Sugar Box Review, Photos & Swatch

This is my first SUGAR BOX Eyeshadow Palette (US$7.99)from ebay, and I’ll admit I was a bit skeptic at first. But there was a week when I found myself always reaching out for this palette when I’m doing my makeup. I got this for the holiday and I’m totally in love with this palette.

Let’s jump right in, shall we!

Sugar Box Natural Eye Makeup

The eyeshadow palette I got is in Natural Eye Makeup #03. Here’s a summary of this product:

  • Contain 10 pretty color shadows for different neutral look
  • In this palette there are four matte and six shimmering jewel finish shadows
  • Packed with nice versatile shade selection.
  • These are warm undertones shades that looks pretty amazing on the palette
  • Nicely pigmented color with smooth & silk texture ❤
  • Love the packaging

  • Would be great if they name their palettes instead of by # numbers. Less confusing
  • Some shadows I noticed to be a bit tardy on fall out

Let me elaborate more of this product.

Eyeshadow placement from left to right: the first six shadows are shimmery while the last four are matte finish.

I was so excited! I did the color swatch upon opening the package. Here’s the color swatch on bare arm (meaning with eye primer or base). Guys, what you see is what you get. These shadows stay true to its colors.

Beautiful color selection by Sugar Box

As far as the packaging goes, the size of the palette is small and sleek enough for travel and has a good size mirror with a decent duo eyeshadow brush which you could actually use if you want to.

The pigmentation on these eyeshadows are quite impressive for the price. They’re not the best but it does give you a good color payoff with a good primer or base on. I also noticed that they’re long wearing and doesn’t budge.

Color swatch on bare arm

The matte formula are unbelievably buttery and smooth. For the price, I consider this eyeshadow palette to be a pretty good buy. It has what you need and it does the job right. I will repurchase this again. I’m in love with the smooth texture and the neutral shades are just amazing.

Overall Rating: 4 out 5

Glossy Girly By Elf |REVIEW

ELF is by far the most inexpensive beauty products and loved by many makeup lovers.

I’m not quite a lip gloss person myself but I sure love the price. For $7.00 you get three pretty lip gloss in the shades of red, pink and plum.

The Lip gloss Super Glossy Lip Shine by ElfThese make your lips feel so smooth and it tastes great. This lip gloss has different fruity taste depending on the shades. Honestly, I’m not a big fan of the lip gloss but the colors DOES look right up my alley judging from the transparent tube packaging.

elf lip gloss

This lip gloss gives a nice glossy finish but I felt it was thick in formula with a slight feeling of tackiness. I’m don’t feel comfortable wearing lip products that makes my lips feels heavy and gunky. I also noticed that the Plum color lip gloss doesn’t have the color intensity I would have expected. They have delicious scents and taste but sadly I’m not “wow” by these 😦

This is a decent deal price wise if you like elf lip gloss product! I want to like them but it just failed to  impress me. So, I’ll not repurchase this again. I’ll give these away.

Best Hits and Oh Hell NO! Elf Eyeshadow

I haven’t been doing a lot of monthly favorites and regrets for awhile and I won’t be doing it now. Instead, I’ll be doing weekly series of Best Hits and Oh Hell NO! Note that it will continue after Next year. Don’t forget to follow more exciting post coming up next year.

by source
by source

So, let’s start with a positive post today with the Best Hits!

by source
by source

You know that I’m an eyeshadow palette junkie, right? I mean, if you follow me on Facebook or if you have been following my blog, you already know that I’m completely smitten and drool over when it comes to palettes.

I love all makeup, but if I had to pick a favourite beauty item it would definitely be eyeshadow palettes. ELF Cosmetics has released a holiday gift set that is the mother-load of eyeshadow collections! I love that Elf’s jumping on the huge palette trend in the best possible way. So YAY!

In this ELF All About Nude contains 32 shadows palette, two eyeshadow brushes and an eye primer. The theme is called Play Beautifully! Limited EDITION!

