This is a very special post by far. I’m really excited to be collaborating with a Korean skincare brand which I’ve been raving quite a bit over at my Instagram feed. First of, I want to say a big thank you to Laneige Canada for this amazing collaboration.

I wanted to share with you a current favorites post focusing all on Korean skincare. I’ve been getting lots of compliments about my skin lately so I thought I would go ahead and share some of those things with you.

I’ve added a couple of cool stuff to my evening skincare routine to not only give myself a little bit of that TLC but also to really improve the appearance of my skin because as the weather gets colder and dryer, I noticed that my skin has been looking dryer than usual. The tightness of my skin wasn’t as tight as it used to be. Hmm…

I know that I need to be working a little harder to maintain things so this is a Laneige Water Bank Essence and it claims to work for all skin types.

In case you’re wondering how this stuff works, in summary this luxurious formula delivers around-the-clock hydration and protection for a supple and silky skin. I’ve been trying out for a week now and I’m quite pleased with the result on my skin appearance. My skin looks so much brighter and radiant, not to mention more hydrated.

Water Bank Moisture Cream is a rich and creamy moisturized cream that retains long lasting moisture for your skin. It works as a barrier to help retain the optimal moisture levels. Since using these products by Laneige, I’ve noticed a positive different in my skin. It’s super nourishing and works hard to soothe any rough areas.

When using this cream, I like to apply a decent layer to my face and neck after the essence and serum. It’s creamy and exceptionally hydrating. So, definitely give this one a go!

If you haven’t tried Laneige yet, I urge you to add these babies to your skincare collection.

I’ve always wanted to try out the Water Bank Eye Gel and my dream came true when I saw this in my mailbox. Yes!!! I was so excited that I get to trying it out and love it to bits. I’ve been using it every night and I kid you not, it’s the best eye gel I’ve tried by far.

Keep your eyes peeled! Best eye gel cream that I’ve been coveting lately. The lightweight texture and cooling effect is like no other. Gone are the days of my tired and pouty eyes when eye gel come to the rescue. I’m not saying it for the sake of saying but it actually works so well for my tired eyes. I highly recommend it!

I’m obsessed with this Water Bank Soothing Gel Mask. It’s my first time trying out a gel mask from this brand, I’m completely in awe by how smooth and baby soft my skin feels after. I noticed that 30 minutes later my skin feels absolutely hydrated and soft the entire day. It’s really cooling and relaxing when it touches my skin. There’s a lot of products in the individual pack and I use the leftover gel to apply them on my neck and chest area. I’m not about to waste any drop of this precious gel. I love how the material hugged closely to my face contour without slipping off, it’s definitely not like those other brands I’ve tried before.

October Beauty Favorites

 

It’s officially Fall here in Canada and I couldn’t be more excited since it’s one of my most favorite season of the year. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been sent several pr products which I’ve shared them on my Instagram feed and been trying them out ever since I got them. Fall weather always makes me excited to try out more skincare products that both hydrating and revitalizing for my skin.

First up, I just want to take a few minutes to talk about this Dual Layer Face Oil by Laniege. It’s their new water bank collection line which was launched sometime last month. In case you haven’t heard of the brand, Laneige. It’s a South Korean cosmetics brand owned by Amore Pacific and the brand name comes from La Neige which means Snow in French.

I’m loving the cute funnel drip design. Look how cute it is! Clumsy as I am, a few accident happened in the past and if you’re a beauty blogger, I’m sure you can relate to this. This just helps avoid spillage from happening which I think is brilliant.

I’m obsessed with the formula. It makes my skin feels super smooth and hydrated without feeling greasy whatsoever. Absorbed to skin in an instant and seals all the moisture in.

BB Cushion Hydra Radiance in the shade No. 21 Beige. I love the concept of a BB cushion and once I’ve my hands on this babe, it’s a life changing moment for me. I’m all about products that I can use and apply easily and quickly before rushing out of the door 10 minutes later. And what’s great about this Laniege BB Cushion is that it apply so effortlessly. It’s such a breeze to use this stuff.

The formula is amazing and it lasted me for a good 8 hours wear without touch up. The benefit of having an SPF 50 in this bb cream is huge. This SPF 50+ helps protect your skin from UVA rays while creating a luminous finish to the look. I’ve been using this bb cream for more than a month now and I really love the beautiful pigmentation and good coverage finishes. Try it!

