Hey guys! Welcome back to Tester Wednesday. It has been a while since I talked about Makeup Revolution (MUR) beauty products. I ordered a few palettes online a few months ago and had been putting all these goodies on the back burner. Well, better late than never right!
So, today I thought I’ll share my first impression review on this beautiful palette. This palette is quite special because it was created in collaboration with Jane Cunningham.

This is her palette that she’s been working on with Makeup Revolution and had finally launched it last March.

This palette retails for £9.99 which is a great price value for a drugstore brand. Why did I say that? Continue reading and you’ll find out why.

Let’s talk about packaging for a second. It comes in a matte gold which makes it look much more luxurious and houses 30 eyeshadows, large mirror which I really appreciate and a simple dual-ended eyeshadow brush.

This is a 30 pan palette. I really love the color selections she created. The shadows are for everyone, irrespective of age or tone according to Jane.
I like that she added four baked eyeshadows in the mist of all these amazing color shadows. They’re super pigmented and very metallic. Looks so pretty all over the lids. Love love this!

Here’s what you’ll find in Fortune Favors The Brave palette. You got light sheen and mattes, metallic bursts of color heading through to the darkest shades of black, plum and navy.

All the shades have names which are printed on a plastic sheet. Nope! I’m not complaining at all, I like to see that effort being pour in naming these shadows. Win in my book!
I’m most excited to show all these gorgeous color swatches down below. All swatches are with one swipe directly from pan without primer.

Row 1: Glimmer, Buffer, Peachy, Hope, Fortune, Skylight, Transformer, Midnight Rainbow – the middle Hope and Fortune are my favorite shades

Row 2: Ice Cloud, Golden Coins, Cashmere, Tip Top, Green Machine, Smoothie

Row 3: Caffeine Fix, Latte, Pink Diamond, Creme, Drama Queen, Lonely Planet, Blacqua.

Row 4: Soft, New World, Favour, Sunset Hour, Super Gold, Winning, Brave, The Revolution – and at the end Winning, Brave and The Revolution are also some of my favorite shades in this palette .

Here’s a quick eye look I created.
The overall quality of the eyeshadows is good. There are some less pigmented shades like Glimmer, Peachy, Midnight Rainbow, Tip Top, Smoothie, Latte, Crème, Soft and Pink Diamond which require a bit more work and building up to get a desire intensity. Other shades are smooth and well pigmented. They’re easy to blend and they stay all day without bulging on eyeshadow base I wore for this first impression review.
I highly recommend it if you’re on the market for an affordable and good quality product from a drugstore brand. Overall, I’m quite impressed with the wear time and happy with the look. It performs well and I got nothing bad to say about this palette honestly. It’s a versatile palette that would look gorgeous for anyone.
I love that MUR is accessible to everyone on price point with no loss on quality. Best thing is that you can get this at Amazon, ebay, Ulta and Superdrug stores.
So what do you think of the ‘Fortune Favours The Brave’ palette? Comment what you think. I love to hear from you.
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog. I hope to see you all again on my next post. Stay tuned for more popped up makeup products which I’m so excited to show you guys. Bye!