I got a beautiful ALL ABOUT NUDE palette set for myself this Christmas for $CAD15.00. Yes, I love my eyeshadow, I adore makeup and obsessed with palettes. I’m super delighted, it feels like a dream to grab a limited edition palette.

From smokey colours to super wearable nudes this set has something for everyone. I’ve used and tried Elf products before and it’s my first time trying a huge eyeshadow palette. Honestly, I don’t know why I waited so long!

I find it’s conveniently packaged into one festive set.with the inside you’ll see all the 32 eyeshadows AMAZING COLORS.. This palette was for CAD$15.00 at our local grocer, MAXI. I was taken by double surprises, FIRST to pick this gorgeous palette and TWO it’s available locally NOW.

It’s not easy finding well pigmented good color selection  eyeshadows, especially for an affordable price. For $15.00 a set, I definitely think is a good deal because they’re so smooth and pigmented. But some colors are better than the others. Apart from that, they’re also cruelty-free.

elf color swatches

Look at these color swatches without eye primer nor eye base. The eyeshadows stay true to colors on my hand from pan. Also, color payoff is quite nice.

The formula is pigmented and smooth, which makes it easy to work on and to blend. I couldn’t find any reason not to love this all about nude. It has good color selection and I’m so glad I grabbed it.

First off, I love the packaging, curved tube with the beige band is very sleek, definitely something I’m happy to see from a eyelid primer! I have no issues holding it in my hand or applying. And the applicator is of doe shape. Nothing not to love about this primer.

The formula is soft and the formula applies very well. It’s definitely not tacky but feel creamy to touch.

Instruction at the back of the packaging asked that you leave the primer until it dries before applying the eyeshadows. I know the fact that with eye base, you want to apply shadows before the formula dries to lock the shadows in. There is no right or wrong way.

Next, I didn’t get only one eyeshadow brush but two. Elf has some good brushes to keep in my collection.

I’m so obsessed with this limited edition that ELF comes out with this Holiday season. I’m really speechLESS. Love, LOVE this set.

Limited edition products usually go out fast. If you see this on Elf website or at your local drugstore, Target, pick one for yourself and another for your best friend.

Final question is, do I recommend them? Highly. For me, this palette is absolute must-haves! You seriously have to try it for the price and quality you’d get. That’s it for today’s BEST Hits. I’ll be right back with more beauty posts… on the next one. Stay Tuned for more!

It’s Mountain Calling !

It’s almost winter here in Canada with Christmas just around the corner and that means it’s the perfect time of the year to go out and shop for yourself and your loved ones. I love to go to the malls and or drugstores to look for some new Holiday collection or any special deals. We all love to do that..don’t we ?

And..Pharmaprix is one of my favorite drugstores to get my hands on some cool stuff. I start my Christmas shopping quite early and I still have some I didn’t cross out yet. I was just checking on my usual obsession “Eyeshadow Palettes” when I saw this Mountain Calling Eyeshadow Palette by Essence.

I could not resist myself from buying it because, a) It was a limited edition palette which is only for winter b)It was for only $4.99 and for 6 eyeshadows. Awesome !! Right?

The packaging is what gravitates me in the first place. The ski lodge and the ski mountain design reminds me of the coming ski season. Oh! how adorable the packaging is. It comes in a cardboard material with a magnetic closure with a pop out ski lodge. How cool is that!

Texture wise, I really love it. It feels creamy, pigmented, smooth with amazing color payoff. Six satiny eyeshadow shades in shimmer:

Right to left:  pearl, soft beige, light brown, forest green, winter blue, and charcoal grey. Includes  sponge eyeshadow applicator.

The verdict- Essence Mountain Calling Palette is an affordable palette which is ideal for creating subtle and defined eye looks. The wintery shades will cater almost all the skin-tones viz fair, medium and dark. I’ve other color shadows that works beautifully when mixed together.

