BECCA Glow On The Go – Hit or Miss!

Hey guys! I’m super excited to bring you my take on this Becca Glow On The Go products that I’ve been testing and have been reaching out over this summer. You guys know that I’m trying out products constantly so if something goes in this post you know it got to be good.

So you asked: What is truly worth that kind of price for a high end product?

I thought long and hard and I find this Becca Glow On The Go to be the best fit for today’s post. I wanted it to be a thing that has the greatest probablity to working across the board no matter who you are. I wanted it to be something universal if you know what I mean.

Standard Size C$50

I’m going to kick this off with the Shimmering Skin Perfector Sportlight Opal. Available in seven shades at any Sephora near you.

I’m all about natural glow looking skin and when I was first introduced to this highlighter, I was over the moon. This may look like a typical tube highlighter but what this is going to do is to give your skin so much more.

It comes in a tube packaging with a doe foot applicator. What I love most is the consistency of this formula. It’s neither too runny nor too thick in texture. I find it to be so easy to blend and spread on areas of my skin I want highlighted.

The shade Opal is described as golden peach pearl which is so pretty. It’s says “to be the best selling and most flattering on all skin tones.” I’m very pleased with the subtle and natural looking finish that Becca gives. A beautiful glow to the skin that’s not too shimmery at all.

Even though these are small size it still has plenty of product. This set is a great way to try BECCA’s highlighters without committing to a full-sized one. But in my case, I’m running to the nearest Sephora to grab a full size.

Next is the Becca Shimmering Perfector Pressed in Opal is a finely milled illuminator that keeps skin looking incredibly lovely and luminous. Th color Opal can be described as a light-medium golden champagne pressed highlighter with a frosted finish. The formula is buttery soft and it glides on like a dream.

I’m a NC25 so this shade is a good fit for my skin tone. It gives a lovely touch of warmth that I really appreciate. I like to apply using my fingers instead of a brush when it comes to highlighter. I find it works best with fingers but it might just be me. You can use whichever method that floats your boat.

I really like this so if you’re just looking around for a natural glowing highlighter from a high end brand then definitely give it a try. If you know any dupes for a pressed highlighter, definitely comment below. I love to try it out.

Becca’s #1 Best Sellers – C$24 at Sephora

Between the two highlighters, I honestly say that I’m loving the liquid ones better than the other. I like how the liquid highlighter applies and how effortless to buff out by tapping with fingers. The finishing look is phenomenal. I’m loving the natural looking glow that the Skin Spotlight gives.

Becca has the best highlighter and I couldn’t rave more except that you try it. I highly recommend Becca because they’re cruelty free!

I hope you enjoy my recommendation and find this post to be helpful for you guys. Thank you so much for taking your time to read. I really appreciate it.

Maison Jacynthe Naturally – Review & Photos

Many of you may have already know this, as a beauty blogger, a lot of companies will sent over new collections, new product my way so that I can try them out and potentially share them with you. And I’m very grateful for this because of course I wanted to create new contents all the time and share new products and it could be quite expensive if I’d have to do that all by my own.

This is a collaboration post where I partnered with Maison Jacynthe to make this post. It’s their new product collection which was launched not too long ago. I love natural products and I’ve been using their products on rotation for the last couple of months.

Alright, so let’s jump in.

Maison Jacynthe PR Samples
*Press Samples
Maison Jacynthe Liquid Foundation
Liquid Foundation

The first thing I got is the Fluid Foundation Sable 02 and is retailed for a CAD$46 so it’s a pretty penny but so worth it. Available in 5 different colors to choose from.

I was very excited to test out this Fluide De Teint (Fluid Foundation) and it’s the same shade that I’m in powder foundation in Sable. This comes in a pump and all of their products are natural and vegan. So this is also cruelty free in case you’re wondering.

My warning, is that a little goes a long way with this foundation. Start small!

The finish of the foundations is beautiful and they smell divinely good! It reminds me of BB cream formula in terms of consistency. It claims to hide skin imperfection with a natural finish which I agree with. It’s so easy to apply and buff it into skin. Love the natural and glowy looks it gives.

I’m quite impressed with the formula to be honest. I’ve combo to dry skin and this foundation makes my skin looks flawless. Not meaning to toot my own horn but I’ve been having good skin days for the past few weeks. I’m so happy this product doesn’t cause me any break out.

It’s very sheer and lightweight foundation. You can built it up to a decent coverage but I wouldn’t say it going to give you medium to full coverage. If you’re looking for a medium to full coverage foundation, then this product is not for you. If you’re super oily, then you might want to set it with setting powder in order not to look super dewy or shinny. It has a decent staying power in terms of wearing it throughout the day.

