Walmart Beauty Haul & Review

Hey guys! What would you do if you’re a beauty addict! Beside shopping online, admittedly I also have a thing or two of shopping in brick and mortar stores. My doctor advises me to walk more and to go out more, so shopping is sort of my way to exercise.

My walk ended at Walmart beauty aisle and finding the satisfaction to feed my addiction of buying more makeup products. Seriously this has to stop or someone has to send me to some beauty rehabs. LOL!

But since it’s too late for that, I might as well show you guys what I picked while I was there.

Ever since I saw this on the internet I’m obsessed with getting the new Infallible Paints Eyeshadow by L’Oreal Paris. I grabbed a few shades from their collection to share it for you guys.

But the color that spoke to me the most are Navy Yard and Sunset Fire. The pink, coral and orangy shades definitely scream spring while the navy blue could be used on the outer corner or a dramatic bold look. I’m so glad to have the chance to play with these lovely colors.

L’Oreal Infallible Paint Eyeshadow is a new double-ended cream eyeshadow stick that contains two shades which can be mixed, matched, or worn individually that launched with the L’Oreal Spring 2017 Collection. It’s a cream shadow format very similar concept as the lip color/lip paint. FranklyI really like the creamy texture and the finishing.

The packaging is quite nice as it holds two shades each of which has its own sponge applicator for applicator. The shades are complimentary to each other but a little difficult to wear together at times. The creamy formula is little bit runny consistency that makes blending so easy. When it comes to pigmentation, I think they’re doing alright. The color doesn’t have the best pigmentation but it’s totally buildable for best results.

I want to conclude that the wear is fantastic and I think oily lid users will be quite happy. The color didn’t fade nor did it crease in a 8 hour period that I wore them (some days I had a shade on for 10 hours). They also remove easily which is also nice.

Moving on, I’ve yet another product from L’Oreal and it’s the Visible Lift Blur Blush. I’ve heard of this from beauty gurus and finally jumped on the bandwagon. I’ve the shade Soft Peach which I believe is the first shade from this line. The setback is that you only have 3 color choices to pick.

I might say that it’s lightweight and almost mousse-like texture to it. On application, I feel it has those silicon-y texture close to a face primer. It’s so easy to apply and perfect for spring/summer beach vacation. A little goes a long way with this blush. Just a little squeeze is all you need to apply on your cheekbones.

As much as I like this lightweight and easy to blend blush, let me just say this blush doesn’t come entirely cheap. I paid $16.99 for this bad boy.

Okay, I promise this is the last product from L’Oreal in this haul. It’s not a new product but on contrary it’s a product that has been around for awhile and I keep collecting them till this day. I’m not doing a review on the Color Infallible Eyeshadow since I’ve done that over in my older post which I’ll put a link here.

I’ve been obsessed with Sally Hansen‘s Miracle Gel Color Coat for the past few months. So without a doubt, I went back to pick up two more shades which I really like. I got them in the shades Camo Queen and Twiggy. Speaking from my experience, Sally Hansen’s miracle gel completely ticks all the boxes for me. They’ve a huge color selection which is a plus in my book. I like that it’s quick and easy to apply and furthermore, there’s a nice thick brush that comes with it.

I was excited to try the color Twiggy the moment I got home. I shared a picture of my #NOTD on my Instagram if you like to check it out.

I don’t have a gel lamp at home but happy to say that I’ve them on my fingers for the last 5 days and still going strong without any chip. They looked absolutely gorgeous and lasted fairly well as far as nail polish with me goes! I’m usually fairly messy and not the best at painting my own nails but I found the size and thickness of the brush is perfect for covering the whole nail with minimal product getting onto my skin. For this look, I’m wore two coats and it comes out quite opaque. Loving this Miracle Gel polish, I didn’t what I was missing then.

With summer drawing near also means vacation time for us here. I’ve a few short trip planned this summer. This spring/summer-like weather made me want to run out for a fresh mani and pedi. I just love having a pretty set of freshly painted fingers and toes!

Then I saw this Nail Polish Remover Wipes by Avanti which I think will come quite handy because when it comes to removing nail polish, the process becomes considerably less fun especially when I’m on the road. I’m also a sucker for cute and unique packaging so this comes right home with me.