The above swatches are on bare skin with just one line swipe, picked up directly with my fingers from the pan. Look how so pretty the pigmentation and texture. I’m falling head over heels for this.

These are non-chalky, decently pigmented, non-irritant, blend-able, silky smooth and last for 4+ hours on primed lids without creasing. Lighter shades need layering to show up but these are workable. You can use this palette on its own as well as with other shimmery colors to create a plethora of eye makeup looks.

This is 100% recommended. For $4.99 I say go for it girl. Totally worth trying it OUT. This one is a winner in my book. Don’t walk, run to your nearest drugstores for this great value palette. What are you waiting for … Mountain Calling!

Have you seen this limited edition palette by Essence? If yes what do you think of it? I would love to hear your comments.

Be sure to visit other BABES IN BLOGLAND . You got to check their blog post for Blogmas Day 13.

Thanks as usual for taking the time to read.

EPIC Haul Snag $3.00 And Under – Joe Fresh

Hello Everyone! Since it’s only a week to the biggest holiday season and subsequent haulage, I’d better write about it, huh? I grabbed a few random items which are not my usual products to write if you scroll down. Another SALE Items! Whahahaha!

But you know if you’ve been following my blog that I rave a lot on Joe Fresh because the quality and products are exceptional for the price range. I’ve been seeing a few products popping out at some Pharmaprix recently. I just want to point it out that  by mid 2016, you’ll see more of Joe Fresh beauty line available at Shoppers or Pharmaprix (in Quebec) and Loblaws.

Let me repeat this, all these products here are CAD$3.00 and under after an epic sale. I couldn’t be happier when the cashier ring up the total damage to be only CAD$9.12 instead of CAD$42.00. Discount on discount, that’s so AMAZING! My pocket is happy 🙂

Yep, I’m jumping on the Nail Strips train. I’ve never tried any nail strips before and didn’t care a lot for it. But I’ve read and seen the trend and I’m curious to try these.

As soon as I saw these little cute color strips, I knew I was in for something new and exciting. Look at those strips!

These is the only item that doesn’t have discount on discount. But still a 50% off sale price.  I’ll going to try them on Christmas Eve.

Very soft brush and I like that it has a short handle for easier control when applying products. This Kabuki brush was at liquidated price of $2.94 with another 30% off.  So I’m delighted.

Flat top kabuki brush. Good precision for buffing blushes.

Joe Fresh Kabuki Brush? Gold. I can see why so many loves it!

I think I’m addicted to eyeshadow brush now. I grabbed this because of the small brush tip, I didn’t have any from Joe Fresh and it one is on sale! Regular price is CAD$8 and I paid CAD$1.36.

I really like this transparent handle brush. I got this for a great steal. It’s soft and works perfectly when blending shadows.

Nail scissor is what I’ve been searching for while. Honestly, wouldn’t pay $8.00 for it but with the discounted price. I couldn’t say no, right!

Very comfortable handle to ho;d and it’s sharp enough to do what it’s supposed to do.

Well, that’s it for this week’s epic snag and hope to see you again on the next one.

For the rest of all the Blogmas post, here are the Babes In Blogland you must visit:

Have you tried any of these products? Done any hauling lately? Let me know! I so want to hear your comments in the comment section.

3 Colors Eyeshadow by LA Colors|Review & EOTD

la color eyesgadow trio

I did mentioned in my previous post that I’ll be trying out some of the products from the mini beauty haul a week ago. So, I’ve tried them and I love to share my thoughts and opinion on this particular item from LA Colors.

I purchased this from Miss A online store and I’m happy with my purchase.  I’m going to talk about this 3 Color Eyeshadow in Dandelion by LA Colors for $1.00. Net wt: 0.19 oz. Oh yes, I paid $1.00 only for this eyeshadow and that’s a no brainer.

la colors swatches

Yes, these three expertly coordinated shades can be worn alone or together to create a array of looks. Complete with dual ended applicator in this chic palette.