Wearing fluid foundation by #Maison Jacynthe

It’s hot here with temperature standing at 28 celcius, it’s been quite humid over the past few days and so I find it works well with the weather and my skin situation when I applied setting powder to keep it from melt down. I’ve nothing bad to say about it and especially if you’re looking for a natural or cruelty free clean brand for a foundation. I do recommend it.

Maison Jacynthe Illuminator

The next product I want to talk about is this Highlighter in the shade 02 Pink Moon. I’ve been using this on my cheek, temples and as my brow bone highlight. It states that you can also apply it on the lips too.

It’s available in 2 colors and formulated with coffee and corn extracts, macadamia and apricot oil.

This is my summer highlight glow that I’m talking about. Look how pretty it is! So beautiful iridescent highlight. It’s a gold pink color that you buff it in on your cheeks. It matches your skin when you buffed it in and then set it with setting spray. It adds some moisture to it and give you an immediate healthy looking skin.

Can we take a moment to take it all in. How gorgeously pigmented is this highlighter! It feels buttery and silky to touch.

Those are my thoughts as far as this product goes. The highlighter stays put all day without fading down which is awesome. All in all, this is good stuff.

Maison Jacynthe Vingt Deux

Last but not least, is the Vingt Deux Roll Perfume. I hesitate to talk about perfume in my blog because they don’t usually do so well on readerships but if there’s anyone out there that’s like me reading my post, maybe you’ll like this blog. I’m addicted to watching perfume videos online. I like to research and I like discovering new perfumes and even though it’s not everyone’s favorite post to read but maybe there are people like me in the world, if you’re then this post is for you.

Maison Jacynthe recently came out with her new Vingt Deux perfume. This was sent to me. It comes in a long tube design packaging and with wooden top lid. I really love the scent of this perfume smell. I love floral and woody scent that works really well with my body chemistry. It’s described as sensual, delightful and languorous. I’ve been wearing this non-stop. I feel like I’m walking in the country side and breathing in some fresh and beautiful woody scents. It’s therapeutic to my mind and soul. I’m loving it!

Thank you guys for always reading, please comment and subscribe. I hope you guys enjoyed hearing my opinion and seeing how these products works for me. I’ve some exciting things coming up, some fun stuff that I’ve been working on and I cant’ wait to show it to you. So, I’ll talk to you guys again a later post.

I hope you come to check on my social media down below. Make sure you are following me on Twitter and Instagram (@heysharonoox) for the latest update. In the meantime come and say hi!

Do You Need It? Essence Makeup Bronzing & Highlighting Palette

Hi guys! Today’s I’ll be talking about this new palette by Essence Makeup well maybe not new new but it’s definitely new to me. It’s the Glow Must Go On bronzing and highlighting palette and I picked up mine at my local drugstore but it’s also available at Essence’s website if you want to check it out.

essence glow and go

This palette is a collaboration with beauty youtuber and this one bronzing & highlighting palette is with Serena from Beautylab. I like supporting beauty youtuber who works hard and get their name out.

There are four available and the one that drawn me the most is called The Glow Must Go On, a bronzing and highlighting palette!

Really like the outside packaging and design of this palette. It’s made of cardboard material but very sturdy. It’s a nice size for travelling and small enough to fit into any makeup bag.

In this palette, you get a highlighter, two eyeshadows and three beautiful shimmery bronzers. There’s a small brush to help you apply the products but I prefer to use it for touch ups only. To me it seems like a perfect “getaway” palette for holidays. You can also use the glowing highlighter or bronzers on your eyes, to add them some more shine.

This palette is amazing. I was blown away when I swatched these. They feel so creamy and pigmented.  “the glow must go on” palette has three different bronzers in warm.

If you want to know if it impressed me or not, read on!

L-R: Honey Glow Highlighter, Cinnamon and Sandalwood Eyeshadows

The Cinnamon eyeshadow is described as brick orange while Sandalwood is more like medium dark brown shadow. I was drawn to the Sandalwood shade as it’s chocolaty and looks like a rich color.  As for the Cinnamon, it’s more dusty than the darker brown and the pigmentation isn’t the best but can be built up a bit. These two eyeshadows are matte and can be used as bronzer if you like to mix things up a bit. I used the Cinnamon shade as transition color or on the crease and the Sandalwood on the outer corner.

