Hi guys! Today I will be going to share with you how I did my smokey eyes look using this fabulous Revlon Colorstay stick. I did my mini beauty haul last Friday and I’m just so excited to try it out. I’m also showing some of the steps which I thought might be helpful and easier to explain.
This Smokey eyeshadow stick is so creamy and easy to glide. It has some shimmer especially on the lighter shade.
Doing an extreme smokey eyes was easy since they doesn’t have to be so precise! I started with this Revlon Colorstay stick as the base. I applied them on my eyelids as if applying an eyeshadow.
Then I proceeded to apply the lighter shade on the crease and under my brows. Once I have these two shades on my lids, I started to swirl the shades with the brush in order to mix the two color shadows.
The next step is using the same dark shade stick, I applied it on my lower lash line. I did a thicker lower shadow but it’s okay, I can cleaned up the edges with a Q-tip.
Once I have the shape of what I wanted my smokey eyes to look like, I then put a little darker shade on the outer eyes in order to extend the shadow beyond my natural eye shape for bigger and dramatic look.
For an even more dramatic smokey eyes look, I used a liquid eyeliner from Essence to draw a cat eye liner. Next for the bottom waterline lashes, I used a white eyeliner from Essence for a bigger and bolder look.
I curled up my upper lashes with my recent fave the Covergirl Lash Blast mascara. It gives a perfect lash volume which I wanted. I just did the upper lashes and omit the bottom part since I’ve already had a dark shade shadow. This Revlon Colorstay shadow stick has a creamy and rich pigment texture that make doing this smokey look a breeze.
I’m definitely going to wear this for a night out since I’m doing an extreme smokey eyes here which are bold and sexy. It has some shimmer finish look but on the other hand it’s not overwhelmingly shinny. really love the color finished. It’s totally amazing!
