers and my son’s classmates in school. School break starts December 21st for two weeks. I decided to give each person a package of Christmas gift. To make the presentation a bit more fun, with the help of my son, we made a simple DIY Snowman Bags.
Here are some quick and simple steps to follow:
This is a great last-minute gift idea. If you need something for office staff, for donation box and volunteers – this would be a quick DIY idea. We were able to make up to 25 of these in about an hour. We had so much fun together. To Learn shapes and Create!
It’s a fun DIY for children to be involved hands on and a great way to share the spirit of giving this Holiday season.
Good luck if you choose to make this. I love to hear your comments of any other Christmas DIY you did when you were young?

Today, I bring you another collaboration post called Snow Themed/Makeup Menu with all my good friends Kaily of Hello Kaily, Stashy from Stash Matters and Ingrid of Curly Spring Blossom. I’ll be linking their blogs down below. So, be sure to visit their Blogmas Holiday posts.
HOLIDAYS are the best time of the year…My Favorite Winter and all the Festive Spirit is something I waited for the whole year. For me the Holiday is NO HOLIDAY without… Family, Friends, Spirit of sharing and giving, also SNOW!
First of, I wanted to share my interpretation of Snow. For me, anything that is White, I relate it to snow. I remembered growing up watching Snow White and the 7 dwarfs when I was a little girl, disney movie Frozen, Elsa and Olaf the talking snowman, Snow Queen and Ice Age just to name a few. Mostly, everything white reminds me of snow!
Today, with all my other good friends friends sharing the theme Snow or Makeup Menu, I’m excited to share a few here with all of you.
by source : All white makeup
Hence, this is what’s buzzing in my mind right now. The point of white makeup is to express everything snow white to remind, of snow. I really like this loo on the Korean model but honestly, I know I can’t pull off with everything white. I’ll definitely looked deadly if I paint my face all white since I’m on a light to medium skin-toned but the model looks stunning! If you feel inspired by this look, try it and leave your comments please.
For the dramatic effect, even the eyebrows are covered with white color like a pine tree after snow. This is so cool.”This model makeup look is to express image of a Snow Queen according to the makeup director”.
I think this theme is my biggest challenge yet. As easy as it may sound, I’m having a hard time writing this post to be honest with you. But I’ll do my best possible.
Here are my picks of White as Snow Theme:
I can see how opaque white nail polish could be a little off-putting in a “Whoa! But when they’re done right, I think they’re go-go girl chic. Again, I’m not a true fan of white nail polish on myself. I love to admire people who wore them but I simply couldn’t pull off with opaque white polish. I’m weird I know but I don’t feel comfortable wearing creamy white polish. It doesn’t match my skin tone and it just didn’t worked well on me but I know many who loves wearing this white as snow nail polish for winter. I believe it’s a pretty color for those who likes light shade nail polish.
White Graphic Glitters by Makeup For Ever is a product I’d like to apply them on my neck and body to add some glittery and glam from just a boring old fashion appearance. It’s nice to add some glitter in my life. You can apply these on your eyeshadow makeup if your eyes are not too sensitive. It could really make eyes more popped with extra definition.
To be honest. I seriously don’t mind indulging myself in this shaved ice now. Yes, it’s cold outside but this patbingsu looks so mouthwatering. Green tea ice cream on top of shaved ice with red beans, ohh.. heavenly!. IN Korea this shaved ice is called Patbingsu. Bring in the snow, bring in the ice, hahaha! It’s warm inside ;P
This will make my holiday dreams come true. A beautifully lighting with candle lights coupled with white decor dining setting, I wish upon the star to grant my wish tonight. A charming and inviting snow white decorating, a pleasure in everyone’s eyes.
Hope you’ve enjoyed reading this. ’tis the season to be jolly, fa la la la la, lalalala!
What do you think? What is your interpretation of SNOW? I LOVE to hear your comments in the comment section.

