Brand Spotlight – Maybelline Beauty Products

Hey Guys! What’s going on? The brand spotlight discovery I tried for the past one year and I repurchase them again. I’ll be sharing with you the brand spotlight this month from the drugstore makeup.

I picked these two beauty products in this particular for today’s post. I’ve listed it down below. So, let’s jump right in.

Let’s start with my face favorite. How can I not mention Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind Dark Spot Concealer + Treatment? As you can see I repurchased two more bottles from this brand since I went through them quite fast.

I’ve used it a lot. Not only do I use it under my eyes but I like to apply it on areas I need more coverage. For instance I will dab it around my nose, under my eye and over any blemishes I may have that day. It did a good job on blurring and covering. One tip I like to share is that you can use it as a base on your eyes and it works as an eye primer.

I use the light pale color under my eyes and dark spots. I applied using the applicator sponge to bring out the products and with my blender I even it out. Goes on nice and smooth and it leaves a nice texture & not cakey. It gives a nice and flawless finish look that I really like. It’s a concealer that I’ve been reaching out again lately.

Here’s the color swatch and the consistency. It’s not too runny or thick. It’s perfect consistency and a right shade for my skin tone. It lasts about 8 hours and I’m quite impressed to say the least. This is a good concealer that can literally cover everything.  If you’re looking for really high coverage go for this, it’s a decent drugstore price and it blends out like a dream and is fabulously flawless. This is a concealer that I’ll always keep repurchasing, it really is good.

Now let’s more on to eyeshadow.

I’ve mentioned this Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Eyeshadow in my previous post a long while ago and since I liked it so much, I want to talk more about it. Maybelline Color Tattoo pots are one of the best performing cream eyeshadow I’ve ever tried from the drugstore and here’s why.

My latest conquer is this Audacious Asphalt, which is a dark silver with metallic finish. It’s one of the permanent Maybelline Color Tattoo range. Such a pretty shade!

As for the packaging, each shade comes in a thick and heavy glass pot similar to MAC’s Paintpots, with a black screw cap.

I really like the formula and wear them alone when I’m in a rush. It made an instant everyday wearable smokey eye. I like that it’s easy to blend with fingers and so less effort required when you’re in a hurry. Or alternatively, you can use a synthetic brush to do the job. The pigmentation is insane and intense.  The formula is so good, that even worn alone, without a base or a powder eye shadow on top, it won’t budge, fade or smudge.

You can use them as an eye primer, to intensify your powder eye shadows or loose pigments, as a waterproof eyeliner, as an intensely pigmented eye shadow.  The Color Tattoos are buildable, so they can take you from a fresh, colorful to intense looks your heart desire.

Just look how pretty the color swatch is! This is done on a single swipe on bare hands. Color payoff varies from good to great over these four shades, some are more opaque than others. I’ll be going back to grab the shade Tough as Taupe for my collection.

If you like a well maintain, multitasking eyeshadow then look no further. You’re going to like this one. I wouldn’t blame you if you ran out right now to pick up one… or two… or four.

Conclusion, Maybelline is a staple drugstore makeup brand that offers an amazing varieties of makeup products from lipsticks to eyeshadows, concealers, primers, eyeliners, blushes and foundation etc to find. Just like any other brands, there surely are products that performs much better than the other but it’s a brand that you mustn’t overlook when it comes to budget spend. Drugstore brands are stepping up to their game in the cosmetics world where I’ve seen some perform better than the high end brands in quality and prices.

This concludes this month’s brand spotlight and hope you’ve enjoyed reading and find this post helpful.

Have any of you tried Maybelline Color Tattoo creme eyeshadows? If so, what did you think.

Thank you for taking the time to read! Hope to see you again on the next one. Bye!

Beauty Review & Swatches – Sephora

But first, if you haven’t already seen my earlier Sephora Paintly Pink Unboxing, here’s a little run down of what to expect and there are four which I’m so excited to talk about today. If you want to know more, keep on reading until the end and I’ll explain all.