It holds 30 wipes and it’s acetone free whichever that means. It’s my first time trying it so I’m guessing the formula with non-acetone is less harsh on the nails but then again I could be wrong.

unnamed (1)

Last but not least is a random product I purchased by impulse. I just couldn’t resist the cute packaging and design. I justify it by finding a good home for my pills. Look how pretty the blue diamond is on this silver container. I’m obsessed with everything in silver! It’s a win-win!

What do you think of all these beauty haul? Which is your favorite? Don’t forget to comment below.

Hit or Miss – Drugstore Eyeshadow Palettes

Hey what’s going guys! Today I’ll be sharing my hit or miss drugstore eyeshadow palettes as requested. I know how overwhelming it can be trying to find a good eyeshadow palette when you’re not able to test the products properly. Drugstore makeup can be a hit & miss thing but their palettes are definitely stepping up these days. So, I thought it might be helpful to talk with you guys some of the eyeshadow palettes that I’ve tried and I’d recommend if you’re on the fence to pick something from the drugstores! FYI – this is not a sponsored post!

Okay, let’s do this.

I’m going to talk on these three eyeshadow palettes which I picked up from my local drugstore not too long ago.

My girl friend introduced me to this eyeshadow palette. I like that it comes in a huge pan which means you get a lot more products from this palette. The best thing is it’s also travel friendly.

Covergirl TruNaked Palette is available in Nudes, Roses and Goldens and retails for CAD$12.97.

The Goldens shade contains warmer shades of beige, tans, olives and browns. If you’re someone looking for these color eyeshadows, this one is for you. It reminds me a lot of the Urban Decay Naked palette actually. I love the color selection in this palette. They’re so pretty and all the shadows are so versatile. You can create a neutral to dramatic look with these.

There are three matte shades Creme, Cookie and Sierra while the rest are shimmers. I didn’t notice any difference in formula between the different finishes. They all feel the same to me.

They’re very easy to blend out and long lasting. It’s really pigmented while I also notice that it does kicks up some powders, I wouldn’t be too alarm by it. In fact, I found that I don’t need to dig into the pan that hard to pick up products.

I was quite impressed with the formula and quality. They apply so beautifully on eyes and on swatches. I’m loving this palette and it’s a hit for me.

Rimmel London launched these in three shade groupings which are golds and nudes, roses, and smoky shades. I picked this palette because I knew right away that this would be the most wearable choice out of the three palettes.

I have a fairly good track record with Rimmel eyeshadow as I happened be a fan of their Glam Eyes Quad Eyeshadow Palette.

Rimmel Magnif’Eyes Eyeshadow Contouring Palette comes housed in a plastic compact that contains 12 shades. The palette also contains two dual-sided sponge applicators.

Some textures are creamy and smoother than the other. Yes, I’m referring to the matte and shimmery shadows. The matte formula is silky smooth while the shimmery ones seems to be more textured with glittery feels to them. It’s not bad but it would be even better if they’ve have similar formula to the matte shadows.

I was hoping for a much better or improved formula but this doesn’t even come close. Sadly it didn’t bring me to the moon and back 😦  I don’t think the formula is up to par with the Glam Eyes Eyeshadow formulas they’ve done in the past. The shadows blends to sheer and grouping other colors together. It gave me a serious black eye look which certainly isn’t cute at all. That was a deal breaker.

I’m quite disappointed with this palette and wouldn’t recommend it. You can definitely find other brands for the same price point but you’re getting a better quality product.

I’m not going to do a full review here, at the risk of being repetitive but for those of you that didn’t see my original review, I’ll just keep it short and sweet by saying that this formula is quite impressive.

The Wet n Wild Au Naturel eyeshadows are richly pigmented, soft, and glides on so smoothly. To be honest, I really don’t have anything negative to say about this palette. For the price, quality and that it’s cruelty free, I say run to your nearest drugstore and pick one now.

Needless to say, this is a winner in my book.

I hope this review was helpful, and let me know if you’ve found any must-try shades from this line!

Tester Wednesday – e.l.f. Jet Black Eyeliner

Hi guys!

I definitely had an “a-ha” moment while shopping for a liquid eyeliner at my local Walmart last weekend.

Could you tell now how much I love to do product reviews for you guys? All your comments and likes really encourages me to write better every time. As we transition from summer to fall, in my blog, you’ll see new series introduced here and there. So, keep checking back for new features. Alrighty! Enough of me blabbing, let’s get to the real stuff.

