I Am Glamm New Monthly Subscription Bag

I’ve been approached by “IAMGLAMM” a monthly beauty subscription company recently to try their IAMGLAMM BAG and to share my experience here in this post. I received a black colored parcel a couple of days ago from this company. Needless to say, I was excited to unbagged and share what’s in this bag. These are *free sample sent to me from IAMGLAMM.

iamglamm bag

This is fairly a new beauty subscription company offering quite a similar business concept to Ipsy Glam Bag. Instead of paying $10.00 you’re only paying $8.99 to your monthly subscription with free shipping to US and Canada.  You can cancel your subscription anytime. There are 3 makeup products plus 1 accessory in your bag for less than $10.00 a month.

For this month’s IAMGLAMM Bag, I received the following:

Hard Candy Nail Polish in Gummy Green. Jammed packed with glitters with nice consistency. The formula wasn’t too liquidy or thick and it goes on well. It’s a pale pastel green which would look pretty for everyday wear.

I personally like it with two coating. The formula is not opaque as you can see from the above picture. I’m happy with many Hard Candy products but this nail polish just didn’t cut it. My opinion is that the quality is “so-so”. Not quite impressed but as I mentioned earlier it’s not bad for everyday wear!

False lashes with beads. Well, that’s some falsies you don’t see everyday. It’s unique and stylish and I’ll be trying to wear these for Halloween. If you love blings and glitter false eyelashes then don’t look far, this it made for you.

Curious Perfume is a brand I’ve never heard of to be honest. It comes in a travelling tube packaging. I’m not a big fan of online perfume because I feel that perfume depends very much on personal taste. For me, I need to smell it to love it. So, this one is a miss for me. I can’t figured out the scents but not something I’d reach for.

Lace Mask is good to wear if you’re invited to a “Masquerade”. Soft lace material and sexy. Oh … if you’re disguising as “Black Moon Clan” inspired by Michelle Phan and youtube beauty gurus, this lace mask could come in handy. If you wear this, the Phantom of the Opera would be jealous too! haaaahhhhh! aaahhh!

Overall, I think this company has potential and I just wanted to help and support new companies by giving them a shout out. If you are a beginners to makeup and not wanting to spend a fortune on beauty products, this can be a good starting point. Interested, go and check them out.

What do you think of this beauty subscription bag? I love to hear your comments on the comment section below.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read.

Ipsy July Glam Bag – Unbagged

Oh my gosh! Last weekend was freaking hot and I was so happy when it finally rained. It was like 32C and I can practically hear the plants and trees screaming for joy when the first drop of rain drops! Guess what, I’m a plant Whisperer! I can hear them. Well, it wasn’t the most beautiful Sunday but hey I’ll take it any time!

So, Wednesday finally arrive  and I receive my monthly Ipsy Glam Bag in my mail box. I’m excited to see the actual products since now a days, with the sneak peak and spoiler, let’s just say it wasn’t much of a surprise anymore. I wanted to point this out to you. But, let’s just pretend you didn’t hear my babbling and just focus on the actual unbagging.

As usual there are 5 sample products in the Ipsy Glam Bag. For those of you who just join and follow my post you’ll see my monthly unbagging and reviews that follow.

Anyways, let’s cut to the chase and jump right in.

I got a City Color HD Loose Powder with net wt: 4.0g. Hold on to your chairs, animal lovers – this product is cruelty free. So, yay for that!

It sets your foundation to a smooth and matte finish. This powder contains 100% Silica Powder. Regular price $5.99 for 7.0g.

I’m not a huge fan of loose powder since I’m clumsy at times and I dislike powder floating everywhere whenever I used them. It says on their website that it’s a translucent shade and I’ll report back in my review once I’ve tried it. I’m curious to test the performance if it actually sets everything or helps blur imperfections as claimed by City Color.

Another cruelty free product to cheer for is this Jelly Pong Pong 2-in-1 Eyeliner and Shadow in Brown. There are 4 shades available and retail for $16.00.

Honestly, this is my first time hearing this cute name brand and all the products are so adorable. You can check on their other paraben and cruelty free products if you’re cruelty free makeup enthusiasts. I’ll be talking more about this product in my next post.

Next in the bag is this Coolway Beachy Salt Spray with net wt: 15ml. I’ve received a Coolway hair product before and this time I got this Salt Spray formulated from the dead sea salt. |I don’t know what else to say, except Wow!

It says here that it’s perfect for creating beachy waves and natural styles, for a non-sticky, matte finished look. It has a natural scents of salt when I sprayed it on my hair but anyways I’ll continue using it until I emptied it. My hair doesn’t feel sticky whatsoever and it feels nice. Regular price $12.95 for 3.3 oz on their website.

Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Gel Soapless Cleanser with net wt: 25ml and it’s available in regular size of 200ml. It’s good for oily and blemish-prone skin type. And since I’ve dry skin type, I’ll not be using it 😦 but I’ll give it to my daughter to try instead. A  quick note, I love the smell of this fresh cleanser gel, it’s so freaking amazing. I’m curious, so I tried it to wash my hands with and it’s soapy enough with just very little gel.

bombshell lip balm

Last but not least is the be a … bombshell Lip Balm in French Kiss. Value for $14.00 online with 6 color options.