Laura Mercier Velour Lovers Lip Color in French Kiss

I always wanted to try Laura Mercier products and I was super excited when I got this in this Paintly Pink Box and it’s a full size 0.12 oz. Oh Sephora! You just made my day, so thank you. All the products here are all premium as well.

Here’s a closed up look of french kiss. Look how amazing the color is and let me tell you guys, the packaging is everything. Just look at that – isn’t it gorgeous or what! Comes in a rectangle shape packaging that looks so luxe!

This is a beautiful fuchsia Velour Lovers Color Lipstick in French Kiss. It’s so creamy, smooth and soft. It feels lightweight on lips and the formula is amazingly. Very comfortable on lips. I also love the velvety finishing look. So, love this!

The pigmentation is so amazing. Super easy to glide on lips and love the staying power. I’m wearing it today and I feel super gorgeous! Yes, I know (hahaha!)

Pros: Packaging, Pigmentation, Color pay-off, Comfort, Longevity, Finish, Amazing fuchsia shade
Cons: Price a little expensive on regular size tube (CAD$34)

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pressed Rose Gold

Hmm.. I don’t remember having a Becca makeup products before and not to mention ever playing with their shimmery skin perfector. Yes, I’m such a dork! But, I don’t care. I’m just thrilled to get to play with it since I’ve been eyeing on it for a solid good year.

The color I got is in Rose Gold. I noticed there isn’t any scents to it, which is good. I like that! This pressed formula is really smooth and the pigmentation – Oh Nelly! It’s just glorious! It’s so so pretty with just one swipe I applied for highlight. They really mean business when it comes to highlight, I tell ya’. Love it so so much. And a little goes a long way.

Amazing color payoff and I couldn’t resist not to reach it. And look how cute the round packaging is!

I kid you not, you really have to try this. Ask for sample or swatch it at the nearest Sephora near you. Don’t take my word for it – just go and do it!

Pros: Awesome Color Pay-off, High Shine Finish, Nice shade
Cons: None

Make Up Forever Artist Plexi Gloss 202

I was so happy to get this lip gloss and had been reaching out for it the last few weeks. If you follow me on Instagram, you should probably had seen me posting it there. Let me know what you think in the comment.

This is a lovely coral that is noticeable on the lips but not over the top.

It comes in a doe foot shape applicator that’s flexible on the tip end. Really like this ingenious idea. The applicator take up the product with ease and it applies very well on lips. I find the formula to be quite pleasant and it didn’t bother me that much as a lip gloss. It gives a sheer glossy finish look that make lips fuller and sexier!

Pros: Awesome pigmentation, lovely formula. Easy to blend doe foot applicator, dewy and plumpy finish. It has good lasting power for a gloss but it is rather thick and a bit sticky which helps it last longer, if that make sense.
Cons: Price might be the downside

Deborah Lipmann Nail Polish in Baby Love

Love the cute packaging. It has this luxury look that’s pleasing to the eyes.

As for application, they are surprisingly smooth. I wore this nail polish for more than a week wit 3-4 coats and I’m quite impressed with the staying power.

I’ve seen this brand and did color swatches at Winners (Canadian retail stores) before but none of the shades actually calls to me and especially the glitters ones.

But I really like this Baby Love shade though. I love that it makes my nails looks so flattering as though as they’re my nails but better !

Pros: Love the color,  long lasting up to 7-10 days (with 3-4 coats)
Cons: Most overpriced, sheer finishing (but layering up will make nails look  so pretty)

I would definitely pickup a few fall colors to my collection when they’re on sale. As much as I love the formula and staying power, I wouldn’t pay $20 for a nail polish. That’s just my opinion.

Overall, I really like what I got in my Paintly Pink Sephora Favorites box. I’m very impressed and satisfied with the products I got.

I’m sure all the above-mentioned product brands are works by whoever the teams have been behind their own products, they’ve definitely done the brand justice. The prices reflect the quality of the products and the brand name they carry, so yes, they are expensive but in my opinion – it’s still worth the investment.