The next skincare product that I’ve been loving is the Bright Renew Original Serum.  I love a good serum and this stuff did just that.

I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing my skin has been looking since I’ve been applying this serum. It’s extraordinary! My skin feels and look brighter and clearer.

I like to apply the serum on the tips of my fingers and gently work around my face. I then press palms into face for better absorption. A little goes a long way with this product. This is one of my favorite skincare step for self-love. I encourage you to define your own beauty!

Next  got Fresh Rose Floral Toner that’s a must have in everyone’s beauty arsenals in my opinion. This stuff really smell glorious! I just can’t explain them in words, you really have to get your own and you’ll know what I mean. The delicately sweet scents of roses are simply intoxicating!

I can’t really confirm if it lasted for 24 hours as they claimed but all I know is that this stuff keep my skin stays hydrated by giving that extra boost to my dry skin. I notice this  floral scents does help with mood lifting. The fresh and clean smells is everything my body, soul and mind needs right this moment. A cult classic for a reason so definitely give this a try if you haven’t already!

Since it’s officially fall here where I lived, it’s the perfect time to pull out a bold red lipstick and add this gorgeous shade to my collection. This is the only product I picked up at Marshalls.

The shade Gazpacio is described as a true blue red which is so pretty on the lips and on swatch. I really like the smooth and creamy texture of this formula. The formula is so comfortable and lightweight on the lips.

Last but not least is the Shiseido Ultra Sun Protection Spray with SPF50+. I’m obsessed with the cute packaging. Love the color and the spray applicator. It’s convenient to use and easy to store. All you need is squish the product and apply them all over your body.

Don’t ever think of putting down your sunscreen even though it’s fall weather. The sun can still do damage to your skin in cold weather. Remember to wear sunscreen with high SPFs for better protection before rushing out of the door. This is that one product that I’ll be reaching for a lot over the coming months. If this brand is new to you, definitely go and check out their products <here>.

New In From Rodial

 

Hey everybody! It’s the first Monday of daylight saving time begins and also mark the coming of Spring. With so many brands launching their new product line in Spring-Summer, I’m sharing with you a brand that I’ve been obsessed with lately.

So, let me introduce you to the new in from RODIAL skincare new product launch and here’s the lineup. I got everything full sized, from a bottle of their cleanser, to my favorite gel mask and the biggest tub of cleansing pads I’ve ever seen.

Let’s start with my favorite bit … the skincare!

First up, I’ll start with my most favorite product from this range and it has to be the Vit C Brightening Mask.  I’m lucky to receive this and super excited to use it. If you’ve been following my blog, you know that I’ve been obsessed with face mask and especially those with gel formula. So, this is just right up my alley.

Key Benefits:

• 5% Vitamin C: boosts luminosity and evens skin tone
• Fruit AHAs: boosts moisture levels in the skin and gently exfoliates
• Glycolic and Lactic Acid: retextures and renews skin
• Pomegranate Extract: anti-aging antioxidant that protects skin

I’ve been using this brightening mask for almost two weeks now and I absolutely adore it. I applied a thin layer on my skin and leave it for 15-20 minutes for the product to penetrate into skin then rinse it off with lukewarm water.

The Vit C gel mask really helps brighten and add radiant luminosity to my dull skin. It feels super lightweight with dreamy ingredients like blood orange water and pomegranate extract which gives your skin that powerful antioxidant while refresh and awaken your skin complexion. Did I mentioned that I’m loving the fresh fruity scents also. It smells really good and I know I’m going to reach for these over the coming months! Try it for yourself and see if you love it as much as I do!

Vit C Brightening Cleanser – product that brighten and renew any dull skin complexion. I can see the result almost immediately after each use. My skin looks more radiant and healthier everytime.

A wake up call for the skin. I like to use this as my daily cleanser because it’s gentle for my skin and this stuff actually removes all dirt and scraps off my makeup effortlessly. It’s a gel cleanser that’s silky to use while leaving my skin feeling soft and smells refreshing. This stuff is as good as it sounds. You’re going to love it!

Vit C Brightening Cleansing Pads – is actually my first time I trying them so that’s why you don’t hear me talking about it here in my blog. I was both curious and excited to try it out. It was the best thing ever. This pad is jam packed with pure vit C and other good stuff. With this amazing properties of Fruit AHA acids and Vit C, it leaves your skin feeling firm and with more tone in a long run.