Next is the Honey Glow highlighter which gives a frosty finish that I really like. It’s pigmented so you don’t need loads to achieve the desired look.

Next are the swatches of the trio power Glowing Bronzer. The bronzers are in copper,  bronze and pink shade. The finish of the bronzer is super metallic and looks very well on warmer skin tones. Brunettes with yellow undertone will love this!

The texture is very soft. It’s buildable as well as blendable. The shades are beautiful but the drawback for me is the shimmery formula.

This small brush applicator is useful to apply highlighter or touch ups. I find it’s too big and flat for your eyes and too small to use for your face.

Oh boy, am I glowing!!! The highlighter is my only favorite from the palette.

Overall, I think this is a nice palette if you’re looking for minimum color palette which is easy to work. It’s not a terrible palette if you like glowy bronzers which I’m not really a fan of. The design got my attention and the fact that I’m supporting a youtuber in her collab with Essence. Sadly,  as much as I want to like all of them, it’s a miss for me. I would say don’t waste your money, there are other drugstore palettes out there that offers more for your buck.

Hope this review was helpful to you! If you do decide to try these palettes, let me know how they fared with you!

New Carli Bybel Deluxe Edition Palette by BH Cosmetics

What’s up you guys? Welcome back to my blog! Today’s post is going to be a very exciting one because I just received my Carli Bybel Deluxe Edition 21 Color Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette in the mail two days ago. When I opened it – my heart skip a beat.

I was going to do a different post on beauty haul but that would come shortly.

This palette is so much better than I thought given I only paid $19.50 for this palette. Hearing so many amazing things about her first palette, I can only imagine how much more awesome this palette will be. I’m shaking with excitement as I unwrapped this bad boy. SPOILER ALERT – It’s gorgeous!

Now let’s get started.

From what I learned, the newest collaboration from BH Cosmetics and Carli Bybel is a turn up version of her previous palette. In case some of you didn’t know who Carli Bybel is, she’s a huge youtuber with over 5 million subscribers on tube.

She already has one BH collab, I never purchased it which makes this even better thing for me to get because I don’t have the original.

This is a gorgeous palette, it’s luxurious and the color selections are amazing. The outside design of the packaging is cute. It’s a very large palette which I like but not practical for travel at all. It got a nice big mirror and it says “aspire to inspire”. It’s a nice cardboard packaging, it’s not going to get too dirty and you could wipe it clean.

The packaging is huge but not bulky in thickness whatsoever and there’s a magnet closure on the lid which I really appreciate.

7 new shades

Deluxe Edition has all the previous shades plus seven new shadows and three new highlighters. The shadows and highlighters marked with a smiley emoji symbol are the newbies, FYI.

In this palette EVERYTHING is creamy and buttery to perfection.

If you guys just look at these shadows. These shadows just screams spring to me. Look at the mauvy, purple and peachy shadows. The colors are absolutely stunning just by looking at it. So, let’s into swatching.

1st row

I’m using a finger swatch without any eye primer or eyeshadow base on my arm. I swatched the shades for you guys and as you can see the pigmentation is incredible especially those shimmery ones.

Here’s the top row of shadows. Can we just stop and be mesmerized by this rosy pink shade (second on the right). That’s such a beautiful color. So much pigment and shimmery reflect. The last one the right has the same color except it’s less of a pink that you see here.

2nd row

I was sucked in the most by the mauvy shadows in the middle. Isn’t it an amazing color that’s perfect for spring? I’m so excited I want to play with all the shades in this palette. Don’t forget to stay tuned as I share exciting #EOTD makeup on my Instagram the coming days.

The matte shades have lovely pigmentation and blended very well in my opinion. The shimmer shades are soft, buttery and highly pigmented with no effort required to get intense color payoff. They’re just stunning!

3rd row

The eyeshadows are mainly neutral easy-to-wear shades, making this a great palette for every day and I find myself reaching for it often.

It has pink and plum shades in addition to gold, bronze and copper. The gold color second from left is pure stunning. I really like the versatility you get from this palette.

Guys could we stop here to admire these beauty. You know that these sections are for highlighters ONLY!

The left highlighter is an icy peach highlighter that has a warm to it. The golden highlighter on the right is one of the new hues. Oh my gosh! Just look at that! It feels like they’re super intense and almost…creamy. I don’t really know how to describe this. I can’t even tell you … you definitely need to get this palette I’m telling you.

They threw in four other incredible highlighters that are insanely gorgeous. Here’s the final row of highlighters with a new icy shade (far left) created for porcelain skin tones verse the warmer tones for women of color. I’m in love with the two middle highlighters currently. Let me know if you like to see a makeup tutorial in the comment section.