This concludes today’s review and swatches. I hope you find this post helpful and your enjoyed it.

As usual, thank you very much for stopping by. Until next time, stay beautiful!

Bye for now!

The Great Unknown – Almay TLC Liquid Foundation

Hey guys! ,

Yes, I raved about this Almay Truly Lasting Color Foundation in my previous post that I’ll link here for you guys. Today, I’m showing you my new purchase of the Almay TLC in the shade 220 Neutral.

I know it’s strange but believe me when I tell you that, I would picked up 2-3 similar products on one go if I really really love them. Whether it’s clothing, shoes, makeup or purse. Does this ever happen to anyone? Let me know in the comment below.

Any foundation formula that feels like my second skin, I’m in for that. This is my favorite drugstore brand for now. Yes, I not only got one but two bottles, the second bottle which I recently picked up as backup.

I did mentioned on my previous post at Express Beauty Blog that Shoppers Drug Mart had discontinued with the Almay brand. But I believe other drugstores are still carrying them. Anyways, when I saw this at the liquidation rack, I snatched it immeditately. The color is what I needed for my backup. It was on sale for $4.00 and it’s the only bottle left. A Win!

It’s lightweight and keeps the area hydrated and it gives a pretty coverage that it’s not cakey. It blends easily, covers amazingly and last so long. There’s really nothing not to love about this foundation.

One main thing I hate is a heavy oily foundation or anything so powdery it just gets into your pores and clogs them. This foundation is not like that at all, which is pretty awesome!

I find the blend ability is good, it doesn’t irritate skin and leaves a semi matte finish. I would say the coverage is medium and buildable. I have had no issues with it being cakey whatsoever.

If you’re looking for a reliable and yet natural looking appearance, look no further. I highly recommend. Check out this one in the drugstore near you. I just want to put it out that it may be a little pricey compared to other drugstore brand but if you can wait for coupon or reward points, then you would get for a good steal.

What do you think of this product? Comment below what you think.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope I’ll see you guys again on the next one. Bye!

Smarten Up Milani Earthy Elements Review & Swatches

Hey everyone! Today I wanted to do a blog post on one of my favorite Cruelty Free Drugstore brand, yes it’s the new Milani Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette.

I’m super excited already. Let’s get on with it! ):

First of all, I want to mention that this palette housed six gorgeous shadows. Inside this palette is a double ended brush which actually works. It’s not those crappy drugstore sponge applicator you threw right away.

I really really love the color selections in this palette. Very earthly and neutral tones. When I used this for the first time, I was absolutely blown away! I would recommend this to anyone who likes a warm neutral tone eyeshadowsas it’s incredibly pigmented with amazing finishing.

The pigmentation varies from shade to shade, but they are all smooth so I don’t foresee any trouble once they are paired with a good primer or base. I especially love the orangey/ red and bronzey eyeshadow in 05 Earthly Elements! So beautiful!

The reason I enjoy this for day-to-day wear is its super quick to apply, and super build- able. It’s great to just throw on before I head out the door. If you love earthly neutral shadows, you’ll love this palette.

Warm range color tone which I can wear everyday. Love love the color selection in this palette. All the shadows are highly pigmented and the shade perfect for spring/summer look.

The formula on this palette is of  matte, satin and frosty finish.

Will you be picking anything up from Milani?

Thanks so much for reading! And I’ll catch up with you guys on the next one!

Kat Von D Monarch Palette – REVIEW

You guys, I’m calling it – this palette was the best money I spent  in the past years (make-up-wise, to avoid sounding too shallow). I’m so happy I took the plunge and got it. This is definitely not the new eyeshadow palette by Kat Von D but it’s definitely new to me. After so much hemming and raving, I caved in and bought it.

The colour range is versatile, mainly because there are more useful lid shades for my skin tone and eye colour, and I love every single shade in this palette. The pigmentation of this palette is outstanding, they apply and blend so nicely. It’s worth the hyped in my opinion.

