Because I’m a sucker for luxury products, you might noticed that I’m always on the hunt for a great steal. My beauty products collection are actually stuff that I’ve picked up from Marshalls. Finding hidden gems are my favorite past time when shopping at Marshalls. Luxury beauty doesn’t always have to mean expensive prices. For this blog I thought to share with you guys some of my favorite affordable beauty products I picked up recently.
Let’s start with a product that’s fairly new to me … it’s the CLIO Clic Matte Pen Liner. If you’re a fan of k-beauty than you’re going to like this. Amazing liner that’s works effortlessly. It’s one of those products that delivers you instant results as soon as you use it. It’s really that good, trust me!
Close up look of the felt tip liner. It’s design and shape like a calligraphy brush for precision and style.
I went an extra mile to test out the pen liner for you guys. Here’s a Chinese character I scribble. This is so cool, right! But if you like to see a makeup tutorial using this product on my eye then click the link to my Instastories!
A little drop goes a long way with this Cleansing Oil by Clio Professional. This comes as set. You got a cleansing oil together with a calligraphy eyeliner. A perfect start up kit for your girlfriend or bestie who loves trying out K-beauty products. She’s going to love you to the moon and back!
This is the only product that’s not from Marshalls. I got this from a store in Pacific Mall during my last trip to Toronto. First time trying out a charcoal makeup remover is filled with anticipation and a pretty scary moment for me to say the least. I wasn’t expecting much since it’s my first time trying it but I was blown away by the nice and freshly scent of charcoal powder in this product by Purederm.
The non-textured wipe is durable and feel smooth on the skin. It’s non-abrasive texture makes it so easy to use. It’s gentle to the skin and efficiently clean dirt and all non waterproof makeup with just one wipe. I appreciate makeup wipes that don’t dry out the skin. For the price and the detoxifying formula, I would repurchase and I recommend it! Also available on Amazon and drugstores.
Moving on is this Kabuki Brush from Ib Innovation Beauty. One might mistakenly think that it’s the It Cosmetics brush but let me tell ya’ll, it’s not. The large face brush is very densely packed and relatively soft (not It Cosmetics soft but quite decent) I’d say. I appreciate brushes that doesn’t shed so this has become my newest choice of brush to pick to be added to my brush collection.
If you zoom in, you’ll see me but try to ignore it, okay! Focus on the head of the kabuki brush if you may. I was able to try this brush with my neutrogena hydro boost foundation and it blends beautifully. Felt great on my skin and to be honest I’m quite impressed. I can’t find much information about this brand but if you do, share it in the comment section below.
KAT VON D Lock-It Color Correcting Eyeshadow Primer in the shade Tan.
I’m pretty happy with the formula. It doesn’t feel dry on my eye . The texture is smooth and soft. It glides on effortlessly and blend nicely. Keeps my eyeshadow lock the entire day without the need to touch up. I love it!
Last but not least is the Kat Von D Studded Kiss Creme Lipstick in Homegirl. It’s described as a satin matte with a black berry color finish. This collection consists of 41 boldest shades and is available at Kat Von D online website.
This is such a pretty color if you’re looking for an evening wear or for a vampy to gothic finishing. The formula is pigmented and has a lovely matte finish to it. It glides nicely on lips and stays on for a good 6 hours and faded to a lip tint as the day wears on. With the cool tones formula, I’m pleased to see that my teeth to appear whiter when I have it on. It doesn’t feel drying at on the lips which I really appreciate. Go to my Insta-Stories to see live color swatches and lip swatch. I’m so in love which this color right now. Beautiful shade that’s perfect for Fall!
Hope you like this post and find it helpful. Thanks so much for stopping by and read!
Happy Fall Y’all!

Hi! These are some really great products, especially the colour of KVD lipstick😍 It’d have been really great, had you included the price you got them for 🙂

They do look like great products and it makes me glad that they are not that expensive! These would suit any woman’s budget. I will let my niece know about this. She loves make up but does not want to spend so much on them.
