Hey everybody! Today I’m bringing you something different. Something I haven’t done for like ages. A TAG! I love tags as it’s a way to know more about the person. In this post I compiled questions from different beauty tags to create something of my own and I hope through this you guys would have the chance to get to know little more about me.

1. What is your current favourite perfume? I’ve been obsessed with Gucci Guilty and Lancome La Vie et Belle eau de toilette of late. I like to wear my perfume according to my mood and events  
2. What is your favorite social media platform? I really enjoy posting Instagram photos and I did it on a daily basis. I love reading feedbacks from you guys. I find satisfaction from posting beautiful photos of my work. It makes me really really happy! 
3. What’s your advice to a beauty blogger who’s just starting out? Don’t force it! Be your true self and work on your passion. Always remind yourself why you started in the first place and set your goals. Make sure your blog is consistent and remember that content is KING!  
4. How often do you wear makeup? I wear full face makeup pretty often, for meetings or events. But I like to go for natural a look as well.
5. What is your favourite part of doing your makeup? My favorite part is playing with my eye makeup. I enjoy seeing the before and after result. It’s like seeing the transformation happening before my own eyes. 
6. Matte or glossy lips? MATTE…MATTE
7. What do you do first? Face or Eyes? Face. I’ve tried doing the eyes first but I still like doing face first for some reason.
8. How important is skincare to you? Skincare is very important as I grow older. I used to underestimate the benefits of taking care of skin until I started blogging. I’m very lucky to receive awesome products from amazing brands. Therefore these gives me the inspiration to start a better skincare regime for myself.
9. What is a makeup trend that you don’t like? Using stick on pearls as an ornamentation on the cheeks and eyes. I don’t see I can pull this one out. 
10. What is your favourite makeup product at the minute? I’ve been reaching for the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Lipstick. I love the rich and warm rusty nude shade followed by an amazing staying power.
11. How often do you buy new makeup products to try? Every chance I get. Or whenever my budget permits.
12. What is your favourite skin care product? I’m an avid fan of Aveeno when it comes to drugtore brand and I love Lancome for a ore expensive range
13. What is one tip you would give anyone just starting out using makeup? Try it at home by starting with a little lip gloss, some mascara and apply light blush. You might want to get your makeup from the drugstores before splurging into the high-end territory (in case you decided later that makeup is not for you).   
14. What products are you most excited about this fall? I can’t wait to get my hot paws on the Advent Calendars at Sephora and the Charlotte Thilbury Instant Eye Palette. 
15. What product or brand do you think is hyped? I know I probably get a lot of hate from Rihanna’s fans but I personally think that the latest launch of the FeNty Beauty brand is overly hyped for some reason

I vow to: 

• Tell myself that I am beautiful every. single. day. Quite straight forward. Hahaha!
• Is to love my body the way it is, and know that I am beautiful
• Find my look or style and embrace it to it’s fullest
• Water water water and more water!
• Take five minutes every morning to stretch so I feel refreshed and ready for the day! :]

Today was the first time since Thursday that I could really sit down and take my time to write my blog. So, I thought I’d share with you something light and casual. Nothing too crazy but is it going to be a random post- Oooh YES!

1. Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?
Closed, I feel safer

2. Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotel?
Occasionally, when I really like the products or packaging

3. Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?
Tucked out

4. Have you ever stolen a street sign before?
Obviously not, that’s just crazy

5. Do you like to use post-it notes?
I like ’em! I find them helpful!!!

6. Do you cut out coupons but then never use them?
Yesss all the time. Hahaha!

7. Would you rather be attacked by a big bear or a swarm of a bees?
A big bear

8. Do you have freckles?
Nope and I’m happy about that #lol

Yes lol, I just can’t help it

When people walk slow and take over the side walk

Christmas TAG!

 

I saw this rylie*style doing this Christmas Tag and since I was having so much fun doing my Holly Jolly Christmas Tag, I’m simply just filled with the holiday mood that I decided to do another tag post. Hope you’d like it.

I’m excited already so let’s jump in right away:

1. What’s you favorite Christmas film?

I’d go with It’s A Wonderful Life and Scrooge. We watched these classics movies every year. It definitely gets me in the Christmas spirit 🙂

2. Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Yes, most of the time. Living in Canada, the percentage of not having a White Christmas is next to zero! But seeing the weather this past few weeks, I might have to take it back. I very much want a White Christmas, it wouldn’t feel the same without snows.

