Natural At Night by Too Faced|Review & Swatches

I got this palette through a mutual friend a while ago since I told her how much I wanted this eyeshadow palette. She’s so sweet to send me this gorgeous palette. I was on cloud nine! You can tell how very excited I am to share this Natural at Night Eyeshadow Palette by Too Faced with you today.

This palette has a darker shades and more glam sister than the Natural Palette.

This palette contains 9 complementary shades for a variety of looks. It’s divided to 3 segments : Night Classic – Fashion. Let’s continue reading below …

Look at the pigmentation on these shadows. It’s freaking incredible! And the freakiness continues throughout this palette. Below are the color swatches of the shadows of Natural At Night.

What I think is one of the greatest qualities of the palette is the great variety of looks you can create, as well as how nicely it brings out the color of my eyes.

L-R :

Spotlight – matte cream base

Night Light – pale dusky pink with shimmer base color

Full Moon – a neutral beige base with shimmer

The colors in this palette are buttery soft, easy to blend and besides I notice that the colour Night Light which has some fallout while the Spotlight a little chalky, wherelse all the others are very nicely pigmented.

Also, great pigmentation and texture. Although the palette is called ‘Natural at Night’ you could also create a few daytime looks, which makes it travel-friendly.
The only downside I could think of, would be the selection of eyeshadows. I usually prefer wearing matte colors and creating subtle looks, and I wish there was more than two matte eyeshadows in this palette.

L-R: Night Fever/Eclipse/Cocoa Star/Moonstone/After Hours/Nightcap

Night fever is dark brown with shimmer

Eclipse is a deep shimmery bronze

Cocoa Star is a matte chocolate brown

Moonstone is of dark gold with shimmer

After Hours is pink shimmer with mauve undertones

Nightcap is glittery tan

However, the shimmer eyeshadows look absolutely stunning and I actually use all of them since I love to play with different eye shadow makeup look. But if you love shimmer eyeshadows, you should definitely add this to your makeup collection! I’m going to continue wearing this since it’s so easy to work with.

Again, I want to thank my lovely girlfriend for this palette 🙂 xo

Definitely a winner in my eyes.

What do you think of this palette?

Thank you very much for taking the time to read!

Question Tuesday| Too Faced or LA Girl?

Hey gorgeous!

Happy Tuesday and it’s time for question & answer. I have been debating whether to get the New Too Faced Melted Metal Liquified Long Lasting Lipstick which will cost me a bomb (figure of speech) at $27.00 a tube. I was hoping to get it in my April’s Ipsy glam bag though. But anyways, do you think it’s worth it to spend $27.00 for a lipstick or rather spend $4.99 on L.A Girl Glazed which in my opinion. I’m not saying that it’s an exact dupes to Too Faced but that makes me wonder what is the different then?

Here are some questions :-

Q: Can you spot the difference between Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick versus LA Girl Glazed Lip Paint?

A: I honestly can’t tell the difference except if I were to do a color swatch on each tube to tell them apart.

Q. Can you believe how similar the packagings are?

A: OMG!!! Pretty close, right? Instead of Melted, you have Glazed in L.A Girl. The color packaging is surely a dupes on first glance.

Q: Will you pay CAD$27.00 for Too Faced Melted or CAD$4.99 for L.A. Girl?

I’m throwing in two sample reviews for the above two products and let me know on the comment below what’s your thought on these products.

Q: Here is a review that says – these melted lip colors are very pigmented and long lasting!! The only thing to change is that it does tend to get in everything your lips touch. If Too Faced would come out with a top coat that would seal in the color so it wouldn’t transfer on everything it would be perfect!♡♡. Do you agree with it?

Q: Love this lip taint. Color is amazing and beautiful. It’s a matte color and isn’t glossy. Although I don’t really like the application with this product.

Your feedback and comments would help other makeup enthusiasts, beginners to makeup and makeup addicts to get all the information before making the right choice. After all, we’re talking about a big difference in price point.

Thank you so much for reading.

Packed in a dark chocolate metal pencil case material are sixteen beautiful shades of matte and shimmer eyeshadows. An array of different shades of eyeshadow with chocolaty names that is so mouth watering. I love chocolates and this palette smells chocolate-y tooooo… Do you also know that they used real cocoa to make these wonderful eyeshadow palette? This is beyond my imagination.

Oh! How can one resist such delicious indulgence?

In this palette are 16 shades with very pigmented texture.

Second L-R: Salted Caramel, Marzipan, Semi-Sweet, Strawberry Bon Bon, Candied Violet, Amaretto

Bottom L-R: Hazelnut, Crème Brulee, Haute Chocolate, Cherry Cordial and Champagne Truffle

Note: that White Chocolate and Champagne Truffle are in a bigger size pan(net wt: 0.10 oz) compared to the rest which is (net wt: 0.03 oz).

It also comes with a good size mirror and I really love this palette. To be honest I have many neutral eyeshadow palettes from Urban Decay which I ordered and received recently. I’ll do a full review on each of them very soon. Back to my point, Too Faced Chocolate Bar is something that I wanted to try on. I’ve read many articles and good reviews on it. Needless to say, with high regards and tempting palette shadow, I got to have it in my collection.

Top 3 Tuesday Favorite High-end Lip gloss

Hello friends!

It’s November already? Oh…wow! Time do flies when I’m busy writing my daily blog! As usual, since it’s Tuesday, I better get on with my Top 3 favorites on high end lip gloss. This week I’ll be doing only Top 3 Tuesday fave instead of Top 5 on the high end makeup.

These are my favorite high end lip gloss which I love and has been using. I can foresee myself wearing them more often now as the weather draws colder and throughout the holiday seasons!

color swatches

Oh my gosh! Look at these color swatches. They are simply gorgeous. I picked these because of the smooth and easy to apply formula each of these lip gloss provides. It gives a lovely glossy finish which was not gloppy. I did my reviews before on blogs some several weeks ago. The price for the high end lip gloss are a little bit more expensive than the drugstore brands but once in a while I love to indulge myself with a special treat. I know that I will be wearing them often and it won’t go to waste. For me, that’s great value. Overall, all my top 3 favorites lip gloss which I have selected has best value for great quality products.

I would recommend that you try any one of the lip gloss above and let me know how it fairs for you? I like to hear what you think?

In this image I put 3 of the above lip gloss on. Can you spot which color shade I put and where?

Thanks for participating and stopping by.

Lips with Too Faced volumizing lip gloss. I experienced  slight burning sensation immediately after I applied this lip gloss and it lasted for 15-20 minutes. It glides so smoothly and it smells great. It doesn’t feel too sticky and it just has a bit of shine which is real nice. Lovely pigments and love this nude shade that gives natural pouty lips.