Key Benefits:

• Vitamin C: brightens and evens skin tone
• 1% Fruit AHAs: boosts moisture levels in the skin and gently exfoliates
• Glycolic and Lactic Acid: retextures and renews skin
• 0.5% Salicylic Acid: refines pores to reduce and prevent blemishes

If you like double cleanse as part of your skincare routine, then you’re going to like this. These pads are really soft and it makes cleansing quick and easy.

I can’t get over this brand. This range is incredible and I couldn’t recommend more. I feel like this stuff  *might* just be a skincare dream goal.

My Top New High End Skincare Products (Beauty Highlights Series)

Even if it’s clear how much you’ve help to protect my skin to continuously look and feel youthful, it certainly won’t hurt to put that feeling into words. Yes, it may sounds cheesy for you but I’m going to do it anyways. Are you ready for it? Well then, let’s do this!

First off I like thank the pr company for sending this package to my mail box. I’ve always love beauty products by Sothys Paris and I’m truly lucky to have this opportunity to do a review on their newest Youth Cream skincare line.

I can’t stress enough how important it is to take good care of your skin and making sure to protect your face with good quality formula to your skincare routine is a vital step.

What I love about this product is the rich and creamy texture. Apart from that, this stuff is fragrance free, so it feels super gentle and kind on the skin which I really appreciate. The formula is so soft and smooth in consistency as if you’re wearing silk on your skin.

The formula is infused with two botanical active ingredients which helps fight against oxidative stress and signs of chronological ageing. I’ve been using it for more than a month and have been loving it so much. You got to try it!

Micellar Cleansing Waters are products I use on a daily basis. I like using cleansing water because it’s not too harsh for my skin. You see, winter weather makes my skin ultra dry so I try not to add unnecessary cream products that makes it worst. On a contrary, I seek anything hydrating for my thirsty skin.

You can either use this stuff with a cotton pad or muslin cloth and then go ahead to remove all the makeup residues off the face.

You light up my life with this magic formula. My skin doesn’t feel overly dry with the micellar water.

*Deluxe Samples

I can wear you all day. You must noticed that I’m obsessed with every single Sothys products that exist. I’m going to talk about this two deluxe sample products that I was excited to try them out as well.

Restructuring Youth Cream – to restore, fight against visible signs of ageing: wrinkles, even deep ones and skin slackening.

Redentifying Youth Cream –  is to regenerate, restore a radiant complexion that is full of vitality while reducing the visible signs of ageing. For each has its own functions but bottom line is to help keep your youth.

As with all Sothys products, this restructuring and redensifying youth cream are a lot pricey than your average drugstore. But if you’re looking for a youth cream that really does a fab job to fight the signs of ageing then these products are for you!

What I love about this Sothys Paris is that the formula feels like silk and consists of top notch BP3 Tri-Complex ingredients. I’m so lucky that I’ve the chance to try you out and I urge those of you who wish to keep your real age to yourselves … definitely give this one a go!

A Peek Inside My PR Box

Welcome to my second blog post of 2018 everyone! I’ve been back to blogging for a week now and I’m so excited to be sharing with you this new series that I’ve been working on to create since last December.

I’ve been receiving many PR packages from brands that I really love and I thought it would be great for me to show you and talk beauty related stuff with you guys. I’m so overwhelmed and grateful to all the brands that have sent me such amazing products to test and try.

When it comes to K-Beauty face products, you can put any of their skincare products on my face and I’d have no complaint whatsoever. I think I’d be quite happy honesty. I’ve been obsessed with Korean skincare brands for the longest time and since I’m also a huge mask lover as it is, I thought I’d give them all a go and break them down for you. Let’s see if they make it into my face mask box!

I really like the the box packaging and it would make a perfect gift for your friends or a gift to surprise yourself this coming Valentine. I got two packs of Moisture Hydrogel and two Anti-Aging Hydrogel Mask by Pack:Tory in this cute box. For a retail box, it comes in a pack of 8.

If you’re in the market to look for a get ready skincare that’s both hydrating and helps anti-aging for your skin these Gel Sheet Masks are made for you. If you’ve been experimenting dry patches in the winter, this mask will sort it out in no time. It’s a quick fix for the skin!

