Hey Beauties! Dang that mid-week crisis. So anyway, I’ve been bad once again, but managed to gather a little something to put for the blog! Three posts in two days from ME, that’s a marathon in my planner! lol!
I was so excited when I was send these two NYX products from Galerie Beaute de Pincourt to review on. I enjoy testing out new products to share my thoughts and opinion with all of you. I’m preparing a special something for you to thank you for your constant support. I’ll reveal it in a week so don’t forget to stay tuned.
Many of you may know that NYX Cosmetics is also my favorite drugstore brand which was so hard to get before in many parts of the province such as the one I live in. But things changed for the better, good news is NYX Cosmetics is now available at all Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix with a good selection of product lines in-store. Yahoo!!!
Available in twelve kaleidoscope metallic shades for CAD$8.99 with net wt: 0.043 oz. Just to point out that the sample I got here with me is the Prismatic Shadow in Girl Talk which you can find them at Pharmaprix Pincourt or NYX locations.
The color payoff was exactly what I was looking for: a nice shimmer pale pink that didn’t overwhelm the other colors it was blended with. Beautiful pigmentation with just one swoosh. Perfect as a highlight on eyes, nose, cupid bow and on the lids. I swear that Girl Talk is definitely made for highlighting. If you have special function or going clubbing, this I recommend.
NYX Wonder Pencil in Light shade is a concealer, eye brightener, reverse lip liner in one.
Whether it works as a concealer, frankly I’m a little on the fence about it. It’s too small for under eyes so I definitely think this is meant for spot treating. It’s kinda hard to blend but does conceal little, little spots. I can see this working as a spot concealer for sure. I would like it better if NYX would have produce more than just 3 colors to choose from.
It works better on waterline or tight line application without tugging. Â It does naturally brighten my eyes up when first applied though. I like the look of this better than a stark white. It lasted me for a good 3 hours wear on my waterline. The formula is creamy and nicely pigmented.
There’s nothing especially unique about it except all it is, is a nude liner if you wear it as a reverse lip liner. I applied it my lips and boy my lips look SUCCULENT, as if I had lip injection (hahaha!). But yeah, super standard nude liner with a multitude of uses, and a reasonable price.
I’ll use this on rotation with the other nude eyeliner I have. If you like to have all in one pencil, then you’re going to like this.
Available at Shoppers Drug Mart, Pharmaprix Pincourt or NYX online.
What do you think of this new (to me at least) NYX products? Have you tried any of this and if yes leave your comment what you think.
That’s it for today girlfriends! I hope to see you again on the next one 🙂
Thanks for taking the time to read and I’ll see you on the next one! If you have any questions or would like me to do a more in-depth post on any of these products, please let me know – you can leave a comment below, on my Facebook page or email me.