Somehow it’s always more fun buying makeup around the holidays. The colours seem more sparkly and vibrant. The packaging is out-of-this-world cute (or luxe). And do I even have to mention the value you get when brands package up three, four (or, like Lancôme, 14!) different sample top picks products in one single gift bag?!? I mean, they’re practically giving this stuff away.
Now… what to get all the other women in your life? Help is here!
I’ve this idea of getting this beautiful gift set that something I would be elated to receive myself—from luxe makeup such as this gift set byLancôme Cosmetics. It’s valued for C$308.00 with 15 pieces of beauty products and a special edition for this holiday. The special promotion luxurious Holiday SET will be yours for only C$67.00 with purchase offer.
In case you just followed my post or just passing by I want to mention that it’s our second post instalment on Blogmas Holiday Collaboration where I teamed up with three very good friends from Hello Kaily, Curly Spring Blossom and Stash Matters. I’ll put their links below and if you are excited to read what they have in their beautiful blogs, don’t forget to head over to check them out.
I’m thrilled, so let’s get started!
This is part of my early Christmas gift from my honey bear. He made me promised not to open the others until Christmas morning (gah!!!) Hence, I’ll have a feature schedule set as “Christmas Gifts Unwrapped” after Christmas with all of you.
But I promise him to open just this one since I’ve been holding back for far too long. This case is too cute and all the makeup looks so pretty to touch but I want to do this for all of you.
It’s a gift of sharing what’s in this Train Case that keeps me so excited.
You will get the following items:
Advanced Genifique Youth Activating concentrate
Bi–Facil Double Action Eye Make Remover
Color design Sensational Effects Lipcolor in Designer Bloom and Trendy Mauve
Delicate Oil Free Powder Blush in Shimmer Mocha Havana
Juicy Tube Ultra Shiny Gloss
Khol Eyeliner Pencil in Black Ebony
Color Design 5 Shadow & Liner Palette for Warm Day and Warm Night
Booster XL Super- Enhancing Mascara Base
High Definition Mascara in Black
Dual-end Liner and Shadow Brush
Cosmetic Bag in Gold
There are so many great Lancôme products that it’s quite hard to pick only three, so I’ve chosen my favorites from their recent launches. The rest of the products will be reviewed subsequently.
Here are some of my quick take:
I noticed the packaging of these palettes have been revamped to look similar to Naked Basics Palette. The older packaging retailed for C$57.00 which is on a high price tag if you asked me. I recommend getting this Travel Bag for C$67.00 with purchase at Pharmaprix Pincourt or at Shoppers Drug Mart while stock lasts. This bag is totally worth it.
The light shades are good as highlight and neutral shades which also includes a grey liner that is perfect for day wear.
There’s a really good mix of matte. shimmer and metallic shades included and I’m pleased to say that every single one is seriously pigmented and super easy to blend. I’ve been really drawn to the shades rustic copper, gold and bronze. They have just the right of shimmer in to give a luxe look and the pigmentation is so, so good.
I know that this Train Case GIFT Bag with purchase is a limited edition but couldn’t confirm if these eyeshadow palettes would be a permanent feature. In other words, this is one of the few I’d recommend that you rush to buy if. It’s definitely going to be a favorite in my makeup bag for months to come.
Which of these two do you like the look of this palette from Lancôme?
If you ask me, there’s always room for another nude lipstick in your collection (yes, I am an enabler). But here’s what makes these different. I find the formula to be very moisturizing and so pigmented.
This is major. I hate it when a lipstick looks good when you first put it on, only to get dull, disappear and/or dry out a short while later. Does this sounds familiar to you? Another thing is that, I also get sad when colors look amazing in the tube, but then let too much of your natural lip tone show through.
It really coats your lips and hydrates them, and stays on really well. Somehow, the muted berry with the satin and a nice mauve feels modern all of a sudden—everything old is new again!—and it really flatters, in a late ’80s sort of way. Am I crazy? 😛
I’ll be doing lots of color swatches and reviews in the next coming posts.
I love a product that gets to work and blend easily, especially if it requires minimal effort on my part (yes, I’m IMPATIENT) lol!