Inside Monarch you get twelve warm-toned eyeshadows  as well as a mirror and they are all encased in a heavy duty, sturdy cardboard magnetized palette.

The colors are highly pigmented, but buildable, and they blend like a dream. This palette comes with 3 base shades and 9 accent hues.

Price-wise, at CAD$55.00 it’s about what I’d expect a mid-range luxury eyeshadow palette to be. But, you do get a decent amount of product, and with every color being wearable and usable, I feel like that’s a fair price. Available at Sephora

These colors are perfect for a natural look to an intense smokey eye. And they are so pigmented. I notice some fallout when wearing them. Make sure to tap off extra product before applying to ensure that it doesn’t end up all over your cheek (I can be a messy makeup applier!). Here is what I noticed:

  • Smooth, buttery texture that’s easy to blend.
  • Strong color quality.
  • Shadows wear well without creasing or fading.
  • Attractive colors that work well in a variety of combinations.

  • A little chalky on the formula when I did the swatch but I didn’t notice anything terrible happening on lids.

Color swatch on my bare hands (without eye primer).

1st Quad from left to right

Entomology is a is a matte cream.

Wrath is a coppery orange with pearl.

Papilio is a medium chocolate with pearl.

Summerfly is a glittery gold.

2nd Quad

Telepathy is a pale champagne pearl.

Killing Jar is a pale pink/copper pearl.

Delaney is a silver/grey with pearl.

Vanish is a light taupe matte.

3rd Quad

Tiny Death is a cream with fine gold glitter.

Disintegration is a brown with pearl.

Shadow Box is a dark chocolate brown matte.

Deadhead is a black matte.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I found nearly all of these shades to be super soft, finely milled and very pigmented. The first four are stunning all together. The second four are all also nicely pigmented but have a lighter finish for a softer look. The final four are mostly deep and the two matte shades are not patchy whatsoever.

Overall, I’m impressed and it’s totally worth the money. I have nothing bad to say about these shadows except with a minor fallout from Summerfly shadow. Otherwise, they are all standouts. I’d definitely love to get more of these Kat Von D Eyeshadow Palettes. If you haven’t tried any of it yet, I’d recommend this one.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read. Hope to see you on the next one! Bye!

Trash or Treasure? Anastasia Palette

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERATHIS palette has been in my wishlist since last year and hearing so many beauty Youtubers raved about it. You know that I love trying out new or beauty products and been curious. Okay, I admit that curiosity is my weakness!

To proof my point here is the palette I acquired last month and feeling real excited to share my opinion with all of you.

Anastasia BEVERLY Hills Artist Palette with twelve colorful eyeshadows in this palette. This product gives you a matte, velvety and shimmery finish.

The disappointing shades are Navy Blue and Unicorn other then that this palette is pretty and if you could get your hands on this palette then you should. I like the variety of colors, although I can’t use some of them often it is a nice palette to have! The eyeshadow brush with it is also great.

I’ve listed down each shadow based on its color tones, texture, formula and longevity below. Continue reading …

Dusty Rose is a matte mauve with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had good color payoff, but it was fairly powdery, even though it was blendable.

Aubergine is plum velvet with a shimmer pearly sheen. good pigmentation with a softer, thinner texture that had a more velvety, silky feeling to it

Anaconda is shimmery forest green with golden frosted shimmer finish. It had nice color payoff with a soft, blendable texture that applied well to bare skin and didn’t need primer to function.

Coal is a matte black.  It had good pigmentation with a slight powderiness, but it wasn’t too bad. It needs a primer to blend.

Unicorn is a cobalt blue with a hint of purple over matte finish. It’s sheer, dry, powdery and short-wearing.

Phresh is a matte bright yellow with bright undertone matte finish. I noticed that this palette really doesn’t work without a primer of some sort.