These are the most pigmented, rich and beautiful highlighter I’ve ever seen in my life. Absolutely stunning! I can tell you, the formula is out of this world. Seriously!

My two cents opinion, Carli makes it so affordable for everyone to purchase this. I’m loving the new shades of highlighters in her deluxe palette. The colors are gorgeous, and EVERY color here is usable! This palette is a steal for this price and so worth it. I can’t say enough about this palette! GO Get it!

The BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Edition Palette is available for $19.50 (pre-order sale) at

Under $15 Drugstore Holiday Gift Sets

Hey guys! Today we’re talking about the Under $15 Drugstore Holiday Gift Sets. I’ve very excited to share with you this post since I got them from Walmart.

I’ve been picking and collecting a lot of holiday gift items as the week gets closer to Christmas. There are so many exciting and new gift sets rolling out to the drugstores.

For a starter let’s get into Elf Cosmetics which came out with this four piece “Mad for Matte” lip color set for the holiday. I really like the whole product format in this.

The colors are top notch and you guys knows I love a good matte lip products and these is just right up my alley. The packaging comes in a slim stick design and also you got a lot of control when applying it. At the end of the stick there’s a pops off sharpener in case you want the tip to be finely pointed. I think this is brilliant! Comment below what you think?

Here are the four matte lipsticks that I’ve been loving lately. The colors are so pretty and truly matte finishing. The color intensity is fully there and for the price of CAD$15.00 (US$10.00) for all four, I think that’s awesome value!

I telling you that all these four shades are a winner in my book. You’ll get Pralline which is a beautiful neutral shade. I really love this color a lot for everyday wear. This color is fantastic on its own and you could also mixed it with nude for a natural nude lips.

Moving on is this Rich Red which is a true bright red. Gorgeous for this holiday season. I’m a huge fan of red lip color and this shade just knock me off my feet. I love love this red. It’s very glam and if you’re trying out a new shade this

Next, I got Berry Sorbet which is a pink berry with some brightness to it. On the days that I’m feeling my best, this shade is something I would wear for an evening out. Such a pretty color that’s long lasting and looks great on lips.

Last but not least is the shade Wine which is a nice holiday color of reddish berry. A little dark berry for fall and winter season. They wear comfortably on lips and they glide like a dream. No tugging or any feeling of dryness on my lips whatsoever.

From L-R: Pralline, Rich Red,Berry Sorbet and Wine. I’ll do a lip swatch over at my Instagram if you’re curious.

I also want to show you the color swatch I did on all four shades. They’re awesome matte lip color for less than a fraction of what you would pay for Bite Lipsticks. I highly recommend it.

The next set that I’m very excited to show you guys is their Get Glowing Highlighting Set. This is the best drugstore set that’s cruelty free and for CAD$15.00 (US$10.00) you couldn’t ask for more, I’m telling you.

Here’s the actual products in this set. There’s a brush, a shimmering facial whip and a illuminating palette.

There a good mixture of highlighter, a cooler pinky tone on the top right, the bottom of beige which is very subtle and the golden-y peach.

You get highlighting brush. The bristle is a little longer and you could use it for setting the under-eye or for the highlight. It’s very soft and I’ve been enjoying using it to blend the highlighter.

The glow is very subtle and I really like what it looks on swatch. Really enjoy the consistency of the formula and it’s a great highlighting palette if you’re trying out new products.

One of them is this Shimmery Facial Whip. I tell you this is the best I’ve tried yet. This shade is called Lilac petal but it doesn’t look lilac at all. It’s a soft peachy pink.

Just a tiny itsy bitsy size is enough to brighten your skin. A little goes a long way! It’s highly highly shimmery.

Just take a second and look at this swatch. Are you convince how little you need of this product to get this huge effect. Here is the result! As you can see, I blend it a little and then more as shown on the image below.

I wear it on my cheek as highlighter, tip of my nose and on my cupid bow. Love this to the moon and back. One word = Awesome.

These are products I’ve tried that really impressed. It excites me to give it to those in my list.