On its website it says this luxuriously silky powder blush glides on with its own brush to color and contour for a flawless application every time. I’m intrigued to try and let me tell you, I love the soft, sheer color that’s very natural but gives a hint of glimmer. Love it!
It’s available in six beautiful shades for $C40.50 sold separately in case you’re curious.
Do you like the look of this blush from Lancôme ?
I got here lots of packet samples with my Lancôme purchases. I’ve started trying some and here are my thoughts and opinion.
Clarins – I liked these beauty flash balm, extra firming night cream and exfoliating cleanser, it’s got me interested in trying other Clarins skin care products in full size.
Shiseido – I don’t think I’ve ever used a Power Infusing Concentrate that hasn’t done its job and left my skin feeling smooth, soothing fresh and smells amazing. This is no exception.
IDC – This costs like a million dollars and I’ve used better that cost 99% less. IDC is also a Canadian brand which is stepping up to skin care department recently.
Jouviance – I’ve been curious about Jouviance skincare line as I love Canadian brand, but this had a tendency to cause me breakout. Bummer! I’ve sensitive skin and I can tell if the product cause me any breakout on the same day. But just to make sure I’m really sensitive to this Powerful Antioxidant Moisturizer, I tried it again the second day and I get the same result. So, I stop and confirm this isn’t working out for me.
Prada – for men. I love how my honey bear smells wearing Prada eau de toilette. Aahhh!!! So sporty, makes me want to hug him even more LOL! A perfect gift for your love ones this holiday season. Head over to Pharmaprix or Shoppers and ask for a tester sample. You’re going to make someone truly happy!
Total samples killed: All
It’s running between the 14th November and till stock lasts and would make a lovely HOLIDAY Gift for any Lancôme fan. HEAD over to your nearest Pharmaprix or Shoppers Drug Mart and ask for this special promotion. Don’t forget to use your Optimum card to load your points. I got 20x points when I spent $75.00 at the beauty section. So yay!
I wanted to do a shout out to beauty team at Beauty Gallery Pincourt, Pharmaprix which I’ve been frequenting. The sales promoters are very friendly and helpful. I love shopping at Pharmaprix for their special sales and reward points It one of my favorite places to shop for beauty products and if you’re in that area, drop by and mention you read my blog. Also available at Pharmaprix, drugstores, Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM), Sephora, Lancôme online, Hudson Bay and drugstores.
I’ll be trying out all the products and will write reviews in the next coming posts.

Hey Lovelies! It’s Wednesday you guys and you know it’s time for my beauty collaboration post with my good friend Ingrid from CurlySpringBlossom to do a Top 3 Picks which this week calls for BLUSHES. I’m super excited to be sharing with you all guys my thoughts and opinions on these beautiful blushes that deserves some applause.
These blushes are my top 3 picks for May simply because of the color shades, texture and rich pigmentation and let’s not forget how cute the packagings are.
Coralista by Benefitis an incredible blush to have. It goes on pinky coral toned with beautiful pigmentation. I love the scents, it’s just so freaking amazing. This is the perfect shade to wear in summer. The blush is both beautiful on the box packaging and on your skin. Coralista gives you a sweet summery flush that allows you to go back for more. IMO this is a perfect shade for all skin tones. I highly recommend this blush to anyone and I will repurchase again and again.
I did a review on Mac Sheertone Blush in Spring Sheen not too long ago. I’ve put a link here of the full review.
I couldn’t say enough how amazing this blush is. I love the soft shimmery finish and the color payoff is awesome. It has super silky texture and it apply extremely well. If you’re planning for an evening out, don’t forget to wear Sheertone blush for some beautiful shimmer .
We’re down to the last blush which is the Instain Blush by theBalm in Lace. This blush has a soft and creamy texture. Highly pigmented and if you love bright pink toned blush with matte finish then you’re going to love this one. If you love an adorable sturdy cardboard packaging like this one with gorgeous shade then it’s double the cuteness.