3. Where do you usually spend your holidays?

Christmas day is mostly at home. I love spending a quiet Christmas day with my family! Open presents  followed by our traditional picture taking and watching Christmas classic movies. Then we lounged around, eat, naps and repeats.

4. What is your favorite Christmas song?

Hmm.. this is a tough one to choose. I love all Christmas songs but if I get to pick a favorite it’ll be White Christmas

5. Do you open your presents on Christmas eve?

Nope, I prefer everyone to open their gifts on Christmas Day.  More time to enjoy the gifts we received and be chatty the meaning of the gifts presented.

6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

Um…I don’t really know all but only Rudolph, the Red nose reindeer. Okay, I’m terrible remembering names.

7. What holiday traditions are you most looking forward to this year?

Just spending time with my family! Wearing pyjamas on the morning of Christmas Day opening presents under the decorated Christmas tree.

8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Fake! I would prefer to have a real tree though. I miss the smell of pine.

9. What is your all-time favorite Christmas sweet/treat?

Butter cookies and fruit cake!

10. Be honest: Do you like giving gifts or receiving them better?

The true meaning of this Holiday season is mainly about the spirit of giving. I very much enjoyed to give more than to receive. The joy that was planted on each and everyone’s face are PRICELESS! I love receiving gifts, of course.

11. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?

I’ll have to skip on this one until next Wednesday’s post. Sneak peek, it’s a topic we wanted to share in our collaboration posts.

12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holidays?

Vacationing to Japan or Korea with my family  🙂

13. Are you a Pro present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?

I enjoy wrapping presents and always buy new ones to store every time. Finishing touch with a bow or star ribbon.

14. Most memorable holiday moment?

Having a new member added to our family. My son was born in Oct and it was so special for a little bundle of joy joining us that year!

15. What made you realize the truth about Santa?

Umm.. I honestly can’t remember. It was so long ago 😦

16. Do you make New Year’s Resolutions? Do you stick to them?

I make new resolutions yearly, and try to stick to them as much as I could!

17. What makes the holidays special for you?

Jesus is the Reason for this Season!

Q: What makeup products you reached for to do a double duty for you?

It could be anything you used frequently or go-to products, for example: I’d use my shimmer bronzer on my crease as eyeshadow or a blusher and I’ve used lip liner for an eyeliner, lipstick for a cream blush etc. Let me know and share your comments down below which product work on double duty.

1. What piece of clothing or accessory is essential to any outfit you wear? A pair of nice comfortable shoes is all I need to go with my outfit. I love it simple but yet elegant, if that make sense.  

2. Do you often wear your hair down or up? In summer, I love to updo my hair into a ponytail or a bun! 

3. What’s the last movie you watched in a theater? Disney movie “Cinderella” 

4. If you could spend a day with any celebrity, living or deceased, who would you pick? I don’t mind any celebrity but definitely he/she must be definitely alive and kicking, hahaha! 

5. When a new beauty trend happens, do you usually take part in it? I tried to follow the latest trends to share them with my friends here in my blog.

6. What’s your current favorite beauty brand? Lately, I’m obsessed with BH Cosmetics, Joe Fresh and Quo Cosmetics but my go to buddies are the Balm, UD, NYX, Lorac and Wet n Wild ❤ 

7. Besides blogging, what do you like to do in your spare time? Hmm… I love to read, spending quality time with my family, watching mystery movies and cook. 

8. Toilet paper. Are you on team over or team under (for further clarification, how would you position it on the holder)? I would say a team over. This may be TMI, but I want the pretty embossed side to be facing me and softer side folded out. 

9. Favorite TV show? Nova, Secret of the Death (documentary) 

10. Summer will be coming to a close within the next month. Are you sad to see it go, or are you over it and looking forward to a new season? With the heat I’m more than over with this summer. Can’t wait till Fall season though. I’m strange in the sense that I have to admit that I miss the cold weather hahaha!

Which lip color should I wear?

Okay, I’m in a dilemma of choosing a lip color shade to go with my orange dress I just pick up several weeks ago. I want a lip color that goes uniformly with my dress.

Q: Any ideas on which lip color goes with an orange dress?

A: I’m on the fence to decide nude or peachy shade but I’ll want to hear your answer.