Amazing pigmentation and the color payoff is insane. The formula feels creamy to touch and oh boy, it blend so well. Color swatch on bare hand and the shades are true to its color. Love it! Love it! There are 12 beautiful flower name options on their website but this shades speak to me the loudest.

The order in the palette: Pastel Yellow (satin matte), Rustic  Bronze (shimmer) and Deep Forest Green (shimmer) from left to right.

fall eotd look

I tried using the three shades available in this palette and I love the finish look very much. These color swatches were close to what you see in this eye makeup. So yay for that!

Also available at Target selected stores or drugstores or Dollar stores. LA Colors is a cruelty free  makeup brand.

Hope you liked this one!

Have you tried any LA Colors makeup products? If yes, which one. Don’t forget to leave your comment. I love to read and hear your comments.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read. Stay Beautiful!

Ipsy Glam Bag For May – Unbagged

Ipsy Glam Bag for May 2015

It’s the time of the month again, and no – don’t worry it’s not PMS but exciting time to reveal what’s in my this month’s Ipsy Glam Bag! I really enjoy my April’s bag and let me tell you, this month’s glam bag is even better. I don’t only like but love all the samples I got here. Let’s just say that, I’m drawn into this conditioning spray too. Hey, who wouldn’t want to try a conditioning spray, right!

Alrighty, let the unbagging begins:-

ipsy bag

I’ll start with this awesome lip gloss from Urban Decay. Oh yeah!!!

Revolution High Color LipGloss by Urban Decay (Weight: 0.8 g) Valued for $22.00 the regular size tube. I shade I got is Failbait and Bittersweet. This cute sample packaging looks like the size of M&M except a little much bigger.

This Revolution High Color lipgloss comes in 14 lovely shades of plum, brown and pink. It claims to defines and hydrates lips while making them look plumper and fuller. The shades are insanely intense with high shine. On me, I find that it’s a little heavy on lips and slightly tacky. This lipgloss also has high-coverage and the formula is super-pigmented. I just love how amazing the shades are and the finish look is fabulous. With just one coat your lips will look awesomely sexy and glossy. The shade I tried today, is the Bittersweet. It’s a fun purple shade and I really like how the finishing lips feels. It’s like I’m wearing a lipstick with lip gloss on – only with one application. That’s super cool! I have sandwich for lunch and when I checked again, I still have a pretty lip stain on lips 😀

Available in regular size for $22 a tube at Urban Decay website with 14 insanely intense colors to wear this summer.

Urban Decay Lip pencil

I also received this Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on lip pencil valued for $20.00 which shake my heart. This is so crazy, I’m just so excited with this month’s ipsy bag. Oh my gosh! I got Ozone (which is a milky white shade that I love). I’m trying out to do another ombre lips and I can’t wait to try this bad boy. A full review will be up with the ombre look once I’ve tried it. This 24/7 Glide on lip pencil comes in 17 pretty shades for you to select and you simply can’t go wrong with any.

BellaPierre Cosmetics Waterproof Mineral Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Ebony (Weight: 0.06 fl oz) and valued for $14.99. You can use the promo code: IPSYMAY2015 to get 15% discount on your purchase.

I says here on the box packaging that this gel eyeliner is formulated with Pure 100% mineral, natural waxes and anti oxidants. The texture is super creamy and intense pigmentation. It glides effortlessly on lash lines and the smooth application makes for an amazing coverage. I wore it the whole day yesterday and it didn’t budge or faded. So, in my opinion when a mineral gel eyeliner is waterproof, it’ll definitely be smudge-free!

The downside of this eyeliner is that you’ll need sharpener when the time comes. I notice that the formula feels like of kohl pencil. I really love this shade which is in Ebony black. It makes eyes more pop and a perfect eyeliner to do a cat eye look.