I love the matte finishing and I don’t see that this pink is too bright on me. I’m in a medium skin tone as I get more sunshine and I’m happy that this blush makes my cheek looks healthy and not too dull. Full review on previous Instain blushes, click here.
So, here are the three color swatches from my Top 3 Picks – Blushes. Which one is your pick? Hope you enjoy this post as much as I love sharing them with all of you.
Don’t forget to hop over to CurlySpringBlossom blog where she has some amazing blushes to share with you too. We had so much fun with this collaboration but due to some personal commitments from both sides we decided to take a break for now and hopefully to resume back again in the Fall.
So, in the meantime the Top 3 Picks Beauty Collab will be replaced by my Madness Wednesday starting next week.

Well if you do, then continue reading …
I got thisOPI Nail Lacquer in NL E76 MY Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours Classics. Net Wt: 0.5 fl oz. I absolutely love this color and I’m wearing it now. It’s almost a week now and there is only a tiny color fading. I didn’t put any top coat and it lasted. I’m impressed! On this look, I’m applying one coat and the formula goes on very easily. It gives a creme finish look and the tone is of red-orangy. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. Oh yes, did I mentioned that I paid $9.99 for two bottles of this OPI nail lacquers? That’s a steal! I picked them at Winners (Canadian Retail Stores) and the other bottle that comes together as a set is the glittery one below.
I have this OPI Nail Lacquer in NL M80 Gaining Mole-mentum in shredded gold and chunky pink glitters. This comes in a clear base and you can wear it on its own or top it on other nail colors. I love how it looks on its own. This formula dries in seconds and it gives a lovely shine without top coat on.
Combination of My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours with Gaining Mole-mentum you’ll get a glam and sizzling colors. Pretty don’t you think!
Okay the next is the Revlon Nail Enamel in Fearless. I picked this up from Walmart when it was on special. I remembered paying less than $4.00 for this Fearless. Love the color and I’m all about red polish today. There are 72 trendy colors to choose from. It’s available online on Revlon website or at any drugstores.
So, there you have it my Top 3 picks on the nail polish that I’m obsessed with right now. Do you know that Red is the most extreme and powerful color on earth, according to Color Matters. There you go, wear some red … you are POWERFUL!

Until next week, stay beautiful! Have a great week.
It’s time for my weekly Tell ’em Wednesday collaboration post and this week I’ll be talking about beauty products which I picked up from Walmart recently. This is a collaboration blog with my lovely friend, Ingrid from CurlySpringBlossom. I’ll put her link below so don’t forget to check out her blog after this.
I picked this Live Clean Trial and Travel Kit for $7.97 at Walmart. This product is eco friendly as claimed by Live Clean. All the products inside this kit is for facial clean.
In case you’re planning on going for a trip this summer this travel set has all that you need while you’re 10,000 feet above ground. They’re all nicely packed in a travel size packaging. Initially, I got this for my daughter who will be travelling to Japan but looking at how cute these samples are I caved in to give these a try 😛
There are four sample size products in this travel kit. You got the Foaming Daily Cleanser, Smoothing Daily Moisturizer, Facial Scrub and Daily Serum. All these beauty products contains 98% plant derived from botanical orchids. Okay, let’s get started.
First up is the Daily Moisturizer in 30 ml. This is a lightweight moisturizer that quenches thirst. It’ll leave your skin soft and moist. Oh yes and I’m feeling the cool formula as I apply them on skin. It gives a nice sensation of freshness. I always tend to smell skin care products more than makeup. And I don’t scent any particular strong scents in this product. It’s has a mild fresh scents and that was it. This moisturizer is infused with orchid extracts and Vit C that calm and soothe your skin.
Next is the Daily Serum which everyone must have, in my opinion. This tube comes in a net wt: 30 ml. I noticed that this Daily Serum is light and has a nice soothing scents which I like. It does have a calming effect on me. Having tried it for the past few nights have proof positive results. It suppose to make your complexion looking radiant . Once I’ve finish this sample size, away I go to get the regular size tube.