If you’ve dry skin like me, you need to be very choosy about which masks you put on your face. Many masks that promise to purify, shrink pores and remove blackheads are extremely drying. Instead, look for masks that offer hydration, soothing, or added moisture and hydrogel mask is a great option for those with dry skin.

Inside each pack, you’ll find two separate gel pieces like so. The first half is for the top as shown below and the other part is the bottom half.

It feels cooling and very lightweight. I really like how hydrating and skinly smooth this product make my skin feels after. The next two days my skin still feels soft and that’s pretty amazing in my opinion.

With the Hydrogel Anti-Aging pack that I’ve tried, i ntoiced my skin has improved significantly. I would repurchase when my sepnding budget permits.

I’ll definitely make room for these masks in my stash. This stuff is amazing! Kudos Pack:Tory! 

Next is Skinae Acwin Plus Derm Acne Spot Pimple Absorbing Cover Patch. I’ve heard many great things about this popular product among Koreans and I was so lucky to have the chance to try it out for myself.

This product is fragrance free, alchohol free and cruelty free which means no animal testing. Product contains one sheet of patches with 20 patches.

I get pimples occasionally so this stuff is really great help. When I see a pimple started to form I just put this patch on and leave it overnight and take it off in the morning, the pimple was gone! It works really well on zits, wounds, acne and zits, I’m quite impressed!

The thin clear hydrocolloid patch feels similar to a hydrogel sheet mask in texture, adhering your skin strongly even through showers and washing. You definitely need to give this a go! I highly recommend it.

Last but not least we got Skinae Phyto Collagen Eye Patch that comes in a pack of 15 sheets. This product is nature-friendly eye patch with no animal originated ingredients.

I’ve been testing out these eye patches non-stop for the last two weeks. I can see my dark under eye circles and puffiness gone each time I use them. I need to try out this longer to see if it reduce the fine lines on the skin. This stuff is so lightweight and comfortable you wouldn’t even noticed you had them on.

This patch is smooth and soothing on the skin. I really enjoy this stuff.

It’s easy to get distracted by all the different types of Korean beauty products out there, but if you’re a k-beauty lover, try visiting Amazon website to start your year off right!

An Introduction to Bochéry Lab Esthétique

 

Hey guys! Since December is a Blogmas month, I thought it would be nice for me to add another bonus post for you guys. The other week I was lucky enough to receive a package containing some top up skincare products that I’m excited to test them out.

This is my first time trying out the Nano Face Lab product line by Bochéry. They’re full size products and comes in a nice metallic grey tube packaging which I find it to be convenient and travel friendly.

The first product I want to talk to you about is the Firming Neck & Décolleté Cream works as an agent to help delay double chin and decreases the wrinkles of the neck and décolleté (low neckline). I love using firming neck cream in my evening skincare routine just before going to bed. As we age, overtime the skin around the neck will lose its tone and firmness. I’ve seen that on my mom and my aunts and let me tell you that it’s never to early to take care of your skin and the neck area properly.

The creamy formula feels feather light on the skin one might mistaken it for a gel silicone base but it’s not. It has a nice scents that’s so relaxing. I’ve tested this product for a week now and I like how my skin toned up but I think it’s still too early for me to conclude if this product really helps on skin firming or not. I’ll be back to report more of the updates in the coming weeks.

I’ve always wanted to use Anti-Age Cream on a daily basis and after using this stuff for more than a week my fine lines skin days are finally over. I completely adores this cream. The formula feels moisturizing and so good on the skin. I notice my skin looking more radiant and it doesn’t feel so dry as before. I’ll definitely adding this to my skincare routine.

I like wearing it on a bare face but you can wear it over the top of your makeup so do whatever floats your boat. All in all I love this stuff!

Last but not least is the Bochéry Anti-Wrinkle Lift Serum that I’ve been so obsessed with since I started using it. This serum helps to target on my fine lines that need the most attention. I like to wear it under my night cream. It feels cooling when I first applied them. It absorbs fast and I can immediately see the revitalized effect almost immediately. I’m quite impressed with the performance so far.

I appreciate tube packaging that comes in a pump format. It makes life so much easier. Just one pump is all you need for the entire face. So definitely give this a go if you’re on the market for a heavy duty lift serum.

October Beauty Review & My Favorite Sephora Minis

 

Hey everyone! So today we’re going to do my a two part post. First will be my November beauty in review and followed by My Favorite Sephora Minis. I’m very excited to be doing this post and I hope you guys will enjoy it. I’ve quite a few products that I want to go through so let’s just jump right in.