Punch Fuschia is of pinky purple with a violet sheen. I feel that the formula is a bit dry and didn’t seems to stay as intense after six hours of wear .

Buttery is a pale yellow with warm undertones and matte finish. Noticed the texture to be silky and creamy-like feeling from the pan. Looks a little powdery but could last well for eight hours. It doesn’t feel chalky with good color payoff on skin.

Blue Velvet is navy cool undertones with shimmery finish. This is the worst shades from this palette. It’s thin, muted, dry, sheen and difficult to blend n lids. Definitely need white base to help it to perform decently.

Baby I’m A Star is a dark brown warm tone shade with pearly finish. Good pigmentation    and it applied better when I was using it in practice than it did on my arm. I really like this shade.

Orange You Fancy is a shimmery orange that has warm undertones. Unfortunately, this shade is also dry and powdery which makes it gives out excess product. Average pigmentation in my opinion.

Beigely is a shimmery beige with warm undertones that gives a metallic pewter finish. Pretty color payoff ad blends well on lid.

These aren’t everyday colors as I mentioned earlier, this is more when you want a pop to color to another look or step out of your comfort zone. The price isn’t too bad considering some of the other prices out there.

I really like this palette based on my first impression review but I’m going to continue wearing them and report back if my opinion changed. From this palette my favorite shades are Dusty Rose, Aubergine, Anaconda, Baby I’m A Star and Orange You Fancy. If you want color palettes then get this.

Available at Sephora, Nordstroms and Ulta.

Alrighty, so that’s pretty much it for today’s post! Hope to see on the next one.

Thank you for taking the time to read. .

eyeliner by prestige

Classic Khol Eyeliner Pencil by Prestige Cosmetics. Net wet: 0.04 oz for $3.95 at online website. You can find this brand at Ulta or London Drugs and some selected Canadian drugstores at Shoppers Drug Mart, Jean Coutu and Uniprix.

I picked up mine at Uniprix while I was there to get my prescription drugs. I’ve several of these eyeliners by Prestige in different colors and I’m pleased to say that it has perform well as an eyeliner in my opinion.

This eyeliner is a beautiful, Brown. While it seems not my typical eyeliner color, I have worn it in place of my typical black eyeliner for a few days and have found it to be gorgeous.

The formulation is fairly creamy on the eye. While I think it could glide on a bit easier, it is still a fairly good texture. You can use it for smokey eye makeup which I’ll show you in this post.

It’s not bad for the price, and there are plenty of traditional and funky colors available, but it needs sharpening which is the only downside I noticed.

I really like how it glides without resulting in tugging or pulling on your lash line.

That concludes my review today. Hope you liked this post and find it interesting.

Which is your favorite color eyeliner apart from the typical black liner? I love to hear your comments in the section below.

Ciaté Nail Polish – Sephora Bag!

ciate nail polish

I got this two items a few months ago all the way from Asia when my daughter went for vacation and  she got me these from  SephoraInside this Sephora bag is the Ciaté London Mini Paint Pot Nail Polish and Feathered Manicure. I’m excited an anxious to share what’s in the bag. Continue reading if you like to see more …

Why only do I posted this lovely Ciaté Nail Polish today. Well, honestly the shades are pretty much the fall colors and I just wanted to wait until it’s nearly fall to wear and share my views.

Let’s start with the nail polish in this cute packaging.

Everyone has their benchmark for ‘good nail polish’. Mine has become Ciaté recently. Love the Ciaté brand polishes, gorgeous opaque color, even wear and no chip for a week.

Also available at JC Penny, Sephora, Nordstrom and Amazon online. Each selling for CAD$10.00 at Sephora or purchase 3 for $18.00 with 30 shades to choose from.

In this package you get Tickle Me Crazy (Green), Knee Highs (Blue), Can Can (Burgundy), For The Frill Of It (Golden Bronze) and Sass Pot (Dark Purple).