St. Tropez One Night Only Instant Glow Body Lotion (Weight: 50ml) and valued for $9.00 now on special discount.

This lightweight tinted lotion smoothes on to give you an instant natural-looking golden tan that will wash off whenever you choose. If you are like me and love to save some money, you can get 25% off if you use this promo code: IPSY25 when ordering.

Don’t be shocked by the color when you squeeze the lotion out. This body lotion might look like poop-y but it smells amazing. When applied on hand it feels smooth and relaxing. The formula absorbs quickly into skin and it’s not sticky at all. My skin sure does look more tan but I don’t see any obvious glow. This is an incredible product to wear for the summer if you ‘re looking to get some tan.

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ is my wish come true. I’ve always wanted a higher SPF cream for my skin and I’m thrilled with the thought of actually getting one. I’m super excited and I can’t to wait to wear it on even under the scorching sun of 90F since SPF 50+ is considered high. Yay! Thank you Ipsy for this IT CC+ Cream ❤ sample.

You can use promo code IPSY20 to get a further discount of 20% off order of$25 or more. This product is valued for $38.00 in regular size. It’s available in 5 pretty shades. It’s give full coverage for redness or blemishes or even uneven skin tone.

I got my CC cream in Medium shade and I’m so going to try it out now. Oh my goodness! The scent is so super amazing. I’m in love ❤

Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray (Weight: 1.0 oz)

It says here behind the bottle that it nourish, repair and renew. It contains vitamin E to provide moisture and rosehip, argan and coconut oils to strengthen and protect against breakage. I’m more intrigued by the fact that you don’t have to rinse out after spraying this conditioner. I’m curious to find out and will report back.

When I spray it on hand it notice that it’s not sticky or creamy like a normal conditioner but more of a hair spray. It smells amazing. Very flowery scents that absorbs quickly. Oh my goodness!!!You really have to try this fresh scents. I’m loving the scents already.

ipsy glam bag -May

For those of you who are new to Ipsy, click here for more detailed information. By the way I get points if you use my link 😀 But basically. Ipsy bag is a monthly subscription beauty bag which includes 4-5 deluxe samples for US resident is US$10.00 with free delivery. Canadian must pay $4.95 for shipping and taxes. You can cancel your subscription anytime. If you’re not ready to sign up their monthly bag, you can still order using the promo code given to you to order.

So, my conclusion for this May’s glam bag is I’m loving it. They’re just an awesome bag to have in my opinion for just US$10.00 a month.

I personally feel that this Ipsy monthly glam bag is getting better as the months proceeded . Makes me want to look forward to what’s in my next month’s bag 😛

Whew!!! I thought I’ve been talking non stop on this. But anyways, a full review of all the products will be posted once I’ve tried them thoroughly. For more updates of my upcoming posts, just follow me on facebook, twitter, bloglovin’ and instagram. I love chatting and connecting with you.

April 2015 Empties

In my previous I did mentioned that I generally finishes up my skin care or hair products faster than my makeup products, and that’s the honest truth. Many of you may know my makeup stashes by now but if you are new to this post then believe me, I don’t think I can finish them in another few more years. Seriously, if you are a beauty blogger and obsessed with makeup you’ll probably understand what I’m saying.

So, no surprises here, I’ll be sharing some of my hair and skin care products on this month’s empties. So, lets roll:-

I tried taking these in my bathroom to set the mood but clearly the lighting is not the greatest, sad to say that today is going to be the last day for all these products to say adieu  😦

Estee Lauder Gentle Eye Makeup Remover for all skin type. I love love love this makeup remover that I still keep some  for next time. The rest of the empties I’ll throw but this one I’ll keep in my vanity. I’ll be able to set my ballpark for future references. Will I repurchase? I will definitely repurchase i and it’s already in my birthday wishlist 🙂

The Body Shop Pure Detox Rejuvenating Bath Soak. This bottle is has the natural purifying ingredient such as wasabi and mineral-rich Community Trade Bladderwrack seaweed which works to revive your body after a refreshing soak. It’s time to get back what the day took out by soaking yourself in this wonderful Pure Detox. You totally deserve to pamper yourself in. I’ve already put up my order for a second bottle online.

