Well guys, I couldn’t resist! It’s sales time and Marshalls has great deals going on. Marshalls has incredibly insane deals happening and if you want some great deals in your life, definitely check out their stores right now.
Marshalls is one of my favorite places to shop for designer brands at a portion of the price and I just love their sales. I got some really good winter/summer things that I’m really excited about.
First thing I got is …
This pair of jeans by 1822 Denim Capri is the most comfortable denim ever. The material is so soft and the cut fits just right where it supposed to. I’m wearing a size 6 and it fits me like a glove. I love it so much, it makes me wish it’s summer now. Just can’t wait to rock it next summer.
Ooohh! This Cashmere Infused turtle neck jumper by Jeanne Pierre so soft! Let me tell you this photo doesn’t do it justice. The actual color is a little bit more magenta than what you see on this photo. I love a good comfortable, snuggly and warm turtle neck jumper and was super pleased to have this in my life. It’s super soft and it was around $24.00. This is the most beautiful magenta color. Would make a perfect outfit this holiday season!
Moving on, I got this Lauren Ralph Lauren Striped Cotton T-Shirt in the shade Green Mu. Again, very soft and I thought this color would look amazing and really suit my skin tone. It’s so soft, really soft! I got this one in a size M
Winter outfit wouldn’t be complete without an over-sized cardigan. I love love the pattern on these sleeves and appreciate that it has two front pockets to keep hands warm. I’m wearing it today and it’s keeping me snug. I think John & Jenn knitted cardigan is such a win! This one is perfect for me! So nice and warm!
Wrapped in Big Apple Red color nail polish by OPI! Oh yes! These colors are so easy to wear with almost anything. A classic red nails that could never go out of style. I love to wear red nails for the holiday season. There’s something about bold red which I think makes any holiday seasons feel festive and joyful. Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year but for some, it’s also one of the busiest. Between gift buying, food preparing and party attending, you still need to find time to pamper yourself and go ahead and wear a bold red nails.
So, if you’re fancy to do some shopping for you or anyone else, so make sure to follow me on my instagram. I’m posting all the amazing sales and updates.
Happy Cyber Monday and Happy Shopping!

I found so many of my favorite clothing line at Marshalls yesterday. You can find things designer clothing, shoes, handbags at a fraction of their price. If you’re into that you definitely have to check them out. Personally for myself, I love checking out their new arrivals and designer brands because they have a huge selection of things to choose from. And I found some of the most beautiful clothing ever!
I love love this piece of Satin Camisole Top by Violet & Claire. I got this in the color Dark Navy Blue and it does goes well with any dark or light color jacket.
Next, I also picked up this soft mauve color skirt by Faith and Joy. Retailed for $24.99 and I got it for $15.00 on liquidation price. I don’t have anything like this. It’s so pretty and girly! I think this would be good to wear for brunch or high tea. I like that it comes with a black ribbon for more definition and that ruffled front is everything.
For today’s try on haul, I top it with a light lavender jacket I got several years ago from Calvin Klein. I really love the look. What do you think! Yay or nay!
This dress is from French Connection and can we just admire the fluffy bell sleeves and the top lace for a moment. It’s a knee high dress and everything about this dress is amazing. I just love how flow-y it is when I was wearing it. This one really stuck out with me!
I’m swooning over this beautiful soft and fluffy lace dress in the color Black. It was marked for retail at $188.00 but I paid $39.99 only for it. I feel so comfortable with this dress. I know I’ve found that one dress that makes me feel confident and so good in it.
When I saw this cute accessory gloves on the gloves section, I told myself I have to get this. I’m loving the soft faux fur so very much. It fits nicely and helps keep my hands warm for fall weather. Very nice cotton material and who doesn’t love a pretty bling, right!
Firstly, I just need to take a minute to mention how in love I am with these leather boots by Kodiak Canada Boots. How comfy and warm are these! I love a great bargain for winter boots and for $69.99 it was super score!
A cool pair of leather ankle boots with a little to no heel are one of my favorite things to wear in the winter time.
That is my haul! I hope you guys enjoyed this. I was so so excited to show you all these pieces of clothing because one I haven’t done a haul for a really long time and two because I really love everything I got from this haul.
What’s the best thing you scored from Marshalls? Leave me a comment and let me know what you picked up over the weekend.
Stay tuned for Part 2 of my Marshalls Haul coming up next week.
Until next time, stay boot-ti-ful and have fun shopping!!!
Fall is one of the season I most look forward to in the entire year. So I was excited to pick up this palette at Marshalls. I love shopping at Marshalls and Home Sense simply for their great brands and affordable prices. From clothing range to handbags and shoes to furniture, home decors and so much more. I always find myself finding stuffs that makes my heart skip a beat and that’s so fun!
You know I’m obsessed with eyeshadow palettes and are always on the hunt for quality and affordable beauty options. So here is a fun eyeshadows for Fall! I love each and every color in this palette. Great color selection for warm toned enthusiast.
These are mind-blowing shadows! Richly pigmented and easy to blend. In case you’re wondering, be assured that Smashbox product is cruelty free!
