Eyeshadow Addicts – Lise Watier Eden Tropical Palette

It’s no secret that I am an eyeshadow addict. I think you can never just have one eyeshadow palette. It’s practically impossible! It’s no surprise that I’m a proud owner of the not-so-little eyehshadow palette collection.

Note of caution: This post is picture heavy.

My latest eyeshadow palette entry is this Lise Watier Eden Tropical for CAD$43.00 (on regular price) but I got it from Winners with a discounted price. I’m not sure if this is a limited edition but I’m just happy I have this in my collection.

I was drawn not only to the inside eyesadow but also to this unique tropical design packaging on this compact casing palette. It’s made of a sturdy plastic housing six eyeshadows. It comes with a decent size mirror and two sponge applicator.

Now, let’s take a look at these colors:

This six shadow pan is packed with colors and super blendable texture. As expected,  this shadows are long lasting even without primer as I noticed that it doesn’t budge or crease all day. I’m wearing these shadows again today.

The texture of the shadows are with shimmer and metallic finishing. All the six shades really comes out really nice! Doing my happy dance! Oh yeah! Oh yeah!

i noticed that the formula delivers not only on the pigmentation front but is also long-wearing and stays put all day (I always use an eyeshadow primer underneath) without any creasing or fading.

Color swatches – using my fingers to pick straight from the pan. Amazing color for spring.

This palette has totally live up to its name and the formula delivers not only on the pigmentation front but is also long-wearing. I’m really impressed with the quality but given the high price tag, I’ll probably wear it more for special events.

These eyeshadow swatches show how powerful the pigment in this palette actually is. Gorgeous, don’t you think!

My thoughts:- I have nothing but good things to say about the Lise Watier Eden Tropical eyeshadows. I love the quality, the color selections and the value. I’m running over to my local Pharmaprix to grab some more products. I’m obsessed with this brand now (giggle).

Once again. Good job!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope to see you again on the next one!

Here’s what I got : Mineral Foundation, Mineral Blush, Makeup Base and Kabuki Brush in this Flawless Complexion Kit by Bellapierre.

First up is this fabulous Mineral Foundation. I got it in the shade Cinnamon. This shade has yellow undertone and is perfect match for medium skin tone person.

• Concealer
• Finishing Powder
• Setting Powder (Veil)

First of all I would like to talk about my skin type. I have combination dry skin type and the formula that I tried to avoid are those of mineral powder since powder products are prone to define pores and wrinkle lines.

I’ve never used loose powder foundation before as I was a bit scared that it’s going to be difficult to apply, or will it be too messy etc. I was skeptical, until I saw the results!

Well, I’ve never looked back. Love the way it goes on and stays on and looks great. And, it’s easy and quick to use while giving you a super natural look. I was impressed with the good coverage!!!

The powder is finely milled and looks best when applied on top of a moisturizer. It blends evenly and the powder hold up nicely. It is so light and feels smooths on the skin. Another good news is that it doesn’t make my face looks cakey or powdery. I’m beginning to fall for this mineral foundation.

The mineral foundation is perfect for my combination/dry skin and it lasts so much longer than any others that I’ve tried. Definitely worth the money!… a little goes a long way.

Would recommend this powder foundation if you prefer powder foundation. But if you have SUPER oily skin, I’d stay away.

Next is the Mineral Blush in Desert Rose for $20.00 on Bellapierre website. You can find them available in four pretty shades.

I don’t think I would say that they last the entire day, but with the right moisturizer or primer it  might work.

For a sheer, translucent and skin-hugging effect apply the mineral blush on the cheek bones, forehead or any areas you desired. Great blush with just enough sparkle!

makeup base

Makeup Base could be my next favorite products after Mac. Regular price selling for $18.99 for net wt: 8.5ml. If you’ve oily in, this make base is said to help provides your skin looking matte.

Apply make-up base with a clean finger all over the surrounding area of the eye, additionally the make-up base can also be used as a correction tool for blemishes.

bellapiere makeup base

I use bellapierre make-up base as concealer under my eyes since I have a problem with serious dark under eye circles 🙂 and will continue wearing it as my makeup regime. On their website, it says to apply  makeup base with a clean finger all over the eye where you plan to apply the shimmer. And will hold the shimmer powder even longer and as a corrector in case the powder gets a little messy.

I find that it’s lovely to apply the powder foundation, especially with the Bellapierre Kabuki brush, despite getting a bit powdery in the container – but I guess they all do that when you apply with a brush. instead of tapping the product into the lid, I tilted the jar and use the kabuki brush to pick up the products. I found this technique less messy.

The kabuki brush is soft and the handle is easy and comfortable to work on. It’s a must have bush in my opinion.

I would like to give credit to my little boy for contributing his artwork to this post. It was his halloween drawing and I was proud of him  ❤

Is mineral powder your go to products? Is it a Yay or Meh?

Thanks to all who stop by to read and extra thanks for your comments.
