By now, you guys might have guessed that I love talking and sharing my views and opinion on eyeshadow palettes. I’m obsessed and I’m not ashamed to admit it. But don’t get me wrong, I love everything about beauty and makeup but this is my most talked subject in my post for now. Eventually, I’ll be touching on other interesting and cool topics as the season changes. If you are an eyeshadow junkies like me, then you might want to continue reading …
Let’s get started:- lots of pictures below
Here are the two contenders. The top is The Nudes and the bottom The Blushed Nudes Palettes both by Maybelline. Palettes are available at any drugstores and online. Don’t forget to check them out if you’re on a budget spending. Prices below $15.00 depending on the drugstores and locations in the area.
The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette by Maybelline is a warm neutral nude eyeshadows. There are 12 shadows with six mattes and six shimmery finish. I did a full review awhile ago and here is the link if you like to read more about it.
Inside this palette holds all the shadows from light to mid tones and dark. Very versatile and I just love the colors in this palette. This palette is for every color tones. Perfect for everyday wear for a natural looking appearance or you can easily spice it up to a smokey and intense evening wear. Both looks are a delight to my eyes.
I’m excited so I can’t help but to do a color swatch again for your eyes only. Directly taken from the pan and swiped on my bare hands (no primer). The colors stay true and no creasing detected.
Another palette from Maybelline is the Blushed Nudes that was added to its new collection. This palette has more rosy pink undertone and some pretty shades on the bottom palette. If you love pink shadows and are pale skin, I believe this palette would work beautifully. The shades that can translate on my light to medium skin are the darker shades.
This palette has nice pigmentation and smooth texture. The textures on both palettes are similar. They’re smooth with no creasing at all. To read more about the full review, hit here for recent throwback.
Keep your eyes peeled for this color swatches. Applied on bare hands without eye primer, The top row looks invisible on my skin tone except the last shadow on the right and the rest are blendable and pretty easy to work with. I wasn’t that impressed with the lighter shadows. This palette has four matte shadows only compared to the Nudes palette which has six mattes.
Side by side color swatches of both palettes and the order of the shadows placed.
Let me close by saying, I am no artist. I am also not a professional beauty guru. And I will not be on the next season of the Reality TV Beauty Competition, lol. This is just how I wear my eye makeup that I’ve been so obsessed with. If you’re beginners then I hope this post would help to inspires you.
I always have fun working on makeup and wearing lovely eyeshadows and today, I’m sharing these eye makeup looks using Maybelline The Nudes and The Blushed Nudes shadows. I would repurchase the Nudes palette in a heartbeat if I needed to (I obviously don’t and have enough eyeshadow to last a hundred lifetimes). But some of those shades are just beautiful. For the price and quality, I say GO for it. The Nudes or The Blushed Nudes, the choice is yours!
Let me know if you try this out! Or if you have another way of doing your eye makeup look!!!
Thanks so much for taking your time to read.

Eh, I haven’t had the best luck with Maybelline eye shadows – they seem to fade on my eye lids, but I would be curious to try the Nudes palette – looks like a good one to take on a trip. And if it breaks, well, it wasn’t TOO expensive.