The consistency of these polishes is very nice. They are highly pigmented with two coats are more than enough, without any streaking at all and no bubbling (even when applied thickly). Some might find the consistency a bit on the thick side but with the coverage and pigmentation I get, I have no complaints at all.

The application was fantastic, it gliding on so beautifully and was quite opaque for one coat! It dried very quickly also, so I didn’t have any smudges on my nails. The packaging of the bottle is immaculate! The handle of the nail varnish is a great size, which is nice for a steady application.

They also last really long. It can easily go 5-7 days with barely any chipping, even when applied just to my bare nails (no base coat or top coat).

Yay! Overall, these are definitely a great product. 100% recommend! Here are the color swatches of the nail polish. Ta…Da!!!

ciate manicure

Next is the Long Wearing Feathered manicure by Ciaté Nails. It cames in a nice box packaging. But inside is just a standard clear plastic showcase.  You can see the products and the nail color you like.

ciate feathered man icure

One Palette, Unlimited Possibilities: Vice 2 by Urban Decay

Thank you for stopping by my post, lovelies!

vice 2 urban decay eyeshadow palete

It’s time for one of my favorite posts again!!! It’s One Palette, Unlimited Possibilites update. I love doing this series because it really makes me use my eyeshadow palettes. I love palettes, I love buying palettes, and I seem to love storing palettes too… Because unless I force myself, I will just use what I’m used to, instead of trying out all the different things I have. Am I the only one?

So for this post, I chose to use Vice 2 Eyeshadow Palette by Urban Decay. I chose this palette for one specific reason, you must have known that Urban Decay Vice 4 has been released and I just want to put out Vice 2 in the radar before the new palette gets all the hype.

eyeshadow vice 2

These shadows are amazing. They are soft and buttery. They don’t kick up a ton of powder, wasting product. They blend amazingly well. They are pigmented. And they last. My shadow didn’t budge one bit. Lastly, you want to know that the packaging is sturdy and portable.

vice eyeshadow 1

Let’s start with what I loved. I loved how the shadows were separated with the top half being cool and the bottom being warm and how they were arranged from lightest to darkest. For whatever reason, it appeals to me visually when shadows are arranged that way. These shadows were great. They were creamy and blended well, they were easy to use, and I had no complaints about their functionality.

smokey eye

Here is my EOTD look which I created using the pink and brown shadows from this palette.

vice eyeshadow

Overall, my opinion is that if you don’t own a ton of vibrant eyeshadows, or a ton of eyeshadow palettes, you might love this palette and it may be all you need. But seeing as I am an avid makeup collector and have other things like this .. it’s a winner in my book.

Final Look! Done!
EOTD Look!<3

I hope you like this EOTD and you can hashtag or tweet me on the eye makeup look you create using Vice 2 Eyeshadow Palette. I have nothing negative to say about these. I love and recommend them. Go get you some!

Which Urban Decay Vice Palette would you be getting?  I love to hear from you in the comment below.

Mac Eyeshadow in Lucky Green|Review

mac eyeshadow

I’ve reviewed the Mac Eyeshadow a couple of times and now I wanted to share this eyeshadow in Lucky Green by Mac which is a perfect color trend for this fall. I love the appearance of the eye makeup look which I’ve created from other Mac eyeshadows. Feeling very inspired, I started working on several different ETOD makeup looks for this post. I hope you would find some inspiration and finding this post helpful.

September is the transition period from summer to fall and the colours screamed dark vampy purple, green, golden orange, brown and deep sultry red! Anyways, I’ll be doing more of the fall ETOD makeup look in my coming posts. So, please stay tuned!

This is a very shimmery cream eyeshadow that blends easily. I wasn’t so sure about this shade of green, but it’s subtle and goes on sheer. They recommend applying it with a small brush.

I love the rich pigmentation and the color payoff is awesome. Another thing is that the shade is true to its color. What you see is what you get! If you love green as much as I do, then this emerald green would be excellent for you.

The texture runs smoothly and it’s long wearing too. This color swatch is on bare hand. So pretty!