Anastasia Contour Kit Review, Photos & Swatch

SORRY TO BE THE ONE TO BREAK YOUR BUBBLES but let’s get real, The long holiday was over and we’re all back to our regular routines. I had a well deserved rest and the holidays were a blast. Well, except I caught a cold on New Year’s day I blame the crazy weather. Hot, cold, hot cold makes my body system goes haywire. I’ll stop ranting and get to the point quickly:

Let’s talk high end products for a minute. My new acquired possession for the New Year. Yes, yes! ANASTASIA Beverly Hills. I’ve seen youtuber Desi Perkins uses ABH contour kit on her makeup tutorials and I love how easy to do a face contour with these products. Desi is one of my favorite beauty guru and I’m happy to be able to share her youtube video in this post. Watch how she shows you about contouring, ENJOY!

I ordered Anastasia Contour it in Light to Medium for CAD$52.00 at Sephora, I believe you can also find this it at Ulta and Nordstrom or at ABH online website for US$40.00. Available in three different shades. Light to Medium, Medium to Tan and Tan to Deep. Shades catered for all skin tones. Yipee!

I think the packaging is great for travel, its sleek, it stays closed…and overall the product is absolutely amazing.

A sleek, palette with six shades: top row – three for highlighting and bottom row – three for contouring.

I love this product! At first I was kinda hesitant to buy this due to the price but I’m in love with the pigmentation. I find that the product really sticks to your brush so you don’t have to keep grabbing more product. The texture is super smooth and blendable. Really great!

This is a super good product. I use Fawn for contouring and Sand or Banana for highlighting. I like Fawn because I find the other two have more of an orangey tint to them that shows up too harshly on me. I usually use Sand as a highlighter across my cheekbones because of the shimmer, and Banana on other areas I want to highlight which is more of a yellow. I use Vanilla occasionally as well for my inner corners.

The other darker shades I use more as a bronzer or eyeshadow. All in all it’s a pretty good contour kit and gets the job done. I use it everyday and it’s a staple in my makeup bag. It’s a little pricey but I definitely think it’s worth it.

This set contains:
– 6 x 0.11 oz Vanilla, Banana, Sand
– 6 x 0.11 oz Java, Fawn, Havana

The colors in this kit are absolutely perfect for me and move well through the seasons. It makes me look more vibrant, it looks natural, and the colors work for not only contouring my face, but I use a smaller brush and contour my nose. Love how the powders go on super smooth. I finally found my HOLY GRAIL for contouring! I LOVE this kit! ❤

anastasia contour kit

I like that it comes with a highlighter, had individual shades that can be replaced as needed and I felt that these colors could be blended better. Easy to use 6 different shade is great for the price, if you asked me! Don’t take my word for it, YOU must try it! y FREE.

Top row: Highlighters     Bottom row: Bronzers

This is the best contour kit HANDS DOWN! You will not be disappointed.

Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in trying contouring a chance, especially for beginners. And in my opinion, it’s a must have for all you makeup junkie!

What do you think of this contour kit? Have you tried it and if yes, don’t forget to leave your comments.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read and hope to see you again on the next one 🙂

Quo Face Contour Palette

quo duo face contour palete

I got this at Shoppers Drug Mart and I quite like this product! I bought this contour palette the same time I purchased the other two Quo eyeshadow palettes which I had review here. The packaging is great, there is no fragrance, and it does not break me out.

Quo has launched two limited edition contour palettes and a contour brush. The palettes are priced at $18.00 and the brush is $16.00. And of course, Quo does go on sale so there is always a chance of getting it cheaper!

This is a limited edition and since it was on liquidation, I so had to get it. I found the light palette to be perfect, with both a matte highlight and cool contour shade.

The product is quite pigmented (bronzer and the highlighter) and it’s a powder formula and not a cream contour kit. It’s not as silky smooth as I would like but they still work very well.

However, after using it a few times, i’ve noticed its flaws. the highlight shade is barely pigmented, and does not show up on my light-medium skin tone. I really like the highlighter since it does show up on my on my light-medium skin tone but the bronzer is a bit lacking.

Well, the only negative thing I could say is the pigment which isn’t as rich as I would have liked. But that isn’t exactly a bad thing when we are talking about highlight. The colors are buildable and blendable and for $18.00 I think they are totally worth it.

It’s cheap and lovely so that is a bonus! This stuff lasts forever so it’s easier on the wallet.

So as I’ve mentioned above this is a limited edition and if you’re looking for a frugal contour run to your nearest Shoppers Drug Mart asap. You get 20x points on your purchase.

That’s it for now and I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this post. Until next time, stay beautiful!

What’s your favorite contour palette from high end to drugstore brands?

Thank you so much.

REVIEW: Dandelion + Coralista Blushes by Benefit

Hey gorgeous!

Today, I love to talk on these two blushes that I have been aiming to lay my hands on awhile ago. I’m super excited to be sharing with you what I picked up from the store.