I’ve only two skincare products that I wanted to rave about and it’s the Paula’s Choice Resist Cellular Defense Daily Moisturizer, well that’s a mouthful and this Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum is a gift from my daughter.

Oh my gosh, these packaging are really cute. I was sent the Paula Choice’s item by a pr company and I’ve been liking it ever since. I did a review about it awhile ago and I’ll put a link here if you like to read it.

Here’s the formula with a good consistency. It’s not runny nor too thick. It helps hydrate the skin and prevent it from UV light. It contains SPF 25 and if you’ve normal or dry skin types then you’re going to like this.

The second product and it’s the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum which is a birthday gift my daughter picked up from Sephora. She knows I’m obsessed with skincare stuff so she gifted it to me.

It was my first time trying a serum from this brand and I was really blown me away. All reviews that I’ve seen on this have had the same reaction which is, I saw the results overnight. It’s a huge claim but this really surprised me the first day I tried it. It has                           in it and if you’ve hyperpigmentation scars or fine wrinkles, this is amazing. I’ve been using it for over 2 weeks or so and I find this helps in lighten those areas amazingly.

The Physician Formula Butter Blush in Natural Glow is the least that I’m excited about. I’m really disappointed with the formula and the color payoff. Don’t get me wrong, I do like the cute packaging but the color and formula of this just didn’t cut it for me. It didn’t do anything as far as I can see from a blush. The shade is very pale and I think it would be great for a highlighter than a blush in my opinion. It just didn’t give me the color that I was looking for.

I’m thinking of returning this one for something different.  So yeah, I wasn’t really particular about this. Sad to say that this doesnt work out for me. I was really dissappointed because I was looking forward to trying this but sometimes that happens.

Moving on, I”m going to talk about some of my all time favorite minis that I decided to revisit and have been loving. Sephora came out with what they call mini sizes products this holiday season so if that’s your thing, then you’re going to like these.

URBAN DECAY Naked2 Basics Eyeshadow Palette (C$36) I’ve tried this palette for a very long time and it’s still my favorite neutral matte color eyeshadow palette by far. It comes in a small and compact palette that’s travel friendly and easy to use. You get six lovely matte shadows that’s versatile and pigmented. It gives a nice matte finish that’s subtle and for extra long staying power, wear it on top of a primer. It works everytime for me. Urban Decay is a cruelty free brand that commits to end animal testing. 

TARTE Tartelette Tease (C$30) is another palette that I’ve with me for a very long time.  This is a six pan eyeshadow palette. It has a nice mix of matte and shimmery shadows.  The texture and the color payoff is just smooth as silk and amazing. Absolutely love this palette. If you’re looking for a neutral nude eyeshadow palette, this one is made for you. Really gorgeous and I absolutely love the colors and the texture. I’m obsessed, don’t know if you can tell! NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer Mini (C$16) is my latest concealer I’ve tried and was totally hooked. I got it in the shade custard which is closer to my natural skin tone just around my face if you’re my skin coloring which is like an NC20-25. It also has become my go-to product. I think it’s a great high end product to have if you feel like a little spendy. The doe foot applicator is awesome and the formula so easy to blend. It looks really good on the under eye areas as well as around the face. Definitely check this one out! 

BECCA Champagne Glow on the Go Highlighter Set (C$24) where you get a duo of Shimmering Skin Perfector® Spotlight Wand in Champagne Pop & Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed in Champagne Pop, in a travel size format. It says on the website this is an exclusive shade created in collaboration with #Jaclyn Hill. I knwo Becca is well known for their highlighters and the formula is exceptional and beyond. So good! So beautiful! If you don’t love this, I really don’t know what to say. You got to try it for yourself! 

BENEFIT COSMETICS BROWVO! Conditioning Primer Nutrient Rich Eyebrow Primer Mini (C$16). This was sent to me by a pr company for review awhile ago and here I am talking about it again on my monthly favorites. Benefit comes out with many nice eye products that I’ve been liking. This is a great mid-range to drugstore option I think. The formula works very well to set the brows in place and the plastic brush wand is really cool. Can you see that? Cool right! It doesn’t have that glitter, shimmer or sheen effect that’s going to make your brow looks crispy or shine weird in a different light. If you like to splurge a little at Sephora, this is a good one.