St Ives Purify Exfoliating Body Wash is one of my household brand. Sorry to show you the sad state that this exfoliating body wash has been through. Well, this body wash does exfoliate my body very well and yes, will repurchase when they’re on special. Usually, I grabbed two or three at one go.

Pure Divine Moisturizing Body Wash is moisturizing but I prefer body wash that has lots and lots of foam. It does feel moisturize but lack the feeling of clean and fresh after each shower. I love body wash that leaves a fresh scents on my skin. So, Pure Divine is a product that didn’t intrigued me to reach out for it. So, will not repurchase.

Pantene Moisture Renewal Conditioner for Normal -Thick hair. You will me using a lot of Pantene products since I’ve been using this brand for a long time. I’ve tried many different brands but always come back to Pantene. So, I guess I’m a hard core Pantene fan 🙂 I’ve thick black hair and this condition doesn’t make my hair feels oily. It leaves hair soft and silky. Will definitely repurchase.

No 7 Lift & Luminate Night Cream. I did a review on this product a while ago and the link is attached if you like to read more about it. So, I finally finished up my night cream (sob!). I’m very happy with No 7 night cream that I recommend you to try it too. It’s gentle to skin and I noticed the difference after four weeks of using this night cream. My skin looks more clearer and the skin imperfection is reduced. I notice my skin looking brighter and softer. Yay! I will repurchase since it works on me 😀

So, there you have it some of my April’s 2015 Empties and hope you enjoyed reading it.

Which is your holy grail night cream? I love to hear from you and don’t forget to leave your comment below.

Thanks for stopping by.

April 2015 Favorites

As April month come to a close it makes me wonder how time flies. There is this saying “Time flies when you’re having fun” and I want to second that motion true heartedly. It has been a super busy month here but I’m so glad to be part of it 😀 No doubt, I’m anxiously looking forward for the month of May for an obvious reason. It’s my birth month and also Mother’s day. Hurray! I get to celebrate two special occasions.

But before biding adieu to April, I wanted to share some of my favorites with all of you. This month’s favorites are products that I always go back to and loving it <3. So, let’s get started:-

naked palette by UD
Naked Palette by Urban Decay

I really love and enjoy going back to my Naked 1 Palette by Urban Decay simply because these neutral shades are great and versatile to work with. I love the creamy and high pigmentation in this palette. I can’t speak for other beauty bloggers and beauty enthusiast but in my opinion I think Urban Decay Naked Palettes rocks!

I also have Naked 2 and 3 in my collection and Naked 1 is the palette which stole my heart. You may ask “if I actually need all three naked palettes?”Well, the answer is yes, in my case since I’m a sucker hen it comes to eyeshadow palettes. Like the children movie “Pokemon ! Got to collect them all (giggling)!” Back to the point, I’ve come across many palettes when making reviews but one particular favorite of all time is this Naked 1 palette by Urban Decay. If you want to read more I did an extensive review here.

Milani Liquid Eye Eyeliner Pencil
Milani Liquid Eye Eyeliner Pencil

Well, many of you may have known that Milani has managed to conquer my heart when it comes to cruelty free makeup which has no animal testing. Do you know what’s the hot trend in beauty? That’s going green and my interpretation stretches even further which includes eco-friendly and cruelty free. So, this liquid eye by Milani is my favorite eyeliner by far and I have been reaching for it ever since it glides on my lids graciously. This liquid eye liner is amazing in pigmentation, color and gentle to the eyes. Milani, you ROCK!

