Question Tuesday – Holiday Wisdom 2016

Hey guys! When I started the Question Tuesday topic a year ago, I had no idea what the response might be. I’m so grateful to so many of you who make this Question Tuesday more fun with all the comments I received. A huge thanks to everyone!

As year 2016 is coming to a close, I thought it would be fun to just enjoyed the coming special holiday seasons!

So, here are a few questions I got for you:

Q1: Are you pro/con on store bought bows on presents? Prefer the hand tied ones? I’m going to say pro. I always believe on the finishing touch so IMO bows are like icing on the cake.

Q2: What is the latest you’ve ever hit the stores to get that one last gift? I haven’t experienced it yet since I usually finished all my holiday shopping the week of Black Friday.

Q3: Favorite store to shop in? I would say Sephora online and Winners

Q4: If stores offered (or offer) wrapping at a $1 a package, would that be something you’d pay for? $2?, $3, where’s the line?  Or do you all enjoy wrapping? Well, I love present wrapping so I’ll save a couple of bucks doing it by myself.

Q5: What would be a piece of wisdom you learned over this year of 2016 to share here?  Keep going until you see the light at the end of the tunnel …Wisdom comes from living.

Hope you’ve enjoyed reading this post and please share how you celebrate this coming festive season.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you’ve a lovely week. [muah]

Welcome back to Babes in Blogland Collab blogmas where I teamed up with a three good friends to share our Christmas holiday specials. I have a marvelous time collaborating with Stashy from Stash Matters, Kaily from Hello Kaily and Ingrid from Curly Spring Blossom.

Today’s post isn’t not my usual Beauty Post but rather special just for the HOLIDAY. It’s not material things that one can touch but more of what’s in the inside. “THE SPIRIT”

I’m going to talk about my favorite past X’mas gifts and this gets me thinking of the movie A Christmas Carol” .

The best part of the movie were obviously the three Ghosts of Christmas Past”. In my opinion, one has to learn from the past, live in the present, to leap to the future. It’s definitely not once a one year thingy but one has to embrace it. To share good food and good tidings to everyone near or far.

Hence, I’m sharing here with all of you, my Favorite Past X’mas Gifts: Hope you’d liked it and let’s all be reminded of our Christmas Past!

Don’t forget to head over to BABES IN BLOGLAND. They have some interesting favorites to share too.

Happy Wednesday Friends!

This is the time of the year to have brought forth the SPIRIT of sharing and giving. A few weeks ago my son came back from school with a form to participate in the city hall community centre where each child pledge a donation of $90.00 to the products for the fundraising. The community centre planned to put smart board and they need community funding.

Today, he came home with a bag of goodies worth $90.00 of hot chocolate, coffee, tea and more tea. We need to help sell each product for $5.00 as provided by Humeur.

Each bag contain an assortment of tea bags and leaves (green, fruit, Earl grey, rooibos) and tea bags in (peppermint, chamomile), hot chocolates (185 g) and bags of coffee (150 g) (brown moka – black java, colombian, house blend).

The coffee smells heavenly and my favorite is the Colombian medium roasted coffee beans.

Here are the pictures taken that I’m excited to share with all of you. The lighting wasn’t the best but hope you’ve enjoyed reading this post just the same.

Have you get in the Christmas Spirit already? I love to hear your comments.

Thanks as usual for taking the time to read and hope to see you again on the next one 🙂

4) Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick – another amazing lipstick from Revlon after the Super Lustrous Matte Lipsticks. For a drugstore brand lipstick, I’m truly impressed and in love with Revlon’s lipsticks. For a reasonable price range and good quality products that’s wearable and durable. It might not be available yet in many places but don’t sweat it, it’s not a limited edition and will be made a permanent collection in Revlon’s counter.

Well, we may not be basking under the sun at the Malibu beach but hey we still got these toppings to show how elegant it is.