I really love the Mac Eyeshadow! It’s a fun, pretty, and pigmented eyeshadow to get an amazing eye makeup look with quality product.

What do you think of  Mac Eyeshadow? Don’t forget to leave your comment in the comment section below.

Ways To Wear Purple This Fall

by source
by source

It’s no secret that purple is one of my all-time favorite colors. I have a fair share of purple eyeshadows in my collection and I love to share talking about it in this post. Can anyone tell me if you have more purple products than most people have neutrals? I want to know. Are purples kind of like Pokémon for you, gotta collect ‘em all!

I love wearing purple eyeshadow on occasion! And when I do, I try to go all the way out with it. Purple is associated with royalty, wealth and power for centuries since Queen Elizabeth 1 reign.

Whether it’s a bright purple on the lid or a deeper purple in the crease, I love how purple looks as eyeshadow. Duochrome shades are definitely the best, since they’re multi-dimensional. Lighter iridescent purples are great to pop at the inner corner to highlight and open up the eyes. Purple mattes are perfect in the crease for contouring the eyes. I love wearing purple eyeshadow, it is super flattering on my brown eyes!

starlooks eyeliner

Purple is perfect for eyeliner too! My favorite purple eyeliner is the Gem Eye Pencil in Ultra Orchid by Starlooks, 24/7 Urban Decay Glide-On Eye Pencil from the purple colors of Vice to Empire and NARS Larger Than Life Long Wear Eyeliner in Bourbon Street. These also make great colored bases for eyeshadows too, to help intensify an eyeshadow color. They’re great for layering.

instain the balm

Purple blushes can be very intimidating. The Balm has the right plum shade that’s the most flattering, plumish purple blush that I’ve ever tried is the Instain Staining Blush in Pinstripe. For a softer pinky purple blush, try Makeup Geek Secret Admirer. Or go bold with a deep violet blush like Fyrinnae Royalty.

ciate nail polish

Nail Polish

There are so many amazing purple nail polishes out there that it’s hard to pick a favorite. My daughter bought me this Ciate Haute House Collection from Sephora Malaysia. I’ll be doing a full review for the fall nail polish hopefully next week.

What’s your favorite way to wear purple? Don’t forget o leave your comments down below.

Betty-Lou Manizer By TheBalm Bronzer|Review

First of all, look at this cool packaging by the Balm called Betty-Lou Manizer aka “The Bronzing Bandit”. The color spoke to me when I saw this online and I’m so pleased that I got it. Yipee!!!

betty lou packaging

Here’s what the outside packaging looks like and it gets better, continue reading …

betty lou bronzer

Told ya’ it’s gorgeous, right!

bronzer pan

You can score a sun-kissed glow with theBalm’s Betty-Lou Manizer. Betty-Lou is a silky smooth, all-in-one bronzing highlighter, shimmer and shadow. How neat is that!

In terms of the color, they believe in a silky smooth, “sun kissed glow”, which is right up my alley. So while you can get some decent pigment, this stuff is more about real-girl makeup to look fresh and pretty, instead of the heaviness on your skin. I like the formula number one and if it isn’t I wouldn’t wear it.

color swatch bronzer

You can see the color swatch swiped directly from the pan. It does have a little bit of a sheen. The pigmentation is really great and very universal where everyone can wear it. I really love the pretty color payoff on this pan. The texture is amazingly creamy with velvety finish. It blends surprisingly well.

on skin

This bronzer can be deep and dark if you packed it on but you can also go easy by applying it for a sun-kissed glow. This has been a great bronzer for me in the summer time  and I definitely wear it for transition to fall season, good news is that it’s been able to stand up to the factors for me. It has a really nice finish on my skin! Love, love this! ❤

I hope you guys have a great day and I’ll see you next time. Let me know if you like to read any other makeup products in the comment. I love to hear what you think 😀

Have you checked out the Balm yet? Which products are your favourites by far?

Thank you so much for stopping by. See you guys on the next one!