NYX Butter Kiss lippies
NYX Butter Kiss Lipstick

NYX Butter Kiss Lipstick is gorgeous. It has buttery and creamy texture that wow me over. The texture and semi-matte finish are just glorious. I’m a big fan of NYX products when it comes to quality and decent prices for a drugstore brand. This lipstick glide like a dream and it gives a lovely finish which I really adore. I got mine from Ipsy bag but you can find it at some local drugstores and online if you are outside of US.

NYX in Hunk
NYX in Hunk

To finish up the month, here is my favorite lip color from NYX which explain my point above. If you’re lusting for a beautiful kissable lips, head over to NYX and grab a few shades now. NYX products are not tested on animal which means it’s certified to be cruelty free.

Matching forward to May we go!

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Milani Makeup Cruelty Free|Swatches|Reviews

Hey gorgeous,

I’m back earlier than planned. In fact, I have posted one review yesterday. I miss you guys and I just have to kick start with my blogging as soon as I’m able to sit and type. It’s like the “Die Hard” movie.

Anyways, I really want to talk to you about these three makeup products that I have tried and here are my thoughts and opinion on each. Last Friday, I did a beauty haul and since I can’t wait any longer to try them I immediately dived into swatching the colors and here is my review.

A short announcement – Milani cosmetics is a cruelty free brand company. It does not test on animals according to PETA.

These are my beauty haul which I have posted and for convenience sake here are the products from previous post.

But since I’m only going to do Milani’s makeup review today, I have included all these lovely and amazing products which I will dig deeper into. I suggest that you continue to read to find out what makes Milani products to be my next favorite high street brand.

milani ;istick review

Well, I have been eyeing on Milani makeup line for a while and as strange as it may sound I just couldn’t get a hold of this brand where I live previously. But fortunately, I was in the moon and back when I found Milani at my new neighbourhood Walmart 😀

Oh!!! oh!!! I’m so excited that I can’t figure out how do I put this? Okay, let me start by saying that this Milani Color Statement comes in a golden lipstick packaging which I think is unique. I love how the transparent bottom able to show the exact shade to choose from.

This color statement lipstick is very pigmented with a matte finish. It feels creamy and it glide easily. The shade I chose was “Naturally Chic” and this color is neutral nude and natural looking for my lips. I feel pretty wearing it.  milani blush review

Oh my gosh! Just look at how stunning this baked blush is? For $9.88 only a pot I’m pretty sure I’ll be getting a few more shades for my collection. I got Corallina in 08 and I just love, love this blush. It’s so freaking pigmented and look at the color on swatch. It has a soft shimmer which is not completely matte finish but it’s not shinny. I only swipe once with my brush to pick up the formula and look at how insanely the color on my cheekbone was! I have to say this again, a little goes a long way with such incredible pigmentation. Ah..mazing!

It’s soft and smoothly blendable. I love the packaging too. It pretty and cute. Inside the second tier is a round mirror and a semi-circle brush. I’m not so sure of the brush but the mirror is an asset for touch-up<3

milani face powder review

This Milani Illuminating Face Powder  in Hermosa Rose is lovely to look at and undoubtedly great as a bronzer and blush but less than a highlighter. I would say 85% spot on for a multi purpose product. I notice that the lighter shade in this pot doesn’t bring out the color as a highlighter. The rose-y tone blush and bronzer are pretty amazing.

This product is so pigmented and creamy that my heart is screaming with joy. I love the shade I picked and just can’t get enough of it. So, I will be going there for another round of “Beauty’s Touch” very soon. Oh dear! Did I forget to mention that the rose flowers design on this packaging is stunning and dang cute!

If you are looking for a cruelty free makeup products then look no further. You’ve come to the right place. Milani has an amazing collection of products that can’t stop to impress me. So, you rock Milani!

Is there any particular favorite products you like to share in the comment below?

Thank you for the love.

Unboxing Ipsy December Glam Bag ~ Thinking of You!