Ever since I discovered Korean cosmetics and especially I realised the importance of having a regular skincare routine, every morning and every evening I perform something like a beauty ritual which I truly enjoy. While I was looking for inspiration, I stumbled upon this Rose Oil Overnight Gel Mask at Marshall’s. I’m very much into face mask lately so I bought it in a heart beat and was pleased I did.

You’ve been following my blog you ‘ll know that I’m an avid advocate of moisturizing, thus a lot of the skincare I use or mention can be used irrespect of young or mature skin. But today I’m just going to talk about one product and it’s the Overnight Gel Mask.

Let’s jump right in:

It comes in a fairly large jar for C$9.99 worth. Though it’s called a gel mask but it looks more like a jar of jelly actually. If you poke it, it wobbles and return to its original shape like before.

The smell of the rose oil is really amazing and it’s not overpowering at all. I like how it smells and the rose petals in the mask. It’s great in helping skin calm down and depuff. I like the finishing touch of putting on my gel mask as the last step in my routine and allow it to work overnight without the need to rinse. You wake up the next morning with a hydrated and noticeably brighter skin that you’re skin will be grateful for.

I’ve been using this mask for the past 2 weeks and I can tell you this stuff really works on my uneven skin. Anti-inflammatory helps reduces spots on certain area of my face which is quite impressive but in terms of depuffing I didn’t see much of a difference except some improvement on my under eyes feels cool and visibly look brighter. This product dries up quickly so you don’t have to worry it comes off your cheek onto your pillow.

Ingredients: Water, Dipropylene Glycol, PEG-240/HDI Copolymer Bis-Decyltetradeceth-20 Ether, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, PEG-100 Stearate, macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, Dimethicone, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycereth-26, Caprylyl Glycol, Allantoin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Adenosine, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Fragrance, Butylene Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hyaluronate, CI 16185.

This cream really impressed me to no end. It’s ridiciously amazing!

I do understand your concern to know whether products like this are really much better than the products you can get from the drugstore. You know that I’m very familiar with what’s happening at the drugstore but admittedly I haven’t tried or dabbled quite enough products from very high end price range just so you know.

First thing first, I’ll show you what’s in this Luxury Essentials box.

First thing I like to talk about is the Clinique Take the day off Makeup Remover. Whenever anyone asks me which oil free makeup remover I’d recommend, I pretty much always say Clinique.

I’ve just went through my first bottle recently and was pleased when I received a deluxe size sample as back up. This is my favorite makeup remover this month. I use it on my eyes, lips and even on my face and it does a great job in removing all. I don’t have to rub my eyeballs out with this product. A gentle wipes is all it takes to remove all your stubborn eye makeup. It does seems a little pricey for a makeup remover but it totally worth it on how well it performs. This stuff is magic!

GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment is a little bit on a hefty price but I’ve good experience with this product so far. It’s my third time trying it last week and I actually like it. It cleans my pores out like no other while giving it a blur out look. I notice the blackheads around my nose is not visible. The smell reminds me of the chinese herbal roots medicine that my granny used to brew when I was little. It’s not terrible actually, you just got to get used to it. This product dries up pretty quickly on the skin so, be sure to apply it fast then leave it on for 5-20 minutes and let it do its magic. You might feel a little tingling for a second or two as the mud started to do its thing. My skin felt really clean after this, I mean really really clean and soft. 

If you’ve sensitive skin then you might want to skip on this one.

Moving on is the Advanced Night Repair by Estee Lauder. I just want to say tell you guys upfront that his product is not new to me. I’ve used it long before I started blogging and have been loving it since then. I just felt like I didn’t have a great opportunity to talk about it until now. So here we go! I’m going to say that this repair serum is a hidden gem type of status.

I had first wore this product it my late twenties, and fast forward to today I’m revisiting a product that I truly love. When I got this sample, I immediately start using it. I’m so impressed with the improvement on my skin. I notice my skin looks radiant and smooth in texture wise. A flashback on why I love it was because this serum really helps reduce fine lines on my forehead significantly.  I was glad I started early with this product. It works great and I highly recommend it! It’s like walking back on memory lane.

Exquisâge Beauty Revealing Serum

My first time trying out this brand by Darphin is awesome. As we all know, skincare product is something that just can’t be a one time thing because it needs time to work. . So, let just say that I’m in the stage of figuring it out now but I can tell you that after using it for about two weeks now, I notice my skin feels firmer and less dull.