I was looking for a replacement liquid liner for my favorite LA Colors when I saw the e.l.f. eyeliner.  You might remember about a few weeks ago I did a post on Tester Wednesday series where I talked about their cream eyeliner. In it, I raved about how much I like the cream liner. Well, today I’m bringing in another eyeliner but in liquid form.

FYI, this is E.L.F. Cosmetics Jet Black Liquid Eyeliner in 0.15fl oz net wt. You can see here that the packaging comes in an elongated bottle with quite a user friendly handle and cute container. The applicator is of felt tip nip and is an okay size in my opinion.

The liquid liner has low pigment and applies okay but not over the top. It’s definitely not the best liner I’ve used from other drugstore brands. I find with a correct technique it dries to a nice black, but the formula is really runny and thin which requires you to wait for it to dry before going back to clean up your eyeliner or else it’ll streak. Much effort and work needed if you’re going for a simple look not to mention cat and winged eyes.

The reason it was happening was that the felt tip carries more product than is needed so it is difficult to handle it and smearing occurs. If you’re beginners, stay away from this product. It’s the most tricky liner I’ve tried thus far.

This liner is not waterproof and wears off super easily when in contact or rubbed with fingers. It doesn’t smear but just faded to almost zero formula.

Overall, I’m not happy with this product and I do not recommend this and will not reach out for it unless for emergency. It’s neither matte nor shinny finishing so to me, this one is a failure.

Are you a liquid liner girl? Comment below.

Don’t forget to subscribe or give a thumb’s up if you really like this post. Thanks so much for taking the time to read. Until next time, have a great day!

Why Is Beauty Blender A MUST?

I was very intrigued by the Beauty Blender. I suspect it’s because of the hot pink color egg or tear drop shape which is made for the face. Is it just a sponge you may ask? Wrong! This is the most amazing sponge I’ve ever seen.  I was skeptical at first but now I don’t ever apply foundation without it.

I got this Beauty Blender from the Paint It Pink box I received from Sephora recently.

Here’s why :

  1. It makes your foundation application looks flawless as if you’re not wearing anything. It’s so easy to work for blending.
  2. You can use it for any type of liquid products, for example foundation, concealer, bb cream, bronzer or blush.
  3. It makes hard to reach areas such as under the eyes, around the nose, and corners of the mouth easy to get to with the small pointy end of the sponge.
  4. Beauty blender can help sheer out more of the excess product from looking or face feeling like wearing a mask.
  5. It doesn’t absorb the foundation like an actual sponge does, your foundation will actually go further with this.
  6. It comes in pink, grey, black, purple or white. Well, I must say they’re all cute.

I would love to hear from you in the comments below why is beauty blender a must have in case I missed out some important pointers.

What’s your favorite method to apply your makeup?

Thanks guys for visiting & Happy READING! Bye!

the Balm Balmsai – Review & Swatches

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by the blog today.

Ahhhh!!! Today is a good day to talk about Balmsai Eyeshadow and Brow Palette by the Balm. The weather is nice with spring finally here. Surprisingly, we had a quite a nice winter if it’s not for my health conditions.

A new thing to me that I wanted to share today is this big size palette by the Balm I just received a few days ago.

I always get super hyped when I see the Balm palettes and tempted to purchase every time at their website.

Let’s take a look!

the Balm Balmsai Palette includes 18 shades you can use for lids, liners and you also get an additional 3 brow shades and two transparent eye stencils/brow guide. Wouldn’t you feel like you can just dive right in! It says on the palette that you can either wear them wet or dry, intense with more drama or for just an everyday basic look.

I like all in one palette as they’re easy to travel with. It housed a good color selections of taupe and neutral brown shadows. The packaging is made from a sturdy cardboard just as their staple packaging from the Balm. I find that the slip cover useful because it could hold the palette tightly to avoid wear and tear while travelling. The outer box is a whimsical art featuring beach girl in her swimsuit.

In terms of the size you got quite a decent amount of products from this palette. My brush fits just fine into them. Yay!

Curve & Angle (Brow/Shadows) SCORE-DIG IT-WOODIE

Catch a Wave (Use Wet or Dry) STOKES-RIPPER-RIGHTEOUS

Overall, I’m just loving everything in this palette. Awesome pigmented eye shadows and the color variety is the best point about this palette. I find it to be versatile and this one may be my favorite, great spring and summer colors.

Here is an EOTD makeup look that created and hope you like it

What do you think of this palette? Make sure to leave your comments. I love to read them.