Hey beauties,

I got this in my mail box Friday and I’m excited to share what’s in my December Ipsy Bag as I unboxed. This month’s theme is about “Thinking of you” and I got several products which I know I will personally love on first sight.

So, without further delay, let’s dig in shall we?

The first item in the bag is the NYX Butter Lip Balm in Ladyfingers with a net wt: 0.14 oz. Available in eight decadent hues with a retail price of $4.00. I would love to have this lip butter on my lips this Christmas with my new Revlon gladiolus. I’m so ready right now! 😀

The next is the Crown Brush – Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet brush. Retail for $6.99. This brush is perfect for applying eyeshadow and contouring while the crease brush works for defining eyes.

Pixi Fairy Dust in Brightening Bare is here to elevate and transform eyes in a fairy few seconds. Retail for $10.00 at Target. It highlight eyes and cheeks for a soft focus glow. Available in six color shades. With this fairy dust in the December bag, it really strike the cord of reminding us what wishes are made of. Not enough of fairy dust, well there is still New Year remember!

Next in line is Tarte deluxe lights, camera, lashes 4 in 1 mascara. Retail for $7.69 in 0.10 oz while the regular size sells for $20.00, this is like a pushup bra but this time is for our lashes. It claims for lengthening, curling, volumizing, and conditioning the lashes.

Last but not least is the final product in the bag is the Coolway Boost Repair Treatment for hair (Net wt: 1.3 oz). Unfortunately, I have cut my hair short and I don’t think I will have split ends for now and never have. This product is retailed for $29.95 for 8 oz(regular size). I did my ipsy profile of not getting anything of hair nature but I still keep on receiving them. So, this is the setback for me. Well, it’s not the end of the world but I still love to get something that match my profile more.

Anyways, I will try the products above-mentioned except the boost repair mask treatment and will post my review in my next post.If you have any request for product review which you like me to do, please leave comment below. Otherwise, I will do my review based on the sequence on products I picked up.

If you are interested in getting what I got, head to Ipsy to check out their monthly subscription boxes for only $10 .00 a month with free shipping in the States. You can cancel anytime you like 🙂

What color lip butter balm you picked up recently from NYX?

So, thanks you very much for taking the time to read.

Bourjois Khol & Contour Eyeliner Pencil

Hey guys! Bourjois is a brand that I am a big fan of. I gave many positive reviews on their foundation and lipsticks and etc… and it has never let me down. I’m so thrilled to try this eyeliner which is this Khol & Contour eyeliner in Bronze Raffine. It’s a really nice color of Bronze-y shade. There are 7 different color shades available on their website but I got mine from Winners. You can also find it at Amazon for $12.90 but they only have it on Ultra Black.

The color payoff is definitely good as compared to other kohl pencils which I have tried before so far. It designed to be worn at the inner and outer rim of the eyes. Today I’m reviewing this Bronze Raffine  shade and not Ultra Black. This kohl pencil has quite an intense line even with a single swipe as the swatch below.

It glides very smoothly and it does not sting the waterline. With its soft formula, I can easily create a smudge look around my eyes and when it’s sharpened, the pencil draws an accurate lines. This would be a nice liner to draw on waterline and to make smoky eyes look distinctively beautiful. Basically, this Khol pencil can be used for waterline, upper and lower lash line.

I made a single swipe swatch to show that it soft and doesn’t drag on skin. Bourjois says that this Khol eyeliner pencil has a long lasting wear of 16 hours and it’s waterproof. Meaning for drawing waterline, this kohl pencil will not be a problem, after all it’s waterproof. Yay!!

Overall, I do like this khol eyeliner pencil and I’m happy that it was my autumn liner purchased which I won’t regret getting. On top of that, I’m planning to get another Ultra Black shade for a more intense line finish for an extreme smoky eye look.

So, that’s all for my take on this bourjois Khol liner and hope you find this helpful.