Each palette has eight shades. You got four shimmers and four mattes eyeshadows. So there’s a lot of combination that you can use for different eye looks.
Here’s the name of the shadows in Ablaze with shades in rich red clay and hot terracotta. This palette captures the warmth of the desert in a range of sun-drenched shades that are great for your everyday and Fall looks.
I was sold the moment I open the cover. It’s like opening a pandora box (in a good way). My heart skip a beat!!! I just don’t believe my eyes of what I’ve put myself into. I’m obsessed with every shade in this palette. It’s versatile and you can create so many different look with them.
The packaging is slim and sleek. It comes with a huge mirror and a good size shadow pans. I like the magnetic close lid
Why I love this palette, it’s because none of these shadows are repeats. The quality of the formula is amazing. They’re rich in pigment, soft and beyond blendable texture. These shadows are so pigmented that with just a light swipe you get a lot of product on the brush but also powdery if that make any sense. I like to tap off the excess shadows before applying it directly onto my eyes.
Relaxed – a soft peach with warm undertones and a matte finish
Moccasin – a soft light-medium copper with frosted finish
Here’s a closeup color swatches of the bottom roll eyeshadows:
Siesta – a muted medium-dark rosy copper with a pearly sheen finish
Nirvana – is a medium-dark reddish berry with warm undertones and a matte finish
Delirious – a medium-dark coppery brown and a frosted sheen
Torch – is a medium-dark orange with golden shimmer
Throwback – a muted dark brown with warm and red undertones and a matte finish
Dark Horse – a deep earth brown a matte finish
I like that this particular palette had both shimmer and matte finishes.
I first prep my eyes with I love stage eyeshadow base by Essence. Then my next step is to use Moccasin from lash line to natural crease. Next I apply Throwback to diffuse the crease. They’re very pigmented so you might want to tap off of the excess. I then sweep Relaxed onto the brow bone. To softly define the bottom lash line, I use Throwback. For photo finish look to make my eyes look more pop, I apply Siesta on the inner corner of my eye. To finish of the look, I’m using my favorite Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner in Black.
It blends out so nicely and I’m loving this look. I can’t wait to see what else I can create out of this palette.
I could do multiple look with this palette which I really appreciate and love that it’s a pocket size which is great for travelling. Would definitely go back for more. I really can’t say enough good things about Smashbox. I’m so happy that I got to try this out. I’m really impressed with the pigmentation and the blending. A palette this amazing, I highly recommend it!

Today I’m going to do my current favorites since I’ve been testing out many great products that really wowed me. I’ve two great makeup removers that I’ve been loving lately. I talked with this on my Instagram but this is the Laniege Lip & Eye Makeup Remover which I’ve been so obsessed lately. I just thought like this makeup remover is the one. I brought this with me during my vacation and it’s like the best thing I’ve ever use whenever I need to remover my makeup. It’s my favorite favorite favorite makeup remover. I recommend it to everybody!
Next is the BB Cushion Hydra Radiance in the shade beige by Laniege. You can find this available in six different shades from porcelain to cacao. I don’t know why I love this so much but I just love it. I love this BB cushion because it feels lightweight, comfortable and hydrating on my skin, not to mention the coverage is simply amazing and with no buildup. Goals!
I’ve to mention the Rodial Dragon’s Blood Cleansing Water because if I had to repurchase all my skincare, like this would be what I’d buy. The price is not overly expensive, cheerful and it works. I really like it and the scent is insanely addictive! It’s so good!
Moving on is this old charm that was highly raved over the internet awhile ago but I only happened to have pick it up at Marshalls recently. I heard so many good things about this palette and really happy to finally add this into my makeup stash. I’ve been reaching for this Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar throughout my trip in Toronto and again since I got back. It’s safe to say it’s my current favorite go-to everyday palette. The chocolate scents smell so good and should I say addictive! I mean … it has real cocoa powder in it … what’s not to love!? The shades are super soft and highly pigmented. I’m impressed by how easily they blend. So effortlessly!!!
This may not be makeup related but I’ve to mention it because it’s the best gift I’ve received this month. I got this handmade bag as a gift from my lovely sister-in-law when she was in Borneo, Sarawak. What a skillfully hand-weaved bag made by the women of Penan tribe! You can see a lot of love and passion poured into making such intricate bag. It’s my first time seeing this cute design and bright color bag. Such a beautiful color that just scream summer to me! A big shout out to Polly for this wonderful gift! I adore it!
Best timing ever to arrive at my doorstep. Needless to say, I brought it with me to my Toronto trip last week. It holds all my makeup essentials and tons of other stuff too. So practical and durable quality. I think it was the best decision to bring for travelling.
I’d love to know how’s your summer’s like? Leave me a comment and let me know what’s on your radar the next couple of months.
Thanks so much for stopping by and read.

I love Marshalls! It’s seriously my most favorite place to shop on the planet. My love for Marshalls started when they opened their new location not too far away from where I lived. And I’ve been going there practically every once or twice a month. They’ve the most selections of fashion clothing, designer handbags, shoes, furniture, home decors and a nice section for beauty stuffs. I love the excitement of finding hidden treasure while I shop. So, during our last trip, I was lucky to find some goodies for a fraction of the price. Yippee!!!