Thanks for checking out my blog everyone, and have a great day! I’d see you again on the next one.

Make A Mauve Maybelline Master Glaze Stick Blush (Review & Swatch)

I always feel that the drugstore world is kinda lacking on the cream stick department, so Master Glaze Stick by Maybelline fills the void up. Do you feel the same way too!

Let’s start to read here.

So, last week I gave you some sneak peeks at some discovered Maybelline products in my previous post. I’ve put a link here for easy reference.

These are typically sell for C$8.00 -$10.00 depending where you get them. Each is a chubby little swivel up blush stick that holds 0.24 oz of product. I’ve the shade Make A Mauve by Maybelline  which is a pretty color but I may say it’s a little to dark for my skin tone when I told you about my impulse buy.

The shade I got is a deep mauve plum tone which is pretty color for darker skin type. Love the formula. It blends like a dream and a little goes a long way. The swatch below I did with one swipe. Look how pigmented and moist this Master Glaze product is.

I noticed that this dark mauve blush gives a pretty pearly finish on cheeks. I want to point it out that this blush  has very nice pigmentation, it’s creamy, and can be worn sheered out or built for a lovely pop.

It’s quite a nice color and I’ll likely get a nice bit of use out of it for light, natural Summer looks to blend with lighter coral blush to muff it up.

All in all, I’m happy with the product especially the formula and how easy to work on blending. It’s travel friendly which is also a plus if you’re someone who travels a lot.

So what do you think, Maybelline fans? Are you exited to share your comments below?

Thanks so much for taking the time to read. I’ll see you again on the next one 🙂

Mac Pro Longwear Concealer|review

For all my beauty friends who knows that recently, I have been packing in some great makeup products from MAC in my vanity and today is of no exception. I picked this MAC Pro Longwear concealer in NC20 a few days ago. Net wt: 0.30 fl oz

mac concealer (2)

Admittedly , due to my back pain I have not been able to sleep nearly as well as I used to which is good news for testing out this new concealer given that the dark circle under my eyes are getting more prevalent than they normally are.

close up look mac

mac pro longwear pump applicator mac

The packaging is so so only for a high end product. The downside of this Pro Longwear concealer is its pump applicator. It’s quite frustrating to try to dispense the formula from the plastic bottle. I think MAC should improve on their pump applicator since I believe many will encounter the same problem as me.

nc 20 mac

The consistency of this concealer is amazing. It is not too thick even though it feels creamy when I dispensed out from the pump applicator. With this amount it was able to cover both eyes beautifully. It has a slight hint of sweet scents but nothing too overwhelming. Sorry! I’m not very good at describing scents 😦

color blend mac

NC20 shade fits my skin tone nicely and I don’t feel as if I’m wearing an eye mask. With just one pump, I can sheer it out into an all over eyes coverage. A little goes a long way!

apply on dark circlemac conceler dark circlesBefore and After

Let’s put this concealer to the test. You can see the before and after images above. I only apply on the dark circles under my eyes using my finger tips. This liquid concealer blends nicely on my skin and evens out quickly. It lasted me for a good eight hours without creasing or budging which is a great deal for many of us. This concealer manages to conceal most of my dark circles which has gain a plus sign from me.

Overall, I think this concealer is a winner in my book and will definitely repurchase again once I ran out. I love how the formula blends and the natural effect this concealer gives let’s not forget how long lasting.

What do you think of this MAC concealer? Have you tried them before. If yes, in which shade did you picked?

Thank you for taking the time reading.

Top 5 Tuesday Favorite Face Products … you don’t want to miss!

Hey beauties! Today, I wanted to share my post about my Top 5 Favorite face products. Despite the fact that I have dozens of various makeup products at my fingertips, I have chosen 5 top picks which I love using.

Top 5 Face Products

top 5 tuesday favorite makeup

Bourjois Brush Concealer/Laura Mercier Foundation Primer/Tarte Amazonian Clay Bronzer/Revlon Classy Coral Blush/Cover Girl Ready Get Set Gorgeous Foundation

laura mercier primer

Let me start with my first top picks which is the Laura Mercier foundation primer. It has become one of my most recent love due to the fact that it’s so smooth and silky with the effect of making my skin feels light and easy. Since I put on primer before foundation, I really enjoy wearing Laura Mercier’s foundation primer for a flawless and fresh looking skin.

covergirl foundation

The second face product which I used every time I did my makeup will be the foundation. I have various type of foundations which I have tried and tested but I still love doing my face with this Cover Girl Ready Set Gorgeous foundation. I love how natural and flawless this foundation provides. Coupled with an amazing primer, this foundation will guarantee to last all day. The one I’m wearing is in 220 (soft honey).

