Dramatic Smokey Eyes – Revlon ColorStay Eyeshadow Stick

Hi guys! Today I will be going to share with you how I did my smokey eyes look using this fabulous Revlon Colorstay stick.  I did my mini beauty haul last Friday and I’m just so excited to try it out. I’m also showing some of the steps which I thought might be helpful and easier to explain.

This Smokey eyeshadow stick is so creamy and easy to glide. It has some shimmer especially on the lighter shade.

Doing an extreme smokey eyes was easy since they doesn’t have to be so precise! I started with this Revlon Colorstay stick as the base. I applied them on my eyelids as if applying an eyeshadow.

Then I proceeded to apply the lighter shade on the crease and under my brows. Once I have these two shades on my lids, I started to swirl the shades with the brush in order to mix the two color shadows.

The next step is using the same dark shade stick, I applied it on my lower lash line. I did a thicker lower shadow but it’s okay, I can cleaned up the edges with a Q-tip.

Once I have the shape of what I wanted my smokey eyes to look like, I then put a little darker shade on the outer eyes in order to extend the shadow beyond my natural eye shape for bigger and dramatic look.

For an even more dramatic smokey eyes look, I used a liquid eyeliner from Essence to draw a cat eye liner. Next for the bottom waterline lashes, I used a white eyeliner from Essence for a bigger and bolder look.

mascara

I curled up my upper lashes with my recent fave the Covergirl Lash Blast mascara. It gives a perfect lash volume which I wanted. I just did the upper lashes and omit the bottom part since I’ve already had a dark shade shadow. This Revlon Colorstay shadow stick has a creamy and rich pigment texture that make doing this smokey look a breeze.

I’m definitely going to wear this for a night out since I’m doing an extreme smokey eyes here which are bold and sexy. It has some shimmer finish look but on the other hand it’s not overwhelmingly shinny. really love the color finished. It’s totally amazing!

Mini Beauty Haul!

Good morning friends! It’s Friday and it’s that time of the week that I share my beauty haul. This week I’m going to have a mini makeup haul since I have overspent my budget on makeup for October. But this mini haul is special in a way because I have been wanting to get the Too Faced and Bourjois makeup for sometime and finally that day came. I got them actually while I was shopping for fall sweater. The price were reasonable and  I’m perfectly happy with my purchase. So, let’s see what I got here!

Next is this L’Oreal Visible Lift Instant Anti-Aging Makeup foundation which it says to instantly reveals supersmooth skin.Skin feels silky, smoother, luminous, flawless and weightless coverage. It came with a nice brush and it would be super convenient to bring when travelling. It came with 7 other different shades to choose.

I like the 2 ways crayon type cream shadow which is so easy to apply and a perfect size to drop in my bag. Both sides have shimmer in this formula. I will do a smoky eye look with it on my next blog together with my review. I’m excited already! Yoo! Hoo!

Lastly, is the Too Faced lip gloss which I need to have it when I saw it. It has a nice packaging with a beautiful crystal on the top. I got mine in First Time and true that it was my first time to pick up a higher-end lip gloss and I’m sure it won’t be the last. I look forward to wearing it and share my thoughts on it.

So, we come to the end of this week’s mini haul and I’ll be sharing with you more of my beauty haul next Friday. In the meantime, I will be doing some of the reviews after I have tried them and if you like to have a full reviews of any of the products, please leave your comment below.

Honestly, I don’t remembered when I actually picked up this wonderful Rich Raspberry color nail enamel (in No. 250). I believed I got it from Target where it was on special. It’s a nice raspberry color shade which I like. They were like one of my favorite color of all time.