I’ve always wanted to try out the Cover FX Contour Kit since it was first launched and now I’m just so happy to add this to my makeup collection.
This is my favorite discovery from my last trip to Marshalls. It was one of the many gems I purchased and the best part is it comes with an amazing price tag. A convenient contouring palette to contour, strobe and highlight your complexion. I like that it’s vegan and free of fragrance gluten, mineral oil, and talc. Perfect for sensitive skin and all skin-types.
I’ve been wearing them non-stop since I got it and the love I gave for this kit is visible here. Let me know if you would like to see me do a review on this product in the comment section below.
While the most expensive products listed, this palette was marked down to $24.99 while it was retailed at Sephora for $59.00, so you do the math!
This is by far the best steal item I found and I think it’s worth checking at your local stores. I’ve heard so many positive things about this palette and having tried it myself these past few days, I’ve been falling head over heels with this palette. If you love chocolates, then the scents alone will keep you hooked. I’ll keep you posted on this one in a separate post once I got back from travelling but for now, as I mentioned earlier, the price alone is a motivating factor for you to check it out.
Zoë Ayla 3 Piece Royal Scepter Shape Makeup Brush Set $10.00
Can this brush be any cuter? If you’ve been following my blog, you might know that I’m a sucker for cute stuff. So, when I saw it, I just knew that it was made for me. The synthetic hair is the softest I’ve ever had and the handle is just out of this world. I really like the look of this scepter brushes. It has a rose gold color on the top handle followed by pink, purple then teal at the very end. I really like the craftsmanship, it looks like they’re carefully trim and cut with great precision. I felt it’s worth your money to invest in a good makeup brush.
Office Envy Paperweight $9.99
If you’re like me, then you might want this in your office too. What’s great about this is that you can use it as a fashionable paper weight and desk sign. Cool right!? P.S. The only down side I can think of is that it’s very fragile so a lot of tender, loving care is required but other than that, I think it’s really cute to look at and keep me motivated. A one stop shop that fills all your office needs.
Of course I couldn’t leave Marshalls without picking up a home supplies, right? They’ve the cutest and most affordable home decors I’ve ever seen. What made me fall in love with this crate design photo frame was the message! Crazy huh! I’ve a hard time choosing which to take home with me but this one screams my name! I’m really happy with what I chose but I also have my eye on the “Wave your arms in the air like you just don’t care”! LOL!
I’m super happy with what I picked up and if you haven’t been to Marshalls, I definitely urge you to visit the store and see it for yourself.
So, what do you guys think of the items I picked from Marshalls? What are your thoughts? Share in the comments.

Available in five pretty fish shades and my favorite is the rose gold. The overall design is super cute and so elegant to look at. I really like how beautiful and soft these bristles are. This is definitely a hit and the winner in my book. I love it so much!
I like to apply my foundation or bb cream with a beauty blender or the Zoë Ayla foundation brush which is compact and super quick to use. It’s amazing how pretty it buffs in my foundation. My go to foundation brush recently has been the Zoë Ayla foundation brush which is super soft buffing brush that doesn’t aggravate my sensitive skin. Need I say more! Grab yours today!
Book of Beauty – Brow Know How Powder Palette by Pixi Beauty includes 4 highlighters and 8 brow shades and not tested on animals. I picked this one up because it’s a great price. It’s only marked down for $12.99 at Marshalls which I think is a good steal.
A convenient kit that’s travel friendly and a great beauty book for makeup artist. If you’re working on doing makeup for friends on a wedding event, than this would be very handy.
You can find brow shades that fits or you can also make your own cocktail shade from these lovely pans.
I like to use the highlighter onto my brow bone and the brow shade that I’ve been going back and forth with is this dark taupe on the second right row. A nice shade that I’m comfortable wearing. Just the perfect color for my brows.
To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of powder brow because of my sparse brow so I’m quite pleased to see it does a decent job done. You can mix the brow shade to get your best match. There ‘s really no right or wrong shade.
Overall, I’m quite impressed by the pigmentation and the looks that I’m able to get from it. The problem is not about the quality of this product but more about my preference for creamy pencil brow but if you’re on the market for some powder brow then you got to try it!
Last but not least is this cute brick like Hemp Exfoliating Sponge by Zen New Zealand.
Close up look of the product material. I like taking my shower with body wash with a good sponge scrub so this stuff is right up my alley. I particularly like using it during the summer time. The reason why I like to use this stuff over the summer time is because it gives my skin that nice exfoliation my body desires. I guarantee you’ll feel and see an instant results after getting out of the shower!
Inside was made of a squishy sponge while enveloped by natural hemp strings. I notice the texture to be really nice and comfortable. It’s not too rough or hard for the body which I really appreciate.
I found so many awesome brands at my local Marshalls. I HIGHLY recommend you check out your local store and see what products they’ve because you can definitely save some money!
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products out!
Have a great week!