Bourjois concealer

I always wear my concealer after applying the foundation. Since Bourjois is one of my favorite drugstore brand makeup, I love how this concealer works on my dark circle under my eyes and eyelids. It gives a radiant and the coverage is wonderful.

tarte bronzer

Okay, all the sun-tanning during the summer had slowly diminished as winter rushing in. Well, I usually gets a little paler comes January and I just thought that I have to put some warmth glow on my face.  I got this Tarte Amazonian Clay bronzer from Sephora in the summer. Some of you might be skeptical about wearing a bronzer in the winter, but as long as the bronzer is not too shimmery or not too dark shade then contouring it with a blush will gives a pretty glow.

revlon blush

The last face product in my list will be my Revlon powder blush. It’s smooth and it has a nice and lovely finish. I love how pigmented this powder blush is and love the coverage and it’s so blendable. The color of this Classy Coral adds a natural flush colors on my complexion instantly.

So, there you have it some of my 5 Top face products which are my favorites.

Have you any of the face products that I mentioned above? Please comment below.

Thanks for stopping by.

Urban Decay Vice 2 Eyeshadow Palette Swatches

Hey guys!

Today, I will be doing something different from my weekly Top 5 Tuesday Favorites. I would like to talk about Urban Decay VICE 2 eyeshadow palette. As some of you may know, I lusted after Urban Decay palette ever since I posted it’s new released of Vice 3 lasted Oct. But instead of getting Vice 3, I opt for Vice 2 since I personally love the color shades more.

I put my order online and I received it on time to make this review and color swatches to share with everyone.

UD Vice 2

Vice 2 has its unique packaging and color palette behind the box.

color swatches VIce 2

look at her there, isn’t she beautiful!

casing opener

This plastic casing looks very pretty. The palette is housed in a large plastic palette where the lid releases upon pressing on the push button. It has a large mirror inside the lid.

vice ub

It has excellent pigmentation, this palette is nice with soft and lovely shades. It wears well and do not fade or crease over eight hours (without a primer).

line 1   shadow line 3

I don’t seems to be able to find any misses on the color payoff except the X-Rated. I find that it’s a little drier, and the cool toned pink is too light or sheen and must layer up a couple of times as compared to other shades in the palette. The shades like Prank, Lovesick, Voodoo and Toxic are a little bit rough due to the metallic formula but overall all of these have rich pigmentation. It’s super easy to blend and I really enjoy the finishing look.

There are a lot of shades that has micro-glitter or micro-sparkle on it but I didn’t notice on half on them. I only notice fall out with a few shades but nothing was too problematic. Seeing this palette, I’m totally surprised that I don’t mind with some of the subtle glittering even though I’m more of a matte type of person. I got to admit that these gorgeous shades really make my day. I would recommend this to a friend.

shadow 2 shadow 6shadow 3 shadow 1

shadow 4 shadow 4 (2)

Having said that, all the colors are incredibly bright and vibrant. It’s a perfect palette for those who loves to play with eye makeup. I have been trying out many of the shades and I can mixed my own shades which i find them useful.

wrist swatches vice 2 color swatches

I did the color swatches on all twenty color shades and it comes out pretty on the skin. The only 2 shades which are matte are Habit and Rewind. The rest of them has a metallic iridescent micro glitter finish.

golden smokey eyes (2) prank and dope

Stroke & Damaged shades                           Prank & Dope shades

Overall, I really love this eyeshadow palette and I can go over and over again talking on how amazing these shades are. But I’ll save it until you have try them yourselves.

I can use all the shades in this palette by wearing in for day or night. Such gorgeous color and you have to try it to believe it!

Frankly speaking, I’m obsessed with it and do take note that this palette is a limited edition and it will sell out. Fair warning right!

You can pick this up at Sephora and for $59.00 before stock last.

Will you be picking this VICE 2 eyeshadow palette? I love to know.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Beauty Haul – Combo Mix Makeup

Happy Friday friends!