Third is the Facial Scrub which has some tiny grain of beads for scrubbing purposes. The texture is brownish in color. The grain are from the corn cobs which is gentle to your skin. I used it the past one week and so far I like it. I always love doing my facial scrub twice a week and I notice the massaging technique helps blood circulation on my skin. It leaves skin feeling calm and relax Zzzzzzz!!!
Last but not least is the Daily Cleanser in 30 ml. This bottle comes with a pump applicator which is easy to use. You can easily pump out the foam cleanser with the applicator. It reminds me of the hair mousse formula very much. I don’t find any strong scents at all and it does its job to clean pores by removing excess oil, makeup and skin impurities.
To sum up, I do like this travel kit by Live Clean. This is my first purchase for this brand and I’m glad I tried it on the sample size aka travel kit before splurging into regular size bottles. Overall, I would say this is an average decent skincare products. This is a basic skincare products for a quick fix to clean and moisturize while you’re travelling.
If you are environmentally conscious and love Live Clean products, I encourage you to visit their website or Walmart to view their skincare line.
So, there you have it my two cents on this Live Clean facial travel kit. By the way, head over to Curlyspringblossom where she will be reviewing her Stila CC color correcting stick. A quick reminder, don’t forget to stay tuned until next week for a new and exciting topic. It’s a surprise!
Thank you all for the loves.

That’s why I’m pairing with my good blogger friend Ingrid from Curlyspringblossom to do our first Blogger’s Collaboration. So, be sure to give her a visit after your done visiting here. I’ll put her link below. I trust her opinion for a collaborative post. Therefore we have decided to do this together on a weekly basis – meaning every Wednesday at 10.00am we will post our Tell ’em Wednesday! In this post and the following week, we will be sharing with you our drugstore beauty products with a price tag of $5 to $10. So, let’s roll 😀
Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Eyeshadow Palette ($4.78) is an earth toned palette that consists of eight eyeshadows.
Okay, I’ve heard raves about this Wet n Wild eyeshadow palette on youtube and from many beauty bloggers and I was over the moon when I saw it at my local Walmart. Yipee!! So, I picked this palette and went home happy with my Wet n Wild Eyeshadow palette in tow.
Among the three palettes available at the counter, I picked Comfort Zone in 738 simply because I love the shades in warm neutral and earthly tone the most – out of the other two palettes there. Sorry guys, I just need one for now. But I promise to come back for more once I try it. Below are the three palettes I saw at Walmart. The palette on the left is Petal Pusher (mostly purple) and bottom one is Poster Child (bright and vibrant). Each palette net wt: 0.30 oz.
There are two columns in this palette. Please bear with me, for I’ll been saying the word palette, palette for like a thousand times in this post:P
Browbone : Warm beige
Eyelid: Rosy copper
Crease: Medium-dark golden brown
Definer: Dark burgundy with subtle red-undertones
Browbone : Dirty Grey Pewter
Eyelid: Parsley Green with a golden sheen
Crease: Charcoal brown with a pearly sheen
Definer: Red brown with a teal duochrome and frosted finish
The color payoff is simply out of this world. It’s extremely pigmented and with its creamy soft texture. It’s so amazing that I can’t stop loving this palette. Oh my Comfort Zone! Except for the green and chocolate brown shades that gives a sheer finish. Otherwise, they’re smooth, soft and blendable.
I didn’t encounter any fallout residue or fading the whole time I was wearing it. I’m super happy with this purchase and will definitely go back for more. I will confidently recommend this to my family and friends. For only $4.78 a palette, nothing beats its quality and value. So, if you haven’t pick this Wet n Wild Color icons eyeshadow palette, I highly recommend it.
Now, what do you think of this palette? Will you be picking one palette or all of ’em? Love to hear your comments. Now, head over to curlyspringblossom and check out what she has for you.
As always, thank you so much for taking the time to read. Until next Tell ’em Wednesday, stay beautiful!