I’ve seen this Benefit Dandelion Box Powder at some drugstores (shoppers Drug Mart) and Benefit products are also available at Sephora, Ulta and Benefit online.

benefit blush color dandelion

Benefit Dandelion is a soft pink with a hint of peach and comes with a shimmer-sheen. Selling for US$28.00 and CN$36.00 with net wt: 0.35 oz.

This powder is that has a soft and lovely finish. It claims to transform a dull to radiant complexion with a few blending on the cheek bones. On me, I can see that the pink tones dominating the peach since it has more pink in them naturally. This meant for a soft color, so it works best as a highlighter or dusted lightly. This soft pale pink is definitely more for those with palest skin tone. I wore this dandelion as highlighter and with the shimmer-sheen finish, it gives a fresh and happy looking skin 😡

color swatch

The formula is soft and has rich pigmentation. It’s feel creamy and smooth but on color swatch it looks more powdery but once blended gently the color just even out beautifully. This dandelion box powder includes a natural, soft bristle brush.

coralisa blush coralis benefit blush

Next is my Coralista Blush by Benefit. It’s selling for $28.00 with net wt: 0.42 oz. This blush has a lightly warmed coral-pink tone. Just look how beautiful the shade is? I’m in love with this blush immediately after I did a swatch or two and love how pretty it looks. It gives a soft glow-y sheen that is leaning towards the coral tone. It instantly brighten up your complexion and leaves There is also a slight floral fragrance sneaking out through the opening box. If you are sensitive to fragrance then I suggest it’s better reason to check it before you purchase.

coralista pigment coralita blush on cheek

The Coralista is not too warmly undertone so it can match most skin tone. Best part is that it can also be built up intensely without worrying of overdoing it. It is a practical purchase you will use forever!

So, both of these Benefit products I love and will repurchase and love to recommend to all friends. It is on a steeper end in terms of pricing but for a good quality product that last and wearable for everyday wear, I would say go for it, girl!

Anyways, I hope you will find this post helpful and interesting.

What do you think of these Benefit products? Love to hear your comments.

Thank you for reading, dear!

PIXI Fairy Dust Review

Hey Gorgeous,

Has any of you remember Tinkerbell from”Peter Pan”? This Pixi Fairy Dust always reminds me of this pixie dust that the fairies have to collect the dust in the movie “The Lost Treasure”. Ooops! I just got carried away by all these soft shimmery fairy dust.

I got mine in Brightening Bare in taupe shade from the ipsy bag sample. It has pretty color and I love it. It’s not overly shimmery and it has beautiful pigments. The finishing touch is amazing. Available in 6 fairy pixi shades. Net wt: 0.02 oz. You can get this from Target for $10.00 or Pixi online store by using code: PIXIDUST for a 20% off on any purchase.

It comes in a wand applicator and the fairy dust in the pot.

Beautiful color swatch. It looks wet-tish but it’s not but more because of the creamy pigmentation. Simply lovely and dewy.

On the right image: Since it’s a Christmas day, I decided to dolled up a little by wearing this fairy dust as a highlighter on my brow bone and cheek bones. Perfect to take family photos and the wear lasted a long while.

So, the next time you need some pixie dust, hop over to your nearest Target for this nice soft shimmery finish look.

What do you think of this fairy dust? I hope you find this review helpful and interesting.

See you again next time.

Thank you for reading.

bourjois color swatch
I did a swatch on my fingers and see how richly pigmented this formula runs. It’s smooth and soft. The offside of this blush is that it’s very shimmery and feels like too much of glitering happening on my face as I applied it on. It does says blush but obviously it is more of a highlighter by the texture of it’s light and sheer finish. I put them to my cheekbones and then added a touch on my browbone as a highlighter and it does work beautifully except with too much shimmer for me.
tested on hand
Oooo! It’s so blendable and look at the shimmer that it gives. I’m not quite a shimmer person but I might use it with my matte finish blusher. I think this illuminating touch blush is good to be worn for evening out or for going to a party.

Anyhow, I like it if it wasn’t as shimmery but on the contrary I’ll have to say I’m just liking it averagely. I’m sure this illuminator will lift up a dull skin to a radiant and fresher feel. But it just didn’t work so much for me personally and for those who loves shimmer highlighter, then this product will be perfect for you.

So, that’s it for my 2 cents opnion and hope to see you guys again tomorrow for another new blog.

Which is your favorite highlighter brand?

Till then, thank you for taking the time to read.