This is a Light Creamy Pink with a full coverage finish. There is no apparent smell on this lip balm and it feels very creamy on lips. It’s not sticky but you can feel that you’re wearing a lip balm. The light pink color is so faint that you wouldn’t see any color appearance. It’ll leave your lips hydrated all day. Well, I’ll continue wearing it and will report back if I change my mind but as of now I’m liking it.

This month’s Ipsy Bag comes in a pretty design of waves and the texture of this bag feels like cloth material. I like it!

Overall, I really like my July’s Glam Bag unbagging and share what’s inside my bag.

Ipsy April Glam Bag|Unbagged|Beautiful Bohemian

Hey Cuties!

I just received my April’s month Ipsy Glam Bag and I’m super excited to unbag. There are a few products that I’m very excited about. So, let’s get into the bag:-

This month’s Ipsy theme is the “Beautiful Bohemian”

I always love bohemian fashion and makeup style and when I got the sneak peek that this month’s bag is bohemian, I can’t wait for my glam bag to arrive. Eventually, I did and below are what’s inside my bohemian bag. In this bag, there are 5 sample products.

ipsy glam bag - sharon beauty prime

This months bag is cream beige with fine stripes type pattern on it. Cute to store my makeup products. I would trust it to keep things safe from breaking or things from rolling around your purse. Inside this bag we have a Full size Hikari Blush, JulieG Nail Polish, a Crown Oval Concealer Brush and the samples are theBalm Nude Dude Eyeshadow. HOW CUUUUUUUTEEEEEE!!!  and lastly a sample size Klorane Dry Shampoo.

julieg nail polish

At the top is the JulieG Nail Polish in Damsel (mid toned pink) shade. Net wt: 0.35 fl oz.Valued $3.99. Highly-pigmented, no chip formula as claimed by JulieG. This is my first time getting a JulieG nail polish and I’m looking forward to trying it out. On first glace, the packaging LOOKS cute and the brush is pretty decent size and the amount of polish you get is just nice. The color Damsel is a lovely hot fuchsia which is perfect for spring and summer. Available in 63 different shades of matte satin and/or glittery finish. No animal testing which means it’s a cruelty free product. Always look out for a leaping bunny logo on the packaging or the cruelty free logo or peta logo 😀

klorane dry shampoo

Moving on we have Klorane Dry Shampoo in with Oat – Natural Tint. Net wt: 1 oz. Valued: $19.50 for a regular size (3.2 oz) bottle. On the website it says “the ultimate secret weapon to clean hair without water and to add amazing volume! For the first time Klorane has integrated mineral pigments in a formula exclusively tailored to brown to dark hair.” This dry shampoo will clean your hair without water, restore volume and saves on water and time. How cool is that, right! You really got to try this. It feels and smell wonderful 😀

Okay, maybe a little embarrassed to admit but I only heard of dry shampoo just recently. I wash my hair every two days. And dry shampoo is never in my beauty vocabulary. But one day I was introduced to a dry shampoo cap by one of the nurse in the hospital where I was hospitalized and I was amazed. I know now that there is a quick fix for my hair in case of emergency. I mean I’m still washing my hair with water but I know now that there is another alternative to washing hair. Be it if you’re going camping or if you’re travelling to places with water scarcity. Dry shampoo is the answer. Therefore, I’m super happy to get this product from Ipsy. Thank you Ipsy!

hikari blush

Next is the Hikari Cosmetics in Tango. Net wt: 0.21 oz. Valued $15.00. Designed to highlight your complexion, this weightless blush can be used lightly for a fresh look so it claims. Available in seven beautiful shades at Hikari online. Tango is a matte pink coral tone which blends incredibly and I’m loving it so far. The shades look pretty to wear for everyday wear. The texture is  smooth and the color payoff is insane. This is not a matte finish blush I can tell you that much. I’ll put a review up with color swatch once I’ve tried it next. So, stay tuned!

Followed by theBalm Nude Dude Eyeshadow Single in Flirty. Net wt: 0.035 oz. Valued $ 36.00 for regular full size palette of 0.336 oz containing 12 shadows. I’m impressed that with this shadows, you can wear them wet or dry and alone or layered for added intensity, so go ahead and cover (or uncover) your eyes. The Flirty Dude shade I got is richly pigmented. This shade is plum-red with gold-shimmer. The texture is soft but a little bit powdery in my opinion when I picked the shadow from the pan for color swatch. But once you apply on eyelids it just blend in beautifully. The color payoff is incredible. So, a little goes a long way. I did a review on the ‘etude Nude eyeshadow palette before and I’ll put a link here if you like to go back to read. The balm is one of my top 5 favorite eyeshadow brands. Love the pigmentation!

crown concealr brush crown brush

Lastly the Crown Oval Concealer Brush in C224. Net wt: 0.03 oz. This Crown Brush Oval Concealer Brush is made of 100% Flexible Japanese Torray Taklon Bristles (synthetic). It’s super soft and pick up product with ease. I love it ❤ Even my porcelain geisha loves it! Just look how pretty it go.

Over all, I’m pleased with this month’s bag. I saw some of my fellow ipster who gets the new Melted Liquified lipstick by Too Faced which I think would be nice to have than the concealer brush but I’m still not disappointed.

Good job Ipsy – another thumbs up for making this April’s glam bag a satisfied one for me. I’m happy that I would be able to use all the products in this month’s bag, yay!!!  🙂