It’s a lightweight gel that keeps my skin feeling well hydrated. It’s not greasy or drying at all in case you’re curious to know. I can’t stop falling in love with this heavenly scents. It smell so so good! For product that really works, I would change my skincare regimen for this. Major thumbs up from me!

In this box you’ll also get a mini size version of the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. This product has been in the market for a while and a lot of people has been talking about it. I’ve heard many mixed reviews about this product but I’m one of the many that find this primer works well on me.

I wore it again for my daughter’s birthday dinner last night and I got so many compliments on my flawless makeup. This primer is a dream come true. It’s super lightweight, feels wonderfully silky and gives my skin a flawless look. I’ve never felt anything quite like it before and it felt almost high-tech in my opinion. What do you think? I like to apply them all over my face. You just need a small pea size product to cover the whole face. Once set, I go ahead to apply my foundation and the rest of my makeup. This primer is a universal translucent gel that works for every skin tone. Perfect!

I usually buy lipsticks in mauve nude or classic red so when I saw this in my TopBox essentials I just flipped out. A gorgeous mini by Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color in the shade Ruby. It’s described as a mid-tone ruby red.

Lately I’ve been rocking on some of my favorite darker red and berry lipsticks and since you guys like the lip swatches I did on my previous posts. I thought I’d put a #LOTD in this post as well.

#LOTD in the shade Ruby

I gave it a whirl and boy look how pretty is this! It’s definitely ruby on my lips you guys. The formula goes on sheer and pigmented. It feels very comfortable on the lips. It’s save to say it qualifies for MLBB (My Lips But Better) lipstick. A smooth, sheer and satin shade that I think will look great on anyone this holiday seasons. You need to try Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color if you haven’t already.

Korean Sheet Mask Inoface Cosmetics

 

Hey everyone! Today I’m going to talk about a face mask that I just picked up last Friday from a Korean grocery store and I’ve been loving it since.

Introducing you to Inoface Cosmetics Vitamin Essence Mask Sheet. It retails for $0.99/sachet with a net wt of 0.71 oz. I’ve tried the Modeling Cup Pack from this brand prior and have been liking them so far. So today I’m going to share with you everything I’ve experienced with this sheet mask.

Let’s get right into it.

Even though you keep it at your room temperature, it feels really cool when you put on your face. This sheet mask is neither too thick nor thin in texture which I really appreciate. It feels heavy because it holds a load of juicy vitamin on it. It was practically dripping when I pulled it out from the package. You can imagine how much all these goodness your skin is going to get. It got so much essencey liquid at the bottom so when you take it out you put it on you face right, everything else I applied it on my neck like a body lotion. There’s so much you can get from it, it’s worth everything!

Look at the back of the packaging. It has instructions and the ingredients used.

This product contain vitamins and other plant ingredients that are effective in soothing and moisturizing the skin, which are absorbed deep into the skin, making your loose skin elastic and lustrous. Also available from this line is their Aloe, Cucumber, Collagen and Snail range. 

It looks like a normal cotton sheet mask to me. The english instruction says best to put it on for 10-20 minutes. Remove it and pat the remaining essence for your skin to absord all of it.

These are so soothing and my skin feels so happy after that. So these are really good!

I really love this and will be going back to grab a few more. I need more Vitamin than that to keep my skin soothe, moisturized and firm.

Neutrogena Back To School Supplies

 

Back To School for most people is all about shopping for school supplies but don’t forget to shop for your skin care products while you there. Imagine all the stress and anxiety of going to high school. So exciting and nerve breaking too am I right! Having said that, with high stress, the uninvited guest usually pops out of nowhere. That’s right, I’m talking about acne.

It seems that Neutrogena is killing it with their Back To School Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne product lines. I’ve high hope on all these product samples I received from the PR company. Huge shout out to the team!

Do you ever have a feeling of deja vu? Drugstore skincare products are starting to feel like this to me. I love talking skincare with you guys in my blog. Since summer will be over soon I thought of sharing some products that will make your back to school easy peasy.

These works amazingly well. I typically don’t get pimples but when I do I use this to help get rid of them:

NEUTROGENA^® Rapid Clear^® Stubborn Acne^® Cleanser

A cleanser that works to remove dry and uneven patches. With only a few wash I started to notice some of my uneven skin disappears. The formula work well with my skin and I’m so glad it did. If you’re a combo to dry skin type with moderate acne problem then you’re going to find this product helps. Worth checking it out.