Finally, I got some of the makeup for this week’s beauty haul that I have been meaning to talk about. I got them from different drugstores and at Target. So, this is going to be an exciting haul since as you can see they’re sort of a mixed an match haul. Let’s see what I hauled in the bag 🙂

beauty haul beauty haul combo

elf HD Blush in Diva  from Target for $8.00 (net wt: 0.34 fl oz).

Maybelline Big Eyes Waterproof Mascara in Black (net wt: 0.29 oz)

The Body Shop Concealer Pencil in 04 for $12.00 (net wt: 0.13 oz)

Nivea Pure & Natural in Milk & Honey (net wt: 0.17 oz)

Physician Formula Happy Booster in Bronze/Natural (net wt: 0.38 oz)

Sax Elegant Makeup Book in Fantaisie de printemps for $7.99

elf hd blush

I picked this elf HD Blush in Diva because it has such a lovely and vibrant color. I tried it on my hand before picking it up and the pigmentation is remarkable. It might be a little too pinkish for me but I have to try it anyway. I just love the fact that with just a tiny squish of this formula, is enough to cover both my cheeks. There are 5 beautiful shades available to choose from.

So, a little goes a looong way. Besides, the price is reasonable and the quality is good. I like this bottle packaging that comes with a pump. The downside of this elf blush is that is has a heavy color stains. I feel that it’s impossible to blend well especially when it started to dries up. You will like it if you have been using liquid blushes before.

eyepalette sax

Sax Eyeshadow Book is another item which I picked up at  my local drugstore. Sax is an Australia cosmetic brand. I put a link here SAX. I just loved the packaging and bought it for that reason. There are 12 color shadows and all having shimmery finish. Average pigment formula and soft in texture. It consists of 2 pretty blushes which has nice dewy coverage. I paid $7.99 for this book.

maybelline masara big eyes

The next is Maybelline Big Eyes waterproof mascara. Well, I’m not a big fan of mascara because it gets messy on me but when I do, I love to wear pretty mascara that can elevate my lashes more. I picked this because of the duo ended brush. One for the upper lashes and the other end for the bottom lash. I read some good reviews on this product and so I wanted to try it.

the body shop concealer

The body Shop Concealer Pencil is something that I have been longing to get. Since I have dark circle under my eyes, this is like my most wanted makeup ever. It masked blemishes, uneven skin tone and redness. It has 5 color shades to select. Definitely a good buy for me. Anyways, I will try it and share  my 2 cents in my next post.

nivea lip balm (2)

Okay, this Nivea lip balm is more of a random picked since it was on sale. I have used Nivea products before but never on lip balms. So, I don’t mind trying it out and see if I like it. And since I have too many lip balms already, I’ll give it to my husband to use. It has these pure and natural formula that I’m sure my husband will love.

physician formula blush

Last but not least, is the Physician Formula Happy Booster. It serves as a bronzer and blush. Again, love the packaging. It’s light and has a mirror on the second tier compartment that comes together with a brush. Will definitely try it and review coming soon!

So, there you have it. A combo mixed of all the beauty haul that I have purchased and hope you like it.

When was the last time you bought a random drugstore makeup? Please leave comment below. I love to hear from you.

Thanks for reading.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick (The Rio Collection)

Alright …. summer is almost coming to and end and I wouldn’t want to end my summer not giving my first impression on these amazing Revlon Super Lustrous Rio Collection lipsticks. I got mine at Target and it’s priced for $7.99. I picked up two of my favorite shades in Carnival Spirit and Sultry Samba.

For this Rio Collection, available in 3 lovely shades of : –

  • Carnival Spirit -a sheer  coral orangy (shine) . It is moist and with light texture. I also picked up this Carnival Spirit to compare the sheer and matte formula. I wore it for more than 3 hours and the color still stays on my lips eventhough the moisture has dried up a little. I wore this as a lip gloss since the texture is very sheer.

  • Sultry Samba – a matte velvety bright pink. It is drier than the other two formulas. It is creamy and the matte stays on without color transferring. I wore them for my makeup review and to my suprised the bright pink doesn’t seems too pinkish on my lips. I have warm undertone and usually pink is the color that I will avoid. Well, Revlon has done it again. I like this Sultry Samba already.
  • Brazilian Tan – a creamy formula. It would be perfect if you are warm tone and who like nude color for everyday wear.

This is one of my favourite drugstore lipstick brand and Revlon hasn’t disappointed me yet. I would love to see more of Revlon’s matte lipsticks in the drugstores.

Have you tried any of these lippies? Please leave comment below.

Thanks for reading.