NEUTROGENA^® RAPID CLEAR^®STUBBORN ACNE DAILY LEAVE-ON MASK

I like to wear this every once a week in the morning especially when I know I’ll be indoors most of the day. You just wet your hands and then apply the product all over the face. Once it dries up, you get a smooth and powdery finish feel to it.

NEUTROGENA^® RAPID CLEAR^®STUBBORN ACNE SPOT GEL

My skin has been good these past months and since I don’t have any breakouts or pimples I’m not able to test out this spot gel to its fullest accuracy. But if you’re on the lookout for something that has benzoyl peroxide than look no further.

Neutrogena claims this product helps clear breakouts with maximum strength and reduce the signs of stubborn breakouts. It’s required that you wash your hands every time before applying products to sensitive skins. Keep your hands away from pimples for your skins sake. Use spot gel instead. Neutrogena is a drugstore brand I trust.

NEUTROGENA^® OIL FREE ACNE CORRECT & COVER PINK GRAPEFRUIT MOISTURIZER

I can’t stress enough my obsession for BB cream or tinted moisturizer and when I saw this in the pr box I was elated with the prospect of trying these bad boys out. Love the lighweight formula and coverage. It makes my skin looks more even and it feels really nice having this moisturizer on. At $8.97 a tube you can’t go wrong with that!

Available in 2 shades. Fair to Light and Medium to Tan. Can’t find your perfect shade, you can mix and match to your desirable skin color. This line is great for sensitive or acne prone skin types, I recommend you look in your local drugstore.

July Favorites In Beauty

 

This year is zipping past, I feel like I blink and we’re into another month – apparently it’s a sign of getting old. As we’re in mid-summer, I’ve felt a little more rejuvenated and willing to try some products that are typically outside of my comfort zone. Let me share what I’ve been enjoying lately …

Labstory Perfect BB Cream 

A few months back I put together a post all about Korean Skincare and Makeup Products that I received from Labstory Korea. So many of you commented that you how much you loved that post that I thought might be a good idea to show you the BB Cream that’s making me look flawless this summer.

You guys know how obsessed I am with BB cream and what’s great about it is this product rocks!

Here’s the color swatch and formula of Lab Story Perfect BB Cream. You can use a brush or beauty blender and bounce the product all over your face. I’m pleased with dewy finish this product gives. I’m all about wearing a subtle BB that’s not overly in your face. This is truly stunning and if you’re sort of new to the world of a BB then this is a great place to start.

Aveeno Intensive Night Cream with Vitamin B2 

I love love this night cream and had just hit pan recently. I’ve been using it for the past couple of months religiously as my evening skincare routine and I’m really impressed with the results. It works to maintain and keep my skin hydrated throughout summer. I’ve been enjoying this product. It’s lightweight, non-greasy and it locks out moisture. This is one product I would totally recommend.

Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturizer

The orange-tangerine zest scents is what makes me love this moisturizer but it’s not for everyone. This moisturizer is not for everyone, but for me, I appreciate the fresh scents and it has become my latest morning skincare routine. It’s very lightweight but hydrating at the same time. On top of that, it doesn’t cause any breakout on me. I’ve been wearing it the whole time and it leaves my skin smooth and soft. Worth the mid-range price tag. Go for it! 

But if you have very sensitive skin then I wouldn’t recommend this to you. It might cause irritation due to the scented ingredients.

Caudalie Instant Detox Mask 

Once a week, I like to pop on a charcoal based face mask to really deep cleanse my skin and clarify my complexion on the whole. I’ve combination dry skin and I didn’t notice it cause any dryness or irritation on my skin. The cream and bright pink product will dry up and it reminds me of my face dries up in the sun at the seashore. I leave if for 15 minutes and rinse it with lukewarm water. My skin feels really great and so clean. I used it again this morning and it leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. I just put in my order to get the full size at Sephora. So, that’s a thumbs up!

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk

Perfect travel size dry shampoo bottle for summer. I’m on my second deluxe size bottle and have been loving it thus far. A dry shampoo that doesn’t disappoint even on a bad hair day. Love the amazing scents and how it makes my hair smells so good the whole day. I like carrying it in my purse on a hot summer day. A winner in my book.
